I love to see your books and I love this video this video is the reason I am now a subscriber to your channel I saw some books that I have and want to make stuff out of anisole some really cool books that I haven't made anything from or don't have I've heard about you from chronically crocheting I love you cheerful wow 😲 that was a lot of books 📚📖
Welcome! Thank you so much. That’s very kind. I try to be. Crystal is a good friend so I’m glad you subscribe to her channel. Yes, I have quite a few and plan on getting more. 😂 Feel free to chat anytime. Email and IG are in every description box. Glad you liked the video.
Girl!!! You have so many books! I love the point you make books being really helpful when you're in recovery and not necessarily able to crochet. That's such a good point 😏
I watched this video for the second or third time now! I love all my books too, but admittedly I only have a bit more than half of the number you have! And I enjoy everyone’s comments about the books!
HI Shannon!! This is so great!!! So wonderful to put a face to a name! I have some of the same books! I look forward to seeing more of you on your channel! XX Kim
I loved seeing all your books and hearing your thoughts! I really agree about crochet books being for more than the patterns, being able to hold them and leaf through them and look at them is a hobby of it's own even. And you made a great point about it being theraputic when you want to engage in your crochet hobby but can't actively handle crocheting!
Thank you! This video was incredibly challenging to make. I had to make it 3x! My computer issues remember? It was a mess. Also the editing was extreme. You could have seen the theater movie version. LOL. I plan to do more book reviews in the future. It was kind of fun.
Thank you for sharing your book collection with us. I’ve been hesitant to get ebooks so was excited to see that you had several. I would be really interested in a review (pros and cons) of ebooks vs printed books. Also, I wanted to share that when I went to JoAnns a couple of weeks back, I found this book ‘Crochet You!’ By Nathalie Amiel. It’s definitely an advanced book, but so unique that I had to get it.
You're so welcome. Hope it wasn't too long. Ebooks are great, I get E-Magazine subscriptions too. Absolutely, I can do a video about that. I have seen that book! As a Spoonie I appreciate that so very much. It's on my wishlist for sure. Thank you for sharing.
I think you covered almost all of the books that are out there! It was such a joy to see you going thru all of them. Happy crocheting 🧶! P.S. I’d love to see all your other books for crocheting! Please make a video! I love books and I love crocheting!😊
The time I spend with you today was really nice, and, my book's wish list is very long now. I'm a beginner and your tip to not using always the needle they advise and to try out other sizes is really important to me 🙂. Thank you so much 💕!
Awww, this was so sweet. Thank you. Yes, don’t let the book dictate your color, yarn, or hook choices. Just remember if you change something it won’t look like the book exactly. Also if you change the yarn remember you might have to change your safety eye size as well.
I loved your video!! I would love to see some reviews on the kit books!! I half about half of the ones you have (haven’t started any projects yet) but I also want some kits that you have as well so reviews would be super helpful!!
No problem. Already in the works. Should have some kit review videos next month or so. 😊 I can do book reviews, sure. But if you want to see every pattern available in a certain book check out my friend Alice at Starlight and Stitches! She’s fantastic!!!
Oh my goodness Ophelia is precious!!! I am watching this video in sections cuz I'm not home at the moment so I might have more comments, but oh my goodness Ophelia is precious!!!
Hey girl! Rewatcher from future! Lol. We need to make zebras! Like maybe after the new year when life settles down, we could do some kinda Spoonie CAL/MAL zebra or something? Just a thought. Your videos are cheering me up during my very bad, no good, awful week 🤪 xx - Lisa 🫶🏻🧶🥄☺️
I’m glad I found your channel and I haven’t finished watching the video yet but I can already tell you that I’m a subscriber as of right now! 😂 I love your personality and can’t wait to get off work to watch the rest of your video! ❤
Definitely would love to see reviews on a lot of these books! Especially the ones that you mentioned hearing nothing about, no reviews or comments. I have been searching for a amigurumis crochet patterns reviewer and I agree starlight stitches is amazing at reviews. I wanna see more! Whatever you wanna create and review, I’ll be watching 👀👀😂♥️
Haha, well I'm glad you're up for anything on here. Who knows what the next video will be. There's so much to talk about! Book reviews are coming for sure. I have one in the works right now. Kit reviews are coming as well.
Please make something out of that crochet animal book. I have it and never made anything from it yet also. I have so many books, and yet I keep buying Etsy patterns.
Oooo excellent question. I really love the One Hour Amigurumi and the Woobles book. They are very easy simple patterns that will make you feel accomplished in a short time frame. Also any book by Lauren Espy (a menagerie of stitches) is a great one!
That sure didn't seem like 77 books 😂🧶 I added a couple to my list to get. you definitely had some I have not seen before: I hope you crochet something out of all of them 🤔❤😂
I have Mabel bunny and co, I have crocheted Mabel and the dragon . I will be getting the other two books
