I recently flew with United with my husband and baby daughter. When we checked in, the tickets listed my husband as the baby. Then for our other flights on the trip, there was no ticket for my baby, and then 2 tickets for 2 babies. I thought I had royally messed up when booking, but then I checked my booking receipt. Nope...2 adults and 1 baby, with me and my husband as the adults and my daughter as the baby. I have no idea what happened.... Luckily, basically every service person I spoke to was super helpful and fixed everything, and we still made it to our destination.
OMG, The staff on United are so standoffish! I hate flying this airline and the flights are ALWAYS delayed. Like, their tickets are not cheap and they cant even take off on time and then to get crappy service from the cabin crew...no thank you.
I flew Spirit once. Never again! The conveyor belt got stuck when I was waiting for my luggage and the attendant on the other side just stood there. Everyone was trying to get him to do something so finally one of the passengers said, "Hey, if you're not going to do anything I can help you out buddy." Still nothing so the passenger hopped up there and started pulling peoples' luggage on to the conveyor belt and he was doing a great job! We were all so grateful!
Here I am from Latin America, the service in the US is considered amazing to us and usually entirely “too much”. In most of South America the people working in service will refuse to say hello or bye and usually not make eye contact. In fact eating right in front of you, using their phone or if they’re outside smoking a cigarette is completely normal. Don’t expect a smile, unless they literally want to go on a date with you. Edit: unless it’s one of those resorts catered exclusively to foreigners…
I think American customer service is only good when they work for tips. I’m a foreigner working here and feel that restaurant customer service is over the top, but anywhere else there’s lots of rude workers
United is 100% accurate 😂😂😂. I went to pick up my sister at the airport and they changed the terminal while I was waiting. I asked someone from united how to get to the other terminal and he gave the nastiest look like I was bothering him during his dinner/break time or something and told me to read the signs.
Man this hits home. I just flew not to long ago. The lady was chilling and I walked up to her and somehow I inconvenienced her to do her job. I was confused. I was like did I miss something
Japan airlines made me feel like I was in business class when I was in economy! I took them for an international flight and didn’t realize airplane food could be good. About cried all the way home when my flight back was American 😂
OMG this is so accurate!!!!!! The first time I flew Japan Airlines I was treated like royalty. And they take special care of your luggage. I dont know if Frontier is still in service. But, Oct 2019, I was on a Delta flight and had to transfer on Frontier Airlines(I think its owned by Spirit Airlines). It was the worst service!! I paid First Class for my flights. They tried to charge me double on baggage fees. My seat was first row. But there was no First class service. It was a long flight. No food nothing. No access to a movie nothing. My laptop battery had died and I couldn't charge it. My seat companion chuckled and said "first flight? " . Then he pulled out food, drinks etc from his carry on. I noticed the seasoned Frontier fliers had their food like they were all invited to a picnic!
Pretty much all the top-ranking airlines are Asia-Pacific or Arab. My home airline is Air New Zealand and I was blasé about JAL because I was already used to awesomeness from Air New Zealand workers.
I’ve been all over the world and my least favorite airport BY FAR is Shanghai. Customs can take 3+ hours, they have 3 different layers of security checkpoints with very strict rules just to transfer, and I always get screamed at in Chinese at each one. One time, I even witnessed them scream at an elderly woman for walking too slow for them. American airports are a pain, but it could be worse.
Absolutely! Nit just the workers either. I was in on a work trip and went to a store at 5am for coffee. A random man came up and explained how to use the coffee machine and told me to enjoy his country with a beaming smile on his face. It was clear he felt proud of his home and wanted me to enjoy it. And I did. It may have just been work, but I was still impacted greatly. I'll always remember Japan fondly.
I may have to move there since I am very respectful and take care of other people's things. I had an experience with people in Japan as well (long story) and all of them were extremely nice.
You totally nailed that one! As a corporate travel agent from time to time I would get requests to not book certain carriers due to their fees and/or baggage handling nuances. 😂
Her facial expression do it for me & the paper Lee press on nails then hit us with talking the language properly God blessed her with a talent that brings smiles to us all respect sista 🤜🏽🤛🏽🙏🏽
I can relate to the experience with the rude united attendant at the check-in. I had a horrible experience with United in Cancun. I was speaking Spanish with the attendant and she would only speak English to me even though she could speak Spanish -I knew this cause I heard her talking to other passengers in Spanish before and after me. She was very rude, not helpful, and never answered my question. She was much nicer to the Hispanic passengers who weren't fair skinned like I am.
Its not the employees fault in many cases, but if you make them work harder for less and no good benefits then you get what you pay for... well United Customers anyways. Every customer should complain to Corporate about their issues... but I guess United doesn't give a shit, nor does Spirit
This is actually a really weird problem. When I lived in san antonio I would get so many people who didn’t speak english so i put in a massive effort to learn spanish and learn it well. Many people were grateful especially when they could not speak english! However there were those oddballs who were very possessive of their language and refused to speak anything other than english to me. They acted like I peed in their cheerios.
When I flew with JAL, it wasn't the cheapest ticket price, but it was 100% worth it - and it probably worked out cheaper than the budget airlines. Everything was included in my ticket price - food, unlimited drinks, a generous baggage allowance, etc. Also, when there was a delay on the way home, they paid for *everything* (none of this "you have to pay and claim it back later" nonsense) and I didn't have to chase anything. When they announced the delay, they also announced what they were doing about it. When I looked at what was covered by the cheaper tickets from other airlines, it was a false economy - because I would have paid more with them for the ticket plus extras (food, baggage, etc), than I paid for my "everything included" ticket with JAL... And the service was a thousand times better! 😎 Safe journey to Japan - hope you enjoy your trip 😊
My nephew flew United recently and they didn't give attitude, just not welcoming. I've been in customer service jobs and we were trained to smile while speaking on the phone, because the customer hears it. I give great customer service because of my training, personality, and God's Word says to work as if you are working for Him. Every customer deserves good treatment, no matter how much you are getting paid or if you are having personal problems there. Work is work and customers ultimately keep you in that job.
Hmm you’re half right imo. I’ve been in cust svc for 10+ years and actually worked for United and ended up quitting that job cause as much money as I was making the stress to deal with dumb fkn ppl was not worth it. I’m very profesional, like you smile thru the phone and treat everybody with the out most respect but humans are the fkn worst man. One out of ten ppl calling was normal the rest were rude ass ppl talking down to employees, acting stupid and giving us attitude over us doing our job. Customer service employees should be getting pay way more bc that’s one of the hardest job to do. People wake up feeling miserable and call to complaint about the pettiest shit ever and take all their frustration on the poor employees who’s are getting paid 10 an hour at an electric company. And ppl are calling them screaming on their ear taking down to them over the pettiest thing. Every single person that calls any company FOR HELP with their stupid shit need to respect the ppl they’re talking too. They work for the company, they’re not your personal assistant and they’re not your slaves. Humans in general need to be respectful.
@ThePrincessfunk yes, people are crazy and many have different reasons, but everytime an upset one yelled at me, I never took it personally because I knew why they were upset. I would listen, empathize, and said I would do everything in my power to help. That always deescalated everything. Now airlines?? These people ARE stressed to 100% and maybe customer service needs more patience because I can only imagine how crazy they would get traveling to be somewhere. It's like those dumb women who turn bridezilla just because they are gonna get married. Stress does some awful stuff to people. I've been on both sides. If I were to take on heavy cust. svc again, I would take some anger mngmnt classes and maybe look into those people who speak to the ones who takes hostages. Customer service is hard, even cashiering hahha, but in my experience there's been only a few really bad ones, which I would have to go to my supervisor and have them deal with it. I don't know, it's helped me to have compassion for people. Really rudes ones are just plain rude and just try to dispatch them as quickly as possible hahhah

@@nodobohoNo that’s not the point. Grocery store receipts have long receipts because you buy a lot of things. CVS receipts being long is a meme. You buy a pack of gum and get a three foot long receipt.

😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Spirit would charge you for the air you breathe on the plane if they could!
I feel like spirit is scamming people with lowers prices because they reel you in with additional fees to the point where you haven’t saved anything.🤨
The CVS receipt as a luggage tag was hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣 Her Japanese was actually excellent!! I’ve been to Japan and this was accurate!
She's half-Japanese.
I knew she was half Japanese but never knew she spoke Japanese. So awesome! I went to Japan and before I left I tried to learn some and only knew like four phrases. So difficult to learn!
@siewitnessnews oh wow really! How fabulous I did not know that. She is wonderful!
Oh my goodness I didn't know I could love/respect this lady any more than I already did!
She looks half Asian. Thanks for confirming my suspicions😊
Between this skit & the other “Spirit” skit she did where they didn’t have a pilot & asking for volunteers both had me dyin with her expressions!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can you please help me find the other skit you are mentioning?
The “no pilot-need volunteers” was an SNL skit I believe.
Actually my bad, she does have a skit with no pilot , it’s in her Tik Tok account.
Just got off a late frontier flight today. It was late because they literally said they didnt have any pilots currently to fly the plane.😅😅
But the nails!!!😂😂😂
You are so much fun...keeping it coming!
I flew first class on United not too long ago and they were really acting like I was bothering them. So this is pretty accurate.
Thank you good to know because I though it was only black ppl being horrid to each other.
But I still don’t understand why ??😢
That's because those countries are Third World cultures; and since they all come here, America is turning into that.
Your comedic talent & insight apparently know no bounds!! You are SUCH a hoot, and tell the truth!😂😂😂😂 Thanks for keeping us chuckling ❤️
She should have her own stand up show.
Agreed!! 👏🏽
United getting called out tho sent me 😂😂
Guess Japan is my next vacation destination 🤷🏻♀️
United is 100% accurate 😂😂😂. I went to pick up my sister at the airport and they changed the terminal while I was waiting. I asked someone from united how to get to the other terminal and he gave the nastiest look like I was bothering him during his dinner/break time or something and told me to read the signs.
😂😂 Classy!!
Last minute gate assignment changes are mostly the airport’s fault.
FRONTIER IS IN SERVICE STILL
On point for United. We were flying 1st class and they still treat us just like that. 🤣🤣🤣
Me too! Unreal!
Thats not United workers that is minimal wage 3rd party company. 😅
The Japanese airlines are always great and some of the Arab ones are also very nice.
Pretty much all the top-ranking airlines are Asia-Pacific or Arab. My home airline is Air New Zealand and I was blasé about JAL because I was already used to awesomeness from Air New Zealand workers.
Pretty much anyone not American will treat you like a human.
As an American can confirm. People’s behavior has gone so far downhill here, it’s very sad. 😢
Now I want to go to Japan even more. So much pride in everything they do.
Her facial expression do it for me & the paper Lee press on nails then hit us with talking the language properly God blessed her with a talent that brings smiles to us all respect sista
🤜🏽🤛🏽🙏🏽
I get it.
I'm going to Japan in the fall. I might have to take this airline. Your take on Spirit was hilarious. United's prices tell you they're bougie.
Safe journey to Japan - hope you enjoy your trip 😊
My nephew flew United recently and they didn't give attitude, just not welcoming. I've been in customer service jobs and we were trained to smile while speaking on the phone, because the customer hears it. I give great customer service because of my training, personality, and God's Word says to work as if you are working for Him. Every customer deserves good treatment, no matter how much you are getting paid or if you are having personal problems there. Work is work and customers ultimately keep you in that job.
God bless your heart! You said it all❤
Preach!
👏👏👏 All this right here for sure!
Imagine having to buy a piece of gum at CVS for this skit. The dedication! 😂
I have missed seeing you. So happy you are enjoying yourself in Japan.😘
Tokyo International was vastly cleaner, more professional etc. than anywhere in the States.
That is Japan for real!!! I was like👀👀... yall happy to be at work or real good at being pleasant anyhow. Omg...spot on....then I had to come back to eyeballs rolling and what not😂😂😂
You have the “Khloe K nails” even the one missing too 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No but seriously!!! Traveled to Japan last month and it was such an amazing experience. The check in for my United flight in San Francisco vs Osaka were definitely night and day 💀😂
YES! JUST... YES! 100000%
I'm not gonna vent on here, but I have stories. Love Japan.
LMAO, #1 is why we stopped buying expensive suitcases for travel.
Another pro tip, get lost baggage insurance when going international to places whr your shit is worth anything.
PS : Luv you dance moves
Honestly, I just fit all my stuff into carry on so that I’m the one handling my stuff.
LOL LMAO! So true. Anybody who has flown outside of the country knows the truth of this. Cheers!
Funny part is she probably had no clue what the young lady in Japan's airlines said and still got way better service.
She was speaking Japanese😉
@msphil4life ope I didn't even realize 🙄🤣 thats even better 👏✨️
Facts!!! As someone who has worked at an airport for the last fifteen years, I can wholeheartedly concur with this clip. I’m interested to see how accurate you would be with portraying other airlines 😂
😂🙌🤣✋Baby Girl is a natural 😂 imitation coordination and a very good singer and dancer ❤❤ I know it’s all in fun , you are very good at being funny 😄
1,000% accurate 😂
Yes, a couple of years ago, me and my mom flew out to Phoenix, and the United lady just threw my suitcase on to the belt 😮
First of all, you can give the most stern “Don’t you dare” looks that scare even me. 😁. But the first one with the attitude and throwing the bag and the one with those awful nails, oh my gosh that’s hysterical.
Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines that I've experienced, are just as professional too.
I love flying with Singapore Airlines!
Thank you very much.. SQ🎉yea
And Air New Zealand. They’re equally as nice as JAL workers but they have more freedom and that results in kind of a more unabashed niceness.
The Japan Airlines one was like ASMR, lol.
OMG! So true about Spirit Airlines! I only tried them once & I don't plan on using them again because they charge for everything. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
You’re so talented. No matter what you’re doing in a video it’s always super enjoyable to watch
United is dead to me after kicking that family off because their 2-year-old and the mask thing. Unconscionable.
Oh yeah, that was absolutely disgusting of them! I was livid!
@partylikeanavatar clearly you've never raised a baby/toddler so maybe not something to speak on
@@partylikeanavatarthis comment is the most ignorant thing. Are you serious or just trolling 😂
Well the parents should have been more forceful and made the toddler comply. Just because she was 2 doesnt exempt her from FAA regulations.
@@partylikeanavatar Exactly! If you are the parent then be the parent! Its so crazy how some parents today absolutely let thier children completely dictate all of the rules and the parent comply as though they are helpless. I totally agree they are 100% embarrassing and 100% why many of the youth today are out of control.
Her “nails” had me 🤣
You are a hoot and I just know I will see you on SNL in the near future or better than that have your own show.
Your attention to detail and hilarious improvisations are incomparable. Not to mention your facial expressions while not cracking yourself up in the process is 🤯😅
Super accurate. U also have AA canceling flights and/or sending u to opposite side of ur destination. I had a wedding in Temecula CA, they wanted to replace my flight to one for San Francisco CA😅
note to self: if possible, use Japan Airlines...
Are you fluent in Japanese?
By the way I love your videos
You speak Japanese?!?! That’s dope.
Have to love the “Lovely, sir” British Airways attitude 😁
this chic’s expressions are priceless.
Daaaamn, this girl is just so clever.
Look, as a Frontier agent, I do NOT want to charge you all those extra fees, and anytime I can avoid doing so, I will. I always apologize for having to just do my job, I just wish folks would be kinder is all. If you’re as emotional as me, you either get so beaten down by being yelled at that you become bitter and uncaring like everyone else, or it drains you emotionally to the point of quitting (Likely the latter for me, but I’m still new, so we’ll see). I will agree that Korean Air is just a new level of classy, I love it!
You have made me laugh so many times!❤
If the girl with the yellow talons would have patted her weave I would have died laughing.
🤔
That is hilarious and spot on!! 😂😂 Thank you for making me Smile!! ❤
There is NOTHING this woman does that isn’t worth watching!!! ❤❤
Spot on. All of it 🤣
Yesterday, my son arrived home (Sweden) after spending 6 months in Japan. The landing won't be smooth, culturally. They didn't even lock the doors where he lived in Tokyo.
Yeah, my reverse culture shock of coming back to the States after years in Japan was 1000X worse than any initial culture shock I had moving to Japan. The States are roooough in comparison, people have no more manners, patience, etiquette, anything left here anymore. 😢
This is so real... pretty much all happened to me. The Japanese airlines workers really have such graciousness and care about them!!!
Singapore 🇸🇬 airlines i hear is great, and the flight attendants always look so impressive and orderly when I they pass by at terminal
Japan airlines gave me the best airplane food ever and I’m vegan!
I always bring my own snacks/food or I usually just starve but not on their watch ❤️❤️❤️
I lived in Japan for 2 years and can confirm. ALL their customer service is the best

I was flying to Amsterdam during COVID and we were supposed to fly into NYC from LA. Let me tell you, the hurdles and registrations and just lack of information from the airlines on what we needed to fly was insane. We had to do a pre registration then another one for NYC, then ANOTHER one just to leave. All that on top of 24 hours max for your covid test. It was so bad, and the web sites kept crashing where we had to register, we almost just said lets wait a day and do it all tomorrow, but our Covid tests would have expired, so we went on British Airways. They asked us for our vaccination card and passport and that was it! All airlines in America are trash.
OMG…YOU NAILED IT! Especially United and their L.A. based flight crew, out of LAX! 😂
