Your work is wonderful you are so talented ❤❤❤ I really like that first book you showed is genius mix and match to make your own ami so smart. Thanks for the shout out 🗣on the needle felting 🤗 I have some amigurumi books and I have made things from them. Sometimes I follow the pattern and a lot of times I go off pattern and customize it. I have some books I haven't even opened yet. Personally, I pattern horde 😶‍🌫️ I am a book holder in general I have full intention of reading 📚 them. Perhaps I need to challenge myself

You have a very nice selection of books. My very first amigurumi was a knitted teddy bear which I made when I was trying to learn to knit. Then I tried crochet and stuck with it for amigurumi. The designers always use cotton which I find hard on my hands and have since turned to acrylic. It’s a fun hobby and there are so many talented people who provide and sell patterns and do tutorials that have made the hobby easier to learn and fun. Thank you for reviewing your books.

They are so much fun to make, I love seeing them come together and it always warms my heart. I use a variety of fibers for mine, all my knitted gnomes in that one video section we all fingering weight wool sock yarns. I loved your first was a knitted bear! Thank you for sharing that.

Hi Kim, just stumbled onto your channel and I am in love 🥰. Thank you so much for doing this book tag, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Most of the amigurumi makers that I know of are crocheters and it's nice to see a knitter share their amigurumi works as well. I only know of 2 other knitters who share their love of amigurumi here on RUclips. I wish I could knit toys. I tried many years ago when I first had my daughter and it was decent for a first timer. I made a ball and it's slowly unraveling because I didn't know back then how to secure my ends properly😆. Knitting didn't come easy to me so I'd much rather crochet or sew my toys. I loved seeing all your wonderful toys and your wonderous collection of knit and crochet amigurumi books. I wish I had an Ollie's because that "Knitting Toys and Dolls" book is now on my wishlist and $7 is a steal of a deal. New fan and subscriber😃 Thanks again Kim for sharing.❤

Yes! Second and Charles is a great store. I love getting the kits there for a good price.
Oh yes, I’ve made a few of those little crochet kits. They are hit or miss. Yet, I still collect them. Lol.

Thank you for joining my little yarn love community! I do love amigurumi and 2nd and Charles. I was so excited when I store opened but I am sad their fiber arts section is so small. Those little kits honesty I buy for the books, the yarns in them are always hit or miss but the patterns are easy to modify and such a good deal.

It contains 5 syllables. You have to break it down. So, the syllabication for "Amigurumi" is (a - mi - gu - ru - mi) or (ah - me - goo - roo - me). 😊

yes those are the clear 12x12x12 cubes from Target. I used them to hold yarns all by one dyer in the yarn shelves but I also use the to stack like this as a bookcase and to sorry scraps. That video was made when my yarn was in the bedroom.... but last year I built a studio - a whole 12 feet by 28 feet room just for my yarn!!
