Hi Ali, the failsave funktion is a really good item in Naza Controller. Today I tried it out and I have to say, you really need balls to shut down the radio during flight. But the copter does what the manual promissed. First it climbed up to 20 meters hight, then directly to home base point, waiting a little and than slowly down to ground. Shortly over ground the ground effect comes through, the copter was a little unstable over ground, a little up and down, but at the end save back down and shut off the motors. That’s really cool and a model saving feature. Thank you for your video, I enjoyed watching it. At this point I want to say Thank You to all Video makers in the world. I‘ve collected my know-how about my F550 by watching videos, identical which language is spoken. I prefer german, english so far my school english let me go, dutch is also understandable ( with a little fantasy) and then it becomes difficult. So far, so good, somebody has solved the problem, is posting a video and the community is richer by getting more Know-how. That‘s really great and it shows, that people around the world, can have fun with this hobby by giving a helping hand. I really love it!
Great video Alishanmao. I have learned a lot from different reviews and how to videos. Your enthusiasm and warm humor makes them even better. Keep up the good work !
Ali. Very cool features of the Naza GPS system. Definitely going on my shopping list when I jump into FPV quads. Still perfecting my heli flying skills, but the naza sure takes a lot of fear of loss of crashing out of the equation. Thanks for the informative and nicely done vid.
I would recommend starting with the F450. I did and it's been great and remains very stable in 10-15 mph wind. The F450 also gives you more options, for example, upgrading to an F550 by changing the plates and adding an extra two motors, arms and speed controllers.
Ali, you provideing realy good channel! what more? Every one who watching your videos can feel that you love it! Nice to see videos like yours!100% by my side...
Hello Ali, thanks for putting this all up in video, it helped me lot with the Naza + GPS set-up. I am learning aerial video shooting using a DJI Hexa and Gopro.
Gracias amigo, eres realmente una gran ayuda para los que comenzamos en esto, muchas gracias por tu dedicacion! Thanks buddy, you really are a great help to those who started this, thank you very much for your dedication!
I got mt my Naza-M w/ GPS today! WooooHooooo! Thanks Ali for recommending the DJI-USA site man. I got it in only three days for $399.00. Man I cannot WAIT to get this thing mounted on my quad! :)
Hiya Ali. Im sorry I missed your garage sale!! I just recently got 2 "new" multirotors. Both with Naza. A TBS discovery with M-Lite, and a tarot 680 with A2, v2. Set the TBS up tonite...and WOOT....what stable flight!!! I should have paid attention to all the references in your other videos about getting one! The only issue I have now is even though it came with a preconfigured T8J, the IOC wasnt set up. What i see it being used for is to choose a direction for the video platform to point, and then fly along sideways in forward mode. Ive read some hacks being done to make M Lite into V2, seen those references?
Lol you a funmy dude, im looking into something more advanced after owning a ar drone. Ive got a small quad coptor that i use at home to focus on keeping my skills sharp. It looks good
I've watched almost all the videos on your channel.. with assambling my naza, it would be very very hard if u didnt share step by step guide.. Hope to have more quadcopter tips and videos :D Tnx alot :)
I am learning a lot from your video to pursue my hobby. Thanks for such an excellent well explained video. In near future I am going make a drone using F330 frame DJI Naza V2 controller. I have seen your video that one has to remove ESC red wire before connecting to controller. My question is why it is so ? Other you tuber connecting without removing red wire. I am totally confused. What is the technical fact. please give your opinion for safeguard of my controller. Thanks and regards
Are you still flying these days? I started flying in 2013 round about the time dji naza came out. Always used to watch your videos for inspiration! Anyway I still have a tbs discovery but have moved on to 5" mini quads - flying full acro now :)
Hello sir.. Can you please make a video Haw to set up DJI naza mlite flight controller to flysky Fs-i6s 10ch AFHDS touch screen with Fs-iA 10b reciever
Your video was interesting, especially to me, a newbe! Can you tell me what the cost would be for a setup like you have in the video? I'm trying to figure out what all this might cost me. Thanks!
Please read the 6 animated photos on page 21 of the manual, then watch your video again. It doesn't seem to me that you know what the NAZA would do next @ the moment you turned off that transmitter. Cheers
i'd like to buy a sencond hand cheap naza combo anh still operation good. where can i buy? because i'm a student in vietnam and i have not enough money to buy a new combo thank you very much
Hey Ali, first...love your videos man! Umm....I just bought a used futaba 10c and was wondering if you could do a complete video on setting it up with a quadcopter or hex. Also how to erase what the person before me had on the radio, know what I mean? Please help. I don't have manual so I'm trying to get it on my own and if I can't figure it out I'm just gonna get a DX9.
Hi there... I aske you this question because you seem to be the quadcopter Guru on YT. Im planning to by a DJI naza and flamewheel F550 (for aerial media). I'm really confused in finding a transmitter, and read a lot confusing forums. I'm currently in doubt about the Spektrum DX8, and the Graupner MX-16 HoTT. Can you give some advise? Thanks in advance.. !
Hi Ali. I need to upgrade the radio (I have DX6) and I wanted the MX-20 hott, but is to expensive now. So..I thinking to buy a "intemediate" radio for use it with hexa before I will be able to biu MX-20. I was wathting the Aurora 9. What do You think about that radio ? Seems the ony one with 9 ch at that price, and not loose more money when I change to MX-20. Nice video.
hi ali, i see you use pluse esc with the naza. what kind of adapter are you using. i have tried connect them straight and it did not worked well thanks, guy
Hello, nice video.. i have the same one and i am using een tbs discovery with naza gps. How do you program your transmitter? i haven the same ( futaba t10) when i'm turning it off it will not go in failsafe, only by switch.
Hi am thinking if getting the dji phantom with the built in naza & GPS I wanted to know will it handle strong wind like a 450 size cents it's a 330 size? It's has the same motors as a 450 quadcopter will the naza & GPS work with all size quadcopter the same in stronge wind?
Hi, i bought the naza m v2 and i am having a fly like using acro mode, do you know how could i get a stable fly? My drone fly but it doesnt stay in the same place and it is moving to the sides without giving any orther. Thanks a lot.
Hi Ali i have a question.. i have a Futaba T8FG radio my forced Failsafe is set on a 2 position switch and RTH also works when turning off the radio. But if i try to disarm Failsafe while in flight and regain control the only way to do this is to switch to manual mode. Failsafe switch is not working or turning the radio back on is not working
Can somebody (alishanmao ?) tell me that in altitude or gps hold mode what does the throttle stick actually do? What happens if you set it in center, up, down? Is it just a "relative" control to go lower or upper? Thank you!
Where can I get that landing skid for my F450 Alien quad? The Naza m Lite holds position before landing in RTH to allow you to regain control - if it hasn't been mentioned
really helpful brother,,, pls tell want to upgrade cheersion CX 20 with naza lite, don't want to change ESC, pwor distribution board , radio. is it works... pls tell
no, don't bother the PDB has to be compatible with the naza m lite as in it has to be the PDB that came with the kit. Also ,the cx 20 probably won't support the extra weight (don't take my word i'm not sure)
Dear Sir can you please help me out to setup my quadcopter. I am not being able to properly link my T10J and Naza V2 but the receiver R3008SB is having green led on when transmission is on...
hello Ali , tonight finally solve the problem with my motors , basically I did everything again , put my turnigy tgy i10 in airplane mode not quadcopter in that way the mixing and the end points can be changed . The only thing I can do is find satellites , could you explain me the positions in the switches when you start the quad using the manual mode? If I understood the switch A (in my radio) is in manual position and the other switch (IOC) in off position . maybe that make that my quad dont find any satellite, I try it outside in the yard , so is not the house
It would be nice if you could read and soaked up all the informations given in the manual before you do this video. It also helps you to look more like a Profesional.(there are 6 animated photos regards to ARTH which are very easy to understand). People watching your video are expecting to learn things from you. I hope that you would take this as a constructional commend
Hey @alishanmao when we take off which mode should be set. I kept in manual mode, felt difficult to take off and quad flipped once. In atti it didnt take offf. i need help and im confued with the modes.

Lol you a funmy dude, im looking into something more advanced after owning a ar drone. Ive got a small quad coptor that i use at home to focus on keeping my skills sharp. It looks good
you need steel balls to try RTH by switching off your radio. Nice to see but hard to try!!!! btw great job asu usual Ali.
This has the same controller as sa DJI Phantom. Quite intelligent beast.
I do agree with that but again, you need nerves cause elettronic can let you down any moment..

Dude, you're soooo funny :P haha, love how you go under and use it as a fan.
Great video. You answered so many questions for me. 5*
Are you still flying these days? I started flying in 2013 round about the time dji naza came out. Always used to watch your videos for inspiration! Anyway I still have a tbs discovery but have moved on to 5" mini quads - flying full acro now :)

mine sucks it hovers nicely but it moves to the side and it doesn't stop it keeps going.
I want to buy dji naza do u sell ?
'People should not expect too much out of it' you say. What is there more to expect? Sorry, just don't understand what you mean with this remark.
Was this video done with the Naza Lite or was it with the Naza M v2?
seeing as the video was out before the naza v2 I would guess it is a naza-m v1
Brendan Taylor Thank you... sorry I didn't even look at the published date... duh. my bad.
Page 21 of manual says "hover 15s, then land" I see someone was too hurry to play with his Naza ;)
hello alishanmao, wanna ask, did u use naza stock gps?
i was wondering either its ok with m8n ublox gps,
andi, I'm running the Naza m Lite v1 with the m8n gps. So, far, it seems to do a nice job. Hope that helps.
Hey @alishanmao when we take off which mode should be set. I kept in manual mode, felt difficult to take off and quad flipped once. In atti it didnt take offf. i need help and im confued with the modes.
GPS is best
ali....
im doing my nut......
I have a turnigy 9x and the transmitter off/link loss failsafe does not work with the naza mv2
should I toss it and get a t8j or am I missing something?
guru ali guidance required......
all the best
you have to set it up in your TX to enter fail safe. Use the mixer to do this too if you want
***** i did this on the dedicated failsafe channel ...rth and gear down as the last packet data send on the powet switch or link loss but still no dice...
Have since bought a t8j and all is workingn fine .....and the rx is alot smaller with sbus to make it even simpler in wiring terms.
Many thanks for getting back to me i will use the 9x for the camera opp.
Keep up the good work......tell me how big you would use the naza v2 ....i am building a t810 and i like the naza controlers.
What happens when the machine gets too big or is it a marketjng defence for the A2/ wookong m?
