I love Jesse's technique of "guessing every possible plot". Then everyone is like "Jesse got it right", when he also guessed aliens, werewolves, vampires, Oscar the Grouch, the mom did it, she had a twin, both twins are alive, both twins are dead, her twin had a twin, etc.
Well except he didn't really guess on that, they were goofing about with ridiculous ideas. They make it incredibly obvious who they really think did and what the motive is several times.
Okay but to be fair dodger called it first and she also called the motive the second the character was introduced. But she’s also the one who suggested neither if the twins were dead so it’s really a give and take
Some people think Sherlock exaggerated, but they haven't seen Detective Cox & Doogs on a case before. They deduced the murderer and the motive in the intro screen! #wendigos

Fun fact, after I had collected all the clips there was 3 hours of footage to sift through. The next video is currently sitting at 4.5 hours and I still have a few videos to go through. Might have to make that one a two-parter-

So now whenever I think of this game, I think of spice cake and whenever i think of spice cake, i think of this game. And here I am, seven years later, almost autumn, eating spice cake and watching this video.
If I recall correctly, the devs had to use a backup solution to the murder because one of the actors got ill. Originally the murderer was somebody else and they had to improvise as they couldn't afford to rent the location any longer than they already had.

Simon's homebrew leads to knowing that James' traded opium tea to Simon. This in turn leads to learning that Simon is allergic to opioids, which means he couldn't have taken the morphine. And thus you learn that Simon and Kate weren't outdoing each other, but Simon was testing her.

Sadly shortly after the filming of this game Paul Darrow suffered a major aneurysm and died a few years later. He was meant to be a major part of any sequel and after his illness and then death they decided not to continue any work on a sequel

Does no one in this game know how to use a damn pocket? With all the dropped keys a notes its a wonder how anyone remembers anything or gets back into their homes.
