YESS!! I went to every Bon Jovi concert in the SF Bay Area in the 80s and 90s. I'm watching his documentary but haven't finished yet. Total fan girl here, but hearing him as a person in my 50s and having a musician in the family, this is gold and great advice! Also, a Pisces over here. Thinking out of the box and hard, smart work pays off always! So excited to see him on your show!!
YES.
yes! I didn't realize he had such an amazing marriage. That's so rare with celebrities.
🧡
Yes! Yes! Yes! It's not just about the music, I love the person he is too. And I love listening to him, he speaks so eloquently.
I grew up in Sayreville NJ... Bon Jovi's home town. My sister went to school with his brother. His wifes parents lived around the corner from me as a kid. During the summer we would see his Ferrari or limousine in front of the house. We dared a friend to knock on the door and ask for him. He came out wearing ripped jeans and a ripped and faded 'Sayreville Softball' shirt and took pictures with us. He was a nice guy.
🧡
That's awesome 😊
Jersey girl here , he's always made us proud of him, I remember when the first video came out on MTV and all us kids lost our minds seeing seaside nj in the video and he's one of us and he's smoking hot Italian think I was 14 or 15 I'm pushing 54 now
Wow 2 handsome men on the same programme. Going to be a good day. Lol
Oh!! ❤❤❤❤👋👋👋
Bon Jovi just revived my passion to work hard and put in 100%. Love his quote “ You will never catch me giving 50%”. He’s inspiring!
I'm rooting for you!
THE GUY CANT SING ANYMORE. watch any live performance from the last 10 years!! AWFUL. why did Sambora leave? he's been putting in 20% for the last ten years!
What a beautiful example of a human being. ❤
Wake up early every day to start the new day better, to take steps towards realizing dreams and making changes in life, especially starting as early as possible
Quero tanto conhecer Bon jov moro no Brasil
He’s more than a voice and pretty hair. He’s really smart and introspective.
Agreed!
Agreed, he is generous and kind.
He's. ITALIAN!!!
"It's not about me, it's about we" That was a fantastic one
He absolutely did not look like every kid at the mall. I was at the mall and there wasn’t anyone near as beautiful as him there.
He really was absolutely gorgeous! That smile and sweet demeanor amplified it even more. OMG!
If I saw someone who looked like that at my mall, I would’ve had a heart attack
My best from childhood and early adulthood. Was Jon Bon Jovi's twin. Guess what, you're right. Nobody where I lived looked anything like him. All the girls ignored me.😂
He was never ordinary....His looks even made straight guys wonder if they're gay. lol
@micheleczawursky620 me too. There were never guys who look like that just everywhere.
I’m a 52 year old man that was raised in a small village in Ohio and I got hooked on Jovi when their 7800 degrees Fahrenheit album came out. Once the New Jersey album came out I started relaying Jovi’s songs as my hometown lyrics because I related to them so much. I swear I know every person that Jon talks about only in my hometown. Brotherhood 4 ever🍻
good day sir
You sound like the guy I want to marry 💕
Had the great pleasure of meeting Bon Jovi backstage at a concert in St. Louis, MO in the 90’s. He had no ego and was such a kind and humble individual!
One of those famous people who remains humble to this day. I saw Jon on Oprah giving away school supplies to kids after a hurricane. I don't remember which hurricane, I don't remember where exactly it was (I think it was New Jersey).....but I do remember that he bought those school supplies and those kids were thrilled to receive them. This guy gives back, he's genuine and authentic.
That’s why Bon Jovi still strong with his music 🎵 admired & respected.
I saw the Oprah show your talking about he did that for school kids in Philadelphia, I'm from New Jersey he also gave Oprah a million dollars check donation I think it Katrina's hurricane, but I can tell you when sandy hit here its on RUclips I just saw it recently he came out and helped everyone cause one of the towns biggest hit was his home town where he grew up of sayerville, him and his wife have been doing tremendous humanitarian work here for years he's never left NJ or forgot where he came from couldn't be prouder of him been a fan since runaway came debuted as a teenager ❤
@@user-km4ul2ry4d I am sure he's done much more for people too, things we will never hear about, because he is a very humble and good person.
🙏
YES. His comment " It's not about ME, it's about WE" after working in the music industry a while and meeting a lot of frontmen, this is one I never met, but can tell that he is one of the good ones. Wise, humble and knows what matters in life. So nice to hear that he's a gem.
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
I was a sophomore when “Runaway” hit the radio and I was like, they are gonna be SO famous!!!!! Bon Jovi ROCKS!
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
My 1st Bon Jovi experience was in 1984 when they opened for the Scorpions in Chicago. Love them ever since!
Seen them in Monroe La in 1989 and unscheduled stop on the tour!
I was 16! It was awesome! Thank You Guys for that experience 😘❤️
One of my favorite singer of all times. Thanks for having him on your show. 🤗😍
You're welcome,thank you for tuning in 🧡
Hi Jon. We met a few decades ago, at Ed and Valerie's Beach house. You and your wife, with baby on board, did a surprise stop by. It was fun letting you in, watching the expression on their faces. As Wolfies nanny, I never knew who would stop by ❤
Very cool!
Omg that must have been A great time!! ❤
I am 57 yrs old now(shhhh you!)
and i can honestly tell you that
along with my daughter, John Francis Bongiovi has been the Love of my Life.❤❤
What I have always found fascinating is the line drawn between John Bongiovi, the man, and Jon Bon Jovi, the rock n' roll star.
Best JBJ interview of all time. Jon reveals his inner man beyond the rock star status. I was blessed to meet him in his VIP suite at Denver’s Pepsi Center when his Philadelphia Soul played John Elway’s Colorado Crush in 2004. I first saw JBJ in 1986 when Bon Jovi played McNichol’s arena. His anti drug message is what made me fall in love knowing JBJ was and is a man of strong conviction and integrity. In 2004, Elway didn’t join Jon for the picture op in Jon’s suite with a select few…me included. Elway did make an appearance in the hallway for the photo op. I declined and waited for all to file out of Jon’s suite to see if I could have a minute with him, and he obviously allowed that to happen. Not only did he give me the time to share what his anti drug stance meant to me, in addition to his philanthropic work, and his devotion to Dorothea and their kids. I asked if I could hug him, and he held me tightly. It was miraculous. I walked on air leaving his suite, and miraculously, he followed me, grabbed my hand and said, let’s get in the group photo with John Elway. Jon is a genuine humanitarian on so many levels, and the time and attention he gave me proves it.
🙏🙏🙏
Amazing memory
Wow thanks for sharing this beautiful story! Just when you think you couldn't love Jon any more that you already do you hear a story like yours! 😍
❤Thank you for sharing! Your message brought tears.
Glad you enjoyed it!
There will never be another time period like the 80s ever. I was lucky to enjoy that era to the fullest. He is a true Icon, not like today's TikTok bull $hit artist, including T. Swift.
Dala bych víc Lajku ale víc jich tam není.
Mmm I’m not a swiftie but she is a very good artist, st least Red and 1989 were really good albums and JBJ praised her as the real. Deal in an interview with Larry King
Trust your instincts...He followed that spark and each time he was opposed and did it anyway...he lives his life authentically with courage and integrity, very inspirational.
A Rock Star not succumbing to self-destruction is success
and incredibly rare.
Jon Bon Jovi - Live your truth without compromise; be of service to others; take the time to smell the roses- enjoy your life. Also, it is not just about me- but it is about we. Greatness is leaving something that is worthy behind when we leave this world. Jon Bon Jovi's comments are such a blessing. His songs are such a great gift!
"Everyday" by Bon Jovi was the first rock song I ever heard at 7 years old. Fan for 21 years now
What a treasure trove of wisdom, humility, and a genuinely great person.
Wow, what a beautiful Soul. I have pure memories of joy because of this music. Bless his heart
Love Jon's music but love his heart even more! 💘💘🤗🤗
🧡
PS. I love JBJs approach to fame and life and his commitment to family. It’s so refreshing!
Thank you for watching🧡
Je to zcela normální chlap ta svatozář je přehnaná ale udržel si toho chlapeckého rošťáka kterým tak imponoval no ten teď trochu dostává na frak ale 60 je 60 co naplat Na pódiu Vždy budou pro mne géniové
I was born on 1982 in Cuban family. I was in love with Jon Bon Jovi ❤❤❤❤.. I listen to his music since I was 6 years old. The first English words I said was thanks to this fabulous man. I will forever love Bon Jovi. ❤
I think that was one of the greatest interviews i've seen. Respectful interviewer with interesting questions and kindness throughout the whole video. Great interviewer and listener! Lots of love to you and Jon. Jon's heart and soul is made of gold.
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
One of the best interviews I have seen of Jon.
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
In the middle of watching the documentaries! Jon has a true heart of gold and so very humble! I’ve Been a fan since early 80’s and I went to every concert until 2008. The music of Bon Jovi got me through such trying times in my teenage and college years! I am so sad to see this legend retire but he will find peace and happiness in his next chapters of his life with his family! Thank you Jon for keeping it real and always giving back to your fans and people. You will always have a special place in my heart and your music will ALWAYS bring joy to me! ❤❤❤❤
6/7/84- my 1st concert- Bon Jovi opens for the Scorpions at MSG! Wow! If I could only go back in time…
Awesome interview! Jon is such a deep, authentic human. I've loved him and his music since I was 12 years old. Going through a lot of bad stuff in my life, the music of Bon Jovi always pulled me out of depression. At 47 years old, I have every Bon Jovi song on my playlist on repeat every day! So much love and appreciation for Jon and the guys ❤
Glady you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching!. 🧡
Lewis, you are an underrated interviewer. Wonderful job
Love Bon Jovi. Grew up with his music. So much Wisdom to impart and has longevity for a reason...Would Love to see him write a book or host a podcast. He has a really cool and smooth voice for this type of platform.
Omfg you got to interview Jon!?!?
May 18, 1987. St.Louis Arena . My first concert. Bravo!
Mine too! Best concert ever! Been to every one since!

YES. Heart and soul. Superstar and humanitarian❤
This man and his music save my life i was in a horrible time in my life. Bon Jovi quite literally save my life. Im not kidding
This is what makes you a legend Jon...how life affects you in a very good way and the decision to choose this path instead of the other..you have my respect...thanks for sharing Jon❤❤❤
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
That was one of the best interviews I have seen with Jon and being a fan for over 37 years I have seen a lot😘 Thank you both!
Always willing to hear more from Jon 🎸
Wow! This is great... Just starting the interview. I love Bon Jovi! It's good to listen to his personal side.
What a brilliant interview. Credit to you as an interviewer to get Jon’s thoughts down so succinctly. This band was my youth personified. I lived and breathed bon Jovi.
I’ve been listening and watching them for nearly 40 years. If I had one wish it would be for Jon to learn to relax. He’s so driven and dedicated he now seems almost dissatisfied and wanting more. He’s a legend outright. I wish he’d find satisfaction in his achievements and learn to enjoy the ride more than the endless competition of success
He’s a beautiful soul but I see such pent up emotions.
My childhood love has turned so cold. Smile from within Jon. Your internal beauty was the key.
Bon Jovi forever x
Admiration and mutual respect, etc. for 35 years wonderful relationships and marriage. Gorgeous Bon Jovi!! 😍♥️👏👏Thank you so much for interview!

Yes there were so many good and intellectual questions, questions they should have asked on the documentary. I was surprised by the Malibu beach house story!
What a humble, down to earth and amazing person he is!! Thanks for bringing him on, he is such an inspiration :)
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
What a beautiful human being. He uses his platform so eloquently, his upbringing definitely made a difference. You are great Jon.
🙌

This type of knowledge is extra ordinary.
Wow man, I’ve listened to probably hundreds of hours of your interviews but this one is truly special. Never seen you so continuously joyful at that high of a level for every single second of an interview. I was too. This is beautiful content Louie. You nailed this one bro
WoW What a wonderful human being! Thank you Jon Bon Jovi! Thank you again Lewis for another episode full of greatness! ❤👏♥️👏♥️
Thank you, both -- best interview of Jon Bon Jovi I've come across (ever). I remember when Bon Jovi hit the music scene (I was in HS), seeing the perspective as an older, wiser man - now truly in his prime - was well worth it. Very inspiring!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much for your feedback 🙂
Coming from LinkedIn to watch this interview. Loooove Jon Bon Jovi.
Thanks for checking out the interview! It's much appreciated.
Love Jon ! I'm from Jersey ! and I miss seeing his name all over the signs on the Parkway South (which is one of our major highways in Jersey that takes people to Atlantic City and all of the Jersey shore beach spots) but I miss driving down the shore and seeing his name. That will always remind me of Jon and his amazing legacy! I also love his community initiatives, like his newly opened restaurants near Rutgers University in Newark that "pay it forward" thus feeding underrepresented folks that really need the food. He is the gift that keeps on giving!
Well there is the Jon Bon Jovi rest stop on Pkwy it used to be the cheesequake stop soon as you get over the drixol bridge 😊
History will show that Jon Bon Jovi was not only a phenomenal talent but that he was indeed a great man.
Hit it on the spot! Love him! Jon Bon Jovi does have a beautiful heart!
🧡
My son shared a birthday with Jon and I took to a concert on his birthday to see Bon Jovi. It was awesome to share my favorite band with him.

Intresting how people at the very top, always say to their younger self "Enjoy it more". I wonder if the runners up would say i should have not enjoyed myself so much. Great video! Love the ending was priceless. Gratitude... Wow.
YES. Biggest moment for me was listening to how Jon followed his own inner North Star. And he did it with compassion. As part of a team, a couple, a family. Great interview!
For a great rock star to have such great goals is refreshing to hear :)

Such an amazing interview! You pick all the good ones Lewis (no doubt.) Never a dull spot on any of the ones ive heard/seen. Thank you for sharing. I get a feeling Jon will get his second 'slippery' peak yet again. Guess time will tell. If anything he has what it takes to be great...the will to work hard. He said it over and over...no catching him giving 50%. Much respect. 🤘😔🎸
Lewis, Bon Jovi has been my favourite band since mid 80s. I can honestly say this is one of my favourite interviews with him. Your questions were intelligent and authentic and Jon supplied thoughtful answers. I have watched many of your other videos and appreciate that you interviewed Jon in the same manner as your other guests. Top quality work! Your listening ability allows space for the guests to open up and share. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes.
Jon has always been my hero and my driving force. My inspiration as a teen through art school to a 53 year old art director today. Jon I take my hat off to you. X
You mean idol, not hero.
Mental.
Im 54 and I've suddenly become a massive fanboy after watching the documentary ❤
My wife has loved this man since she was 10 in 1985. She's been really ill for a while, our son was really ill too.
I sometimes wish i could get him to call her and say "hi"
It would blow her mind ❤️ and pick her up x
This was a fantastic interview! He is such a giving and humble person. Thank you for bringing this to us.

This is so fascinating - SO impressed with how Lewis focused in on "greatness", entrepreneurship, leadership, being a visionary etc.. Every other interview his whole life has been about the music only!!!! KUDOS!!!
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
❤ Jon turned out to become a pretty damn good man in so many ways! He has grown to be a good husband, loving father, fantastic songwriter, epic front man, entrepreneur, humble, overall grateful person, a philanthropist with a beautiful heart. I'm so proud of what he has done with all that has been given him. I'm so grateful for the love my young heart had for you, Jon Bon Jovi! Looking back now as a grown woman to see the legacy you built is pretty special in my heart! I now have a deep respect for you as a human being! You turned out be a'ight! 😉 Thank you for the incredible memories!
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
I loved this interview so much. Bon Jovi has been a part of my life since I was a teenager, and the music has always spoken to my soul, my dad also loved Bon Jovi. at his funeral we played Wanted Dead or Alive. that song just makes me cry like a baby because I think of him singing, that song at the top of his lungs because he loved it so much. thank you for so many years of amazing music that touched so many people and I hope you have many years to come. I pray for healing for your vocal cords and thank you for sharing your story.
So glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you for watching.
Me too he has a huge heart i love i listen to him every day my favorite band the new song ledgadery is so amazing
I watched the documentary twice. I love Bon Jovi. I'm happy I was there in the 80s enjoying their rise to fame and going to see them in concert.
Interviewer really loves to say wow😅
This interview was fantastic! The questions we’re all thought provoking and I honestly noticed that he answered without missing a beat!! LUV Bonjovi!!!!!
