I have started therapy sessions and the counselor was blown away at what I've been through. The more I told my story the jaw dropped and head shook and finally I was asked how I was even Sane after 7 yrs of that kind of abuse. My answer was God saved me by giving me a light to see what was going on so I could prepare for discard (sensed it coming) as I was financially bound to the Narc. I will continue telling my story to a trusted source to continue my healing path. Once again Andrew Thank you for what you are doing to help others. You are a Pillar of Strength and will be blessed for your work. ❤😊❤

Yes, the narc relationship is insidious. I was so naive when I met him…it moved fast at first, then like Chinese water torture, drop by drop every day was the toxicity. Belittling, gaslighting, lying, manipulating, rage fits…demanding, self-centered behavior…. Before I knew it-I was running myself ragged like his servant to please him and to avoid a temper tantrum. I look back and just shake my head. He was NEVER committed to me. There was always someone waiting in the wings. He had multiple dating profiles. I still don’t know how I got to the point where I tolerated this… I remember the moment I finally knew I had to let go, that it was never going to get better. That was in October 2022, and I’m still healing from that relationship.

Try not to read any messages from them, or they will tear you to pieces. It can help to have someone else read letters, or text messages. The best thing to do is to immediately delete any messages before reading them, and to destroy and trash any letters. Always before reading them. Avoid answering phones and turn them off. Good for you for staying strong and working on your healing.

Spot on Andrew. Once you realise you are dealing with narcisists, you have to run for the hills from those people no matter who they are. They have no problem destroying other people’s lives including yours and theirs. We should have nothing to do with them. They are driven by fear, greed, envy, negativity and darkness. They believe in power, dominance, control and abuse instead of love, truth, joy and peace. Walking away is the only path and once you understand there was nothing you could do you are set free.

My husband brought me a “can” of chicken soup , literally when I was sick in bed for a week; and he is a physician/surgeon. I, too, had helped him through more illnesses and surgeries than I can count.
I bought him an iPhone $1500 for Christmas a few years ago. He used it to find his new supply, used it to call the police to evict me. What an irony.... But in a way it is bringing my freedom....
It sounds like it was money well spent. In future relationships, I'd suggest that you do not need to spend that kind of money on someone who loves you. Maybe, $40.00 to $100.00 is plenty. Adults should purchase their own phones. I was happily married for many years. I wish you a better relationship, down the road, after you have fully healed.

Journaling helped me get started on the healing path, I would listen to Andrew’s video and write whatever came to mind as well as taking some notes from his message as it related to my experiences. Remember healing is not linear, be patient with yourself. You are out of the toxic web! 💜
I'm in my 10th month. I completely understand the message and checked all the boxes on the negative experiences and although I generally feel better some times are still sluggish. But I know I'm much better off armed with the great information that Andrew provides. I even cut off a narcissistic friendship off. She keeps texting asking wth but I will not respond. I was her ATM for well over a decade
I spent years wondering what I did to deserve his abuse. It was exhausting. My self-esteem was completely shattered. Slowly healing now, but to be honest, I don't think I'll trust again.
When you realise you'll NEVER get the respect or love you really deserve , when you realise they never wanted you to be truly happy , when you realise your instinct was ALWAYS right , you finally ACCEPT that it's an endless game and you will NEVER win ! I was stuck paying for all bills and being a servant then he called the police to evict me because I was in his way of dating his current supply. I am so glad I am out. It has been 6 months I still need to settle the court case and I am still paying for all bills. I need to get rid of the trauma bond but I am committed to healing and coming out stronger than ever, thank you Andrew for your wisdom!

This is 100% true and spot on. Sadly I just witnessed first hand out of my own mistake, just how heartless and viciously spiteful my now again ex narc is. Getting over these relationships takes work and TIME. It’s like grieving after the death of a loved one, only this person isn’t dead so it’s a weird grief - but it does get better. The sadness or anger still can hit very strong, but it will begin to happen less often over time. Hang in there everyone! It gets better.

The narcissist I know lives on the dating apps. Total control of everything around him and the people he hangs with only see him a few times a year on vacations. So he can hide behind the mask. Non romantic but textbook narcissist.
I gained the wisdom I got to the mountain top of indifference, but I had to pick Humpty Dumpty up and put her back together again! I had to move cities, change my job, start over 1 foot in front of the other one day at a time. Go through the process it works. Keep on keeping on. It might take years like it did for me, but it took me 20 years to leave my narcissist. Now I want to write a book.
Andrew could you do a video about some is that crazy ploys the CNPD’s use to get attention? My mom is a CNPD who uses the flatearth ploy denying physics, she pretends to be “the victim” of 5g cellular which she claims is ionizing radiation (it’s obviously not), and she went so far down the victimhood rabbit hole and she is now s “sovereign citizen” which means she pretends our laws don’t apply to her because of her narcissism and when the police enforce our laws she pretends to be “the victim” of the police. We are estranged.
@ she is also the victim of “Chemtrails” and even after I got my pilots license and offered to explain aircraft weight & balance to her she refused to learn because to her earth is flat so I must be wrong. I’m the family scapegoat, my twin bro is her codependent golden child because he is also a narcissist and. Sovereign Citizen. Narcissism is contagious generationally.

I ended up living alone in the US. For the next fifteen years .On the brink of getting my Ph.D. from the University of Michigan my family in Italy started shunning me, my husband did not want me back in Ohio because of the mess caused by the narcisistic guy, so I told my professor I would not take my exams, I saw no purpose in my life at the time..
This Christmas has been horrible. It started when my grown kids spent Thanksgiving with my ex and his new wife. They have been mean to me. I don't know what was said but they have lost all respect for me. I have no idea what to say or do.
Hold your head up. Stay calm. Now is the time to put yourself 1st, 2nd & 3rd, & especially keep visiting Andrew & the community, even after the fog wears off. Feel the nonjudgemental acceptance you get from this channel. We are all here with you, & for you.
I am about to heal. My narcissistic friend/love-interest stopped paying her apartment 3 months ago and did not tell me. From then to now she has left clothes here after her tantrums signifying she wants to move in. I have always demonstratively given hur back her stuff. So she started hating me and going full psyko, spiking my drinks with drugs, pushing all my buttons and eventually dropping amphetamines in my dogs drinking water, by pure luck, the dog survived. Now after a time of anger I am full no contact and if she comes to me after losing her home in 3 days I Will call the cops. In 3 days when I say the final nothing or no, if she forces contact (I live on the bottom floor). Then I Will be free.
Be very careful how you end things with her. She sounds extremely dangerous. If possible, use excuses like you have to work late or on weekends so she thinks your distancing is beyond your control. Trust me, as a woman myself, this will make her feel like the relationship is not as much within her control. You may even say that your job may be relocating and you may need to move to another city far away. Try to end this gently and gradually with minimal physical contact. Women produce oxytocin and it creates an extremely strong bond.
For normal people, it is very overwelmed to hear the abuse we had to go throug. Also for the therapist it is heavy. I stay much time alone to heal, i can not tell the horreble stories, radicale aceptence is the goal fineley.

Being his personal cheer leader. Yes, I lost me and I didn't realize it but I was so very sad as what I missed was Me! No friends, no family just him. I am now breathing again, no contact is vital. When the thoughts come to me that maybe it wasn't that bad and maybe he really did love me. I just say it was all an illusion. I say this out loud. I look in the mirror and tell myself that I am going to take care of myself. I am taking care of myself in all ways. Thank you again Andrew! Yes, of all of them, this was the hardest moment of realisation. Although it was a long time before I understood narcissism but I knew I’d done all I could and there was nothing more. So in some ways it was also the moment of liberation - From that point till the final discard, I was working on my exit strategy so I had somewhere to go and could get out with as little more damage as possible.
That's exactly it. The following day after undergoing biopsies, he discarded me after over three decades and blew our family apart.....doing so much better now 2.10 years out. God is good and coming back to listen to Andrew has been integral to me healing my broken heart.

If I had a redo which of course I don’t I wouldn’t have wasted my life w someone who doesn’t care can’t care and never will care. We have 4 children he doesn’t care about them either. It’s overwhelming when u realize the truth. Mb young ppl today have more access to information at younger age bc of social media/ internet etc. I even went to therapy yrs back and pretty much learned nothing…..therapist didn’t really help me when I look back. My husband wouldn't take me to the hospital when I was pregnant and couldn't walk. I helped him and cared for him so many times.

So similar to my drug addiction which gave me an illusion of feeling love but progressively got worse and almost killed me , the healing journey is very similar.

And then when you are alone, you wonder what is the cause of your dissatisfaction. Why does it seem to you that you live miserably, but you are killing yourself with work and activities? You simply forgot about the one from whom everything comes and to whom everything goes. You forgot yourself.
The world won't end if you turn off your cell phone today. If you're sitting on the couch, cover yourself with a blanket and pick up the book you've been wanting to read for so long. Who do you think will build your monuments? When you lose yourself, few people will actually cry. But there will probably be some. Let go of what people said you had to. Life has no replay. You only have today and take a moment for yourself. Understand, you need that more than anything.

I'm in my 10th month. I completely understand the message and checked all the boxes on the negative experiences and although I generally feel better some times are still sluggish. But I know I'm much better off armed with the great information that Andrew provides. I even cut off a narcissistic friendship off. She keeps texting asking wth but I will not respond. I was her ATM for well over a decade
I spent years wondering what I did to deserve his abuse. It was exhausting. My self-esteem was completely shattered. Slowly healing now, but to be honest, I don't think I'll trust again.

I was stuck paying for all bills and being a servant then he called the police to evict me because I was in his way of dating his current supply. I am so glad I am out. It has been 6 months I still need to settle the court case and I am still paying for all bills. I need to get rid of the trauma bond but I am committed to healing and coming out stronger than ever, thank you Andrew for your wisdom!

This is 100% true and spot on. Sadly I just witnessed first hand out of my own mistake, just how heartless and viciously spiteful my now again ex narc is. And I made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt. Thankfully I was never both feet in and can always remind myself through Andrew's posts that the only mistake I made was caring too much about someone who wouldn't do the same for me. Getting over these relationships takes work and TIME. It’s like grieving after the death of a loved one, only this person isn’t dead so it’s a weird grief - but it does get better. The sadness or anger still can hit very strong, but it will begin to happen less often over time. Hang in there everyone! It gets better.

The narcissist I know lives on the dating apps. Total control of everything around him and the people he hangs with only see him a few times a year on vacations. So he can hide behind the mask. Non romantic but textbook narcissist.
I gained the wisdom I got to the mountain top of indifference, but I had to pick Humpty Dumpty up and put her back together again! I had to move cities, change my job, start over 1 foot in front of the other one day at a time. Go through the process it works. Keep on keeping on. It might take years like it did for me, but it took me 20 years to leave my narcissist. Now I want to write a book.

My mom is a CNPD who uses the flatearth ploy denying physics, she pretends to be “the victim” of 5g cellular which she claims is ionizing radiation (it’s obviously not), and she went so far down the victimhood rabbit hole and she is now s “sovereign citizen” which means she pretends our laws don’t apply to her because of her narcissism and when the police enforce our laws she pretends to be “the victim” of the police. We are estranged.

For the next fifteen years .On the brink of getting my Ph.D. from the University of Michigan my family in Italy started shunning me, my husband did not want me back in Ohio because of the mess caused by the narcisistic guy, so I told my professor I would not take my exams, I saw no purpose in my life at the time..

This Christmas has been horrible. It started when my grown kids spent Thanksgiving with my ex and his new wife. They have been mean to me. I don't know what was said but they have lost all respect for me. I have no idea what to say or do.

I am about to heal. My narcissistic friend/love-interest stopped paying her apartment 3 months ago and did not tell me. From then to now she has left clothes here after her tantrums signifying she wants to move in. I have always demonstratively given hur back her stuff. So she started hating me and going full psyko, spiking my drinks with drugs, pushing all my buttons and eventually dropping amphetamines in my dogs drinking water, by pure luck, the dog survived.
Now after a time of anger I am full no contact and if she comes to me after losing her home in 3 days I Will call the cops.
In 3 days when I say the final nothing or no, if she forces contact (I live on the bottom floor). Then I Will be free.
Be very careful how you end things with her. She sounds extremely dangerous. If possible, use excuses like you have to work late or on weekends so she thinks your distancing is beyond your control. Trust me, as a woman myself, this will make her feel like the relationship is not as much within her control. You may even say that your job may be relocating and you may need to move to another city far away. Try to end this gently and gradually with minimal physical contact. Women produce oxytocin and it creates an extremely strong bond.
For normal people, it is very overwelmed to hear the abuse we had to go throug. Also for the therapist it is heavy. I stay much time alone to heal, i can not tell the horreble stories, radicale aceptence is the goal fineley.

Being his personal cheer leader. Yes, I lost me and I didn't realize it but I was so very sad as what I missed was Me! No friends, no family just him. I am now breathing again, no contact is vital. When the thoughts come to me that maybe it wasn't that bad and maybe he really did love me. I just say it was all an illusion. I say this out loud. I look in the mirror and tell myself that I am going to take care of myself. I am taking care of myself in all ways. Thank you again Andrew! Yes, of all of them, this was the hardest moment of realisation. Although it was a long time before I understood narcissism but I knew I’d done all I could and there was nothing more. So in some ways it was also the moment of liberation - From that point till the final discard, I was working on my exit strategy so I had somewhere to go and could get out with as little more damage as possible.
That's exactly it. The following day after undergoing biopsies, he discarded me after over three decades and blew our family apart.....doing so much better now 2.10 years out. God is good and coming back to listen to Andrew has been integral to me healing my broken heart.
I had a narcissist demolish my support system before starting in on me. Pausing a moment, to think I had this happen more than once. It's a typical narcissist move.

Mb young ppl today have more access to information at younger age bc of social media/ internet etc. I even went to therapy yrs back and pretty much learned nothing…..therapist didn’t really help me when I look back.
