On background: I am a mature (50+) single childless black male, college and post graduate education financially socially and emotionally stable. Until I and five other comparable single black men indefinitely suspended dating black women over a year ago, we collectively dated over 65 domestic black women in the 12- 18 months prior.
Over 85% of these dates were limited to one outing. Another 8% were second or third dates the remainders were no shows. Our personal and professional backgrounds equipped us to be competent social conversationalists. In almost all our dates we asked polite getting to know you questions.
But in the majority of instances we were interrogated about our financial standing, education and intimate personal details gentlemen do not divulge. Our sexual orientations were challenged based on our mannerisms and vernacular. We listened when the opportunity presented itself but what we heard foreclosed any future dating.
Boomerang was an amazing movie showcasing some of the black talent in Hollywood. But the dating and black women portrayed using a famous opening from another movie... A long time ago in a galaxy far far away...
You know, first, I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment. I can understand your point of view. I will say will not give up on black women, I know there are women from all races that would make good partners. The context of the video is for those men, who seem to find it hard to "get" the woman they want. Women inherently tell us things without telling us. This works for both negative and positive things. Men these days have a need to run down their list of accomplishments, instead of listening to see if the woman is one who is ready to be lead by a HVM. Alot can be learned from simply listening, instead of wasting time, with multiple dates. In the future I hope to do live chats I hope to see more HVMs like yourself join in the conversation.

An indefinite suspension is not wholesale abandonment. But as men we remain accountable to maintain the remnants of what once comprise the most married demographic in America.
