Using fear as a motivator, particularly with deadlines, is something I have dealt with all my life. About 20 years ago, I decided to create an imaginary deadline before the actual one to help keep me on task. Like I do my taxes by March 15 instead of April 15. I put in company goals two weeks before they are due. I put them on my calendar and make them a deadline and stick to it even though I know it isn't the deadline expected of me.

NINE here! Being married to my SEVEN for 36 years has really been helpful for my growth. I wholly identify with each of these items. My SEVEN watched another video about NINE and she told me it helped her understand me much better. Anyway, thanks for producing these videos. Very informative and beneficial when I "get stuck" in times of indecision or non-motivation. Much appreciated!

I am such a NINE and each of these points is spot on! I can speak from experience that ever since I learned to utilize Google calendar to organize my schedule and tasks, for both work and personal, it has been life changing! I am so much more productive.

Lol loved this! One thing I've noticed is that accountability clashes with my not liking to be pushed and getting stubborn about it.

Here for my daily dose, Dr. 7 ✅
Side note: I've found that the more I push back on the "world," the more I get crumbled by it. Your "no" counsel absolutely helped 🙏🏼.
Also, fellow 9's, something I've also learned the hard way: if you've found yourself in the company of those who use the term "chameleon" (in a certain, um "pejoratively charged" manner), congrats; you've successfully identified the people to get out of your lives (aka say: "no" to, first... or maybe keep it strictly Business-8/1-with). Empathy sure doesn't make that easy, but, whoa, does inner peace ever feel so much better than letting it fester, and becoming a far worse version of who we're trying to avoid becoming. 😉🤜🏼🤛🏼😎
Oh, & yes. I used to have a kitten. And yes. Petting her was absolutely a top priority action item on an actual real life task list 😂.

It’s great to see the “no” counsel resonating with you, and I love the kitten anecdote!

What do you mean pejoratively charged? I'm confused

@RB: I apologise, it's difficult for me to explain a lifetime of experience of saying "yes" to intentionally manipulative/machiavellian people. I'll do my best.
Story time: I once had a teacher (who, we would often confide in for advice). I asked him: "What vocation do you see me thriving in; what do you see is/are my Gift(s)?"
They responded: "I once asked my Teacher the same thing. They said: 'you're like a chameleon; before you lift your hand up, make sure the other one is attached to a branch.'"
I used to have "friends," who required everything from me (when they had their own support systems), but when the slightest bit of reciprocity (in at least-perhaps-the form of simple mutually Respectful decorum) was needed, I'd be accused of being a covert contract oriented "chameleon."
      Hope that helps 🙏🏼😎.

Can you do a video on the “dark” side of 9 (eg, passive aggressive behavior, projection of anger onto others, the silent treatment, etc)?
