First to buy 572 in Ireland, great saw, waiting on my 562 mark 2 ,saying that my 500i is my felling saw not that it's better than the 572 just have it set up for that job your show rocks 👍♥️
Grandpa's plainer ! Excellent content as always Buckin, we are forever grateful, keep hammering it home to us, the more I watch you the sharper my chains get.
I’m a stihl 661 fan it’s the biggest I own. but I love watching you run any chainsaw and I’m considering changing careers from driving cross country to cutting trees because of you.
Greetings Buckin’! Haven’t been in here in awhile. I’ve been out in the field training a whole bunch here in Alaska. Just wanted to send my love and say you’re looking great! Stay strong, I know you will. Thank you for what you do and all you share. (Also 572 and 562 fan here…)
Hey Buckin, thanks for the content, I’ve been a STIHL guy for 25 years. But watching what you do with 572, I might just convert.. Ontario is a much different environment than BC, but we Canadian’s adapt. Have a good one, lots of love brother
572xp fan here! Yup add a pipe with the right volume and exhaust outlets and you will get more torque. Great saw! Don't forget the sharp chain that goes along with the setup!
Cutting that log up has been one the best show of how simple keeping the saw sharp as you go. Slow down hard for me get tired fast then have to go sharpen for being dumb.
I am Buckin’s age and I remember the Swedish Chef well. I believe he was the only Muppet that actually had human hands. He was a dangerous man in the kitchen and if you happen to be in there when he was in then you should be in full PPE gear for your own safety. I am a fan of the 572, it’s not quite the 592 but it can still rip pretty good.
What a Beast that 572xp is Buckin. Never did see a Pine Tree that Big, as it is Huge. Looking around now for another saw. I am Small on do work for Friends or who they know wants some work Done. I do not Charge anything except to get the Wood for my Stove. Currently own 2 saws both are Stihl. One is a 16inch, MS-260 Pro the other is a MS-271 20INCH Farm Boss. All hand Sharpened. They both Pull because of you, and Sharpening the way you Do. I am Laided up for awhile. Getting out the Hospital Tomorrow after more tests. I have 4Heart Stents already but coming along slow. I do hope to be cutting my Log Length firewood between 9 and 10inches long for my Stove. Be in touch, be kind to one another and at 71yrs. Old stay Happy, but most importantly do good deeds. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
Hey Buckin! I see sawdust volcanos over thata’ way! When I get all properly tuned and sharp I’m going to spout the ribbons too! Back at ya from Montana.
To the man in his mid 50s-thanks for axe of kindness mug, it will be going to a brother in the near future. Your Chanel is growing-we’re all growing thanks for being here.
I've been watching since you were at about 40k subscribers, and yes , with spring here, I have been splitting wood and doing some cycling, and it makes a feller hungry. I BBQ,ed a double burger for dinner, which is rare for me. Not cooked, Rare, just Rare that I have a double . 😉✌️
I muffler modded mine, added a Westcoast filter and it absolutely changed it into a saw I love to run. Hand file full skip square ground husqvarna H83 chain although I've been running an Oregon full ship exj that's awesome too, 28" sugihara bar, .063, west coast dogs. I've never ran a ported saw but that might be in the future. We'll see, I need another saw before porting one!
Hey buckin, next video can you show that old picture of you standing on your firewood pile please? I love seeing that picture, the one where your entire yard is filled with firewood :) I just think it's an awesome picture!
Both saws were pulling through . An a big heck ya to the wanting eat more the more you use a saw that’s for sure no matter what age you are . Even after 3 videos the size of that tree is still unbelievable for someone that doesn’t see Timber that size keep up what your doing the world needs it. Be safe !
Bought my 572 in January of 2020 32” bar full house hand file works great for what I use it for. Never had a hot rod saw so the power seems useable to me but after finding your channel I have wanted to monkey around with the exhaust just haven’t got to it yet. Thanks for helping me on my saw journey!
That MM is “relatively” easy to do, but you’re going to need a welder, some time planning, and some different sizes of exhaust type pipe to choose from that is able to be welded. Just take your time and it’ll turn out good.
@@ToddAdams1234 was gonna start small 7/8”x2” ss pipe on the original can and cut the baffle out. Waiting on soupacoolsaws to come out with the ram horn in the meantime. Main goal is to not loose power but get rid of the heat build up.
@@josh1880 Me personally, I’d just go with a 1”-1&1/4” pipe, or whatever I could readily find. Sometimes available trumps skill or design. If I were using 1” or smaller then I’d use 2 of them. It’s loud, but that performance is fantastic.
@@ToddAdams1234 my saw shop has offered to close up the original opening and do a dual pipe for me. I’ve been considering that. He had a 562 that he did it to and it felt much stronger and sounded wicked. Soon as I get next seasons wood up I’ll start tinkering or take it down to the shop
A hit Spruce log drawn and quartered by the man himself.Luigi was the chef on the Muppets. Yeah, where has time gone? It put a big divet when it hit that woods dirt.
Love the tease on 372xp that’s coming! Huge UFC fan for years. 300 event was great! Combat sports in general. Was watching the Mike Tyson boxing match with my grandpa as a kid when he decided he needed a little extra protein as well from all that training! You know the one. Looking forward to Mac 125. Another great Buckin video!
I love huskies, and I have 4 of them. 540 mk2, 555, 390 and 592. But I prefer a Stihl 462 over a 572. It just seems to cut better. I just do firewood and tree removal on the side for fun, so I'm probably just ignorant. But it seems like Stihl has the best thing going in that category right now. The 462 and 572 I tried were both stock though, so maybe that's my problem.
Not true UFC fan just digging style of Mark Hunt, he just walked away 😊 I've been just coming to channel this winter in educational purposes as I had long off and decided to fall trees around my Mom's properties. Usually I'm in labour and sprinting, running and lifting weights as I try to better my 400/800m running in 45year age class, therefore I know protein have huge impact in physical work or exercises, thought my favourite sources are fish and eggs, also meat goes as summertime I"m living around farming areas.
Those 572s are sweet saws!! And BUILT STRONG!! would love to get with the RIPSAW boys and get one ordered when i can drum up the cash😊😊 and a huge UFC fan right here, from the Gracie and Shamrock, and Don Frye days.....Max Holloway is a warrior my friend❤❤great content as usual brother, keep up the great videos😊😊love from my family to yours 🪓🪵🌲 shoot i even had my dad here tonight watching all the videos i have missed including the live feed😮 love this community🤝🤝🫵👍
PROTEIN! I absolutely crave protein every spring when I begin working my muscles harder. My theory is the muscles need it to grow and condition themselves. Keep workin’ it!!
Thanks, Buckin'!!! Talking about over aggressive and dull chains causing damage to saws, no matter what brand is absolutely CORRECT. Thanks for bringing out the elephant in the room...
OMG, Absolutely loved the impersonation. Spot on, I knew exactly who you were doing, very funny, thank you. the Muppet show was the absolute best, (watched it all the time). Yes sir, go gen X !!! 👍
Alright buckin my 6yr old son has started watching your videos with me as he loves chainsaws and he just said that you are codonkers the way you pull jibs 😂and he said codonkers as he's got speech problems he's now going to watch more as he thinks your amazing he said 👌👌👌🤙🤙
I just wanted to say I finally got your bar and chain lube and it works fabulously. Yes more expensive but worth it. Now a question, that monster tree, was there no lumber mill that would have wanted that or a small lumber guy that could have used it instead of turning it into fire wood? Just seems a shame to make firewood out of such a large straight tree. But then again I suppose up where you live that is a normal tree and nobody has the time to come and get it. take care Billy. God Bless.
G'day Buckin, a gentleman commented on the previous video of this log suggesting that using the saw one handed was dangerous, I'd like to point out that once again you showed this method but how many people noticed you feathering the throttle as you're de-bucking to compensate for the kickback effect ? 👍.
I got a 365sp and i sharpened the chain just like you did, some guy with a bigger saw was cutting the same log as i was and he was cutting so slow. Mean while when he saw mine cut better then his he was shocked how i cut the wood up quicker then he was. he had a MS480 magnum and only sharpened his chain with a electric hand held sharpener. I said to him those can be useless unless you get the gullet on the chain.
THE CROW A LOGGERS BEST FRIEND ,,😁👍👍YOU MAKE ME LAUGH BUDDY,I COULD JUST PICTURE WENDY STARING AT YOU THINKING ,WHAT IS HE DOIN CROWING IN THE LIVING ROOM 😆😆😆
So, I know that wood is dead yet I know guys who make custom beams (usually two center cuts with reversed wood grain) would that log be valuable in your area Buckin’?
I've got a 572 with a 33 inch light bar, goes alright, but I don't really like it that, prefer my 592XP with a sharp as chain pretty much destroys anything it encounters😊
My crew and I have been running a stock 572 for like 2yrs now we love it. The muffler broke on us once thts the only major repair we've had to do

Thanks for being you Buckin'! Another friend of Bill W...

The suspense on the 125 is worse than if I was waiting to go in the ring with Max Holloway.

It is absolutely, all in the filing. 👍
Great chain talk, starting to understand it pretty well now 👍🏻💯
Keep on bucking ✊🏻😄
Hi Buckin Great video as always😅. ❤Love the watching you use the different saws and be able see and hear the difference in them
I got me a 572 with a 28 inch bar this January. It's a beast with the C85 chain.
This log will be one to talk about for many years. Just from the sawdust you could mold and average size tree back together 😂
Lol true - good one buddy
😂
And the reaker gauge too help me lots...before i met you i use to bring all my teeth to the same size and reaker average..
You help my game a lots
Thanks Buckin that’s a fine log love seeing the process from start to finish!
Hey Buckin! I see sawdust volcanos over thata’ way! When I get all properly tuned and sharp I’m going to spout the ribbons too! Back at ya from Montana.
I've got to train myself to know that crow call.
Thank you for reaching out.
Nice vid Buckin, my 572 can hold it's own and then some, thanks Donnie Walker!!
