She knows Lee - I mean the "real" Lee, not the persona we all see - quite well because of his friendship and working relationship with her husband. Tbh, Lee's "ignorant, dirt poor northerner" shtick gets tiresome af after a while; especially when we all know he's a millionaire living in London.

Can you explain that joke to me please?
Bunting is a colourful decoration that you put up for parties. So Alan was basically saying that when Katherine celebrated early she had put up bunting for her 'party' and so he was taking it down because it was not needed (as she had failed).

It’s also fascinating that you went on a huge diatribe because I brought “fame” into the equation when if you take another look at my previous comments (which don’t have an edited timestamp on them) I never used that word once, or even remotely implied it.
