Hello everyone! Just keep in mind that I'm always trying to find the closest thing or image to describe a certain fragrance so in the dry down, creamy sandalwood, dusty leather and lots of honey remind me of the syrup used to douse baklava with, not like the actual scent of nutts in baklava. I hope this review will be helpful!
Have you had the chance to try this new addition to the Scandal range with black fig and a bit of leather, does it sound or smell interesting to you and do you prefer it to the original? 😉😊🙃

I must try this one🔥 I own the original Scandal, but I never use it because it tickles in my throat due to the heavy honey wax smell.😞
Hi Julia! I know what you mean. The original is very pretty and sexy, but a bit hard to wear. But Scandal Absolu blew me away. I hope you'll like it and that slight leather hints in the dry down will work out for you as well. 🙃🥰

I like it. I don't smell the drydown as you described. For me it reminds me of Fame intense.
Hi, I'm so glad you like the scent. The dry down does remind me of syrup used to douse baklava with, not the actual scent of nuts since there aren't any nuts here. That honeyed sweetness smells so pretty to me. Thank you so much for your comment and have a pleasant day. ❤
Hi Miri, for me this one is way too honey heavy still , I can not smell the tuberose very much at all. Smelling any fig is impossible for me :) I wanted to like this but I think I prefer Scandal Le Parfum, in the red bottle ❤
I agree, it's very sweet in the dry down so it even becomes a bit baklava-like syrupy sweet, but it's still less sweet than the original. I like Le Parfum as well because saltiness balances the sweetness. Thanks for sharing your experience. 🌺

Hi! In the deep dry down, when leather joins the scent it has a baklava feel. Sandalwood is creamy and slightly nutty on my skin and together with dark, dusty leather and sweet honey, it creates the scent of sweet baklava crust.😉
