Thanks for the video! I just ordered a 420 with 25hp. I am confident I will have enough power after watching your video!

With a 25hp that will be a rocket!!

@@PovertyPointCustoms I hope so. I hear the 20hp is good for a couple people but if you have 3-4 people and gear, it won't plane without a 25hp. Maybe I was misinformed?

Not to bad, going to adjust the motor angle a bit, hope to get a few more mph out in it!

Nothing like going full throttle through 1ft waves for an hour straight in a 12ft boat. My ass hurts.

Thanks, really liking fuel injection in the motor, and matches the boat better then the old Honda lol

@@PovertyPointCustoms Now that you have had some time on this motor, how would you compare it with the Honda? The reason being is that I own a mint 12-14 year old 15hp Honda that works as it should, but with the market currently in Ontario I can probably sell it and purchase a one or two year old Merc or Tohatsu with the EFI. Just wondering if it is worth doing as there is nothing wrong with the Honda and it works great.

It is working really and holding up amazing. I do have a cover for it when not using to keep the weather/sun off of it

If you had to do it again would you buy this or another ridged hull? Curious why you got rid of the ridged.

So far very happy, avon with the fiberglass hull was amazing, we just wanted a newer boat, handling wise the hard bottom is the way to go, for winter storage this one is nice as it folds up.

@@PovertyPointCustoms gotcha thanks. Think I'm going with an aluminum hull since I'll keep it on a trailer.

Qs please, how do you transport your motor? When on trailer? Do you transport with motor on the transom or off the transom?

  • @ia6980

Whats the motor stand height that you use? Is it around 3.5 feet or higher?

You might whant to check that you out the right pressure in the tubes amd keels to tho otherwise the aluminum floor will move if not air properly all tibes keel tho had this happened but once I put the right pressure was fine toh just a fyi
