One piece is a crazy awesome show and does insanely well on reaction channels but it is a super long term project to start watching and the first episodes are literally from 1999, with 1000+ episodes thats how long it takes lol. I started one piece somewhere around 2008-9 and have been watching weekly ever since
Im just caught up with one piece in 1 month 15 days i started in last February and finished in starting aprill that was really awesome jurney the best anime i ever scene
It's usually harder for people to get into it because it has too many episodes, same happened for me but I didn't regret it once I dig into it deeper, got me quite hooked. Basically One Piece is a treasure left by previous Pirate King, and our MC Luffy with the straw hat wants to find it and become the next pirate king. While he gathers crew for journey, they all have their own dreams but decide to go together with Luffy to fulfill them, and each is badass in their own way. Won't spoil their powers or traits, but it's definitely worth watching them grew from one arc to another. Plus yeah, the diversity of characters and races is insanely huge in OP.
Been a weekly reader/viewer of the manga and anime for well over 10 years now, I believe. It's one of the best fictional series ever, and honestly the best for me at least xD It's quite long, but by the end of it you'd wish you have more to watch :D Definitely a must try
I was also hesitating first but when I started it I seriously completed it in nearly 2 weeks.and now I am thinking why did I completed it too fast. Its my top1 favourite anime in my life.
The start of the video said it best, you needed to pay a little bit more attention, so here it is again. Wealth, fame, power, there was a Pirate named Gold Roger who attained everything the world had to offer, when he was executed, his last words were "My Treasure? If you want it, you can have it, I left everything this world has to offer there". And so, Pirates around the world took to sea, in search for the treasure, starting the Great Pirate Era. One Piece takes place in a world bigger than our own, around the size of our Sun according to Eiichiro Oda, One Piece creator, and is mostly water with one big super continent that makes a ring around it, dividing it in two, but, perpendicular to that continent called the Red Line, there is a stretch of ocean called The Grand Line which is full of crazy natural phenomena, further dividing the world in 4 great oceans, North Blue, East Blue, South Blue and West Blue. Gold Roger is the only person who has fully explored the Grand Line, as there's only one real point of entry to it, a place called Reverse Mountain and from there, the only way is to move forward. There is no easy escape or entry to the Grand Line, as the ocean has two other smaller stretches' of ocean parallel to it called The Calm Belt, which is filled to the brim with gigantic sea creatures and has no currents of air or sea. And so, all the Pirates of the world travel the Grand Line, moving from island to island, looking for the end of it, and whoever claims the mysterious treasure only known as One Piece, will become the King of the Pirates, that's the goal of the main protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy. Also, the world has superpowers that can be obtained by eating what is called a Devil Fruit with the weakness of having "the ocean hate you" which means, if you enter a body of water, the user of the fruit loses their strength and usually drowns sinking to the ocean, our protagonist ate the one called Gum-Gum Fruit, which makes him a Rubber Man, and that's not just "oh he can stretch", his entire body is made of rubber, bones, blood vessels, organs, everything, this makes him inmune to normal blows and his weakness being blades and stabs. And finally, yes, there's been two special episodes with crossovers from other animes, one with Toriko and the other with Toriko and Dragon Ball. One Piece is one of the greatest stories of our time, fully recommended.
Wait, Oda said the OP world is the size of the sun? Do you have a source for that? Because if it's true, it shows that Oda must not have realized just how much bigger the sun is than the Earth. Setting aside the physical impossibility of a planet that size existing (because it's not like physics matters in OP), you could forget about circumnavigating it on a wind-powered ship within a single human lifetime, let alone just a few years like Luffy has now nearly done.
To be honest.. I could try to answer your questions... or i could recommend the video "the appeal of one piece: where to start" where a lot of your questions are being answered.. 🤷🏻♀️ Edit: there are no seasons, only arcs. It's always the same journey on the same path (only the islands and landmasses are different)
I like "the appeal of one piece" videos, but there's some opinion by the author of the video that are just wrong. Ditching the anime as if was subpar, there's definitely a evolution of the animation of One Piece, you can even see in this video. Imagine how much cost to make 1000 episodes of a anime, even if you low ball it to a low budge it would cost $ 300~ thousand, a good animation would cost 1 million or even more for episodes, well guess with inflation the number would rise even more, anyway, the point is.. It cost hundreds of millions of dollars, even if you divided in 20+ years, it still a lot of money to invest. I cringe so hard when he says "masses of filler", without even acknowledging that most of filler until half of the series are pretty decent. Maybe the New World filler are bad, and that's true. Instead of equalizing 'masses of filler', who watched Naruto before would be totally frighten by his declaration since Naruto had like a few years of filler in the anime. Totally not the case in One Piece that are just mini-arcs of a few episodes between arcs or sagas, so the anime doesn't catch up with the manga. There's episodes that are bad animate? Sure. But you know what is another true that he didn't say? There's a project for years now remastering One Piece episodes, I'm pretty sure they have ended East Blue Saga, not even recently. Who knows what episode they are in right now? I would also appreciate a high-end animation, but is just not possible atm, maybe in the future. The author of the video say stuff as if Oda himself didn't watch the anime, LOL. He marry the voice actor of Nami and is friends with all the main-cast voice actors. Even the song that Brook sing about Nekomamushi, and the name of the character too, came from the Voice Actor of Brook, he made it for his decease Cat that was call Nekomamushi, and Oda incorporated in the manga because he like the song. A huge mistake and disservice to the One Piece Community recommending people to not watch the anime, sure, buy the manga, give Oda money IRL if you can, but say that the anime is garbage and move swiftly along? LOL.
"Its looks like it about pirates... a little bit..." Ah laugh so hard that i cried. Yes, it is about pirates. 90-95% of earth surface is water. And at the start you have backstory to whole thing. There was a guy, a pirate. Which amassed the greatest treasures etc in the world. He was truly a pirate king (because he was the best of them, not because pirates have a monarchy). But he was captured and sent to his death. Before his death, however, he said that he hid all his riches "there" (grand line, the largest ocean in the world). And anyone can take it if they want. Which resulted in everyone wanting to get these treasures. And so began the "great age of pirates". There is no magic as such. But there are several types of power. And technologies that can resemble magic (e.g. a string summoning wind) The most important type of power in this world is the devilish fruit. If you eat such a fruit, sea water will be your enemy. If you fall into the water, you will drown and it will drain you of your strength. But in return you will gain some power. Random power. Absurdly random. For example, you have seen a person capable of turning into fire. But there is also a person who can fire a slowing beam. Or a person who can change into a human. 500 episodes which seasons is this? first season.
I feel like the best genre description of One Piece is an adventure, action, comedy built on miles of tragedy. The present is generally pretty fun, but Oda really said everyone gets a tragic backstory that we will inform the viewers of in gratuitous detail.
The animation changed a lot because of the times, One Piece came out in 1999, so it's animations were 1999, and through out the 2000s, it's animation changed to suite the time we're in. The Main Character of One Piece is named "Monkey D Luffy", the guy with the green hair is Luffy's first Crew Mate, his name is "Roronoa Zoro", I'm not gonna name all the members of his crew, but the guy with the Fire Ability is Luffy's brother, not by blood, but by oath, his brother's name is "Porquas D Ace" (I think I spelt that wrong), Ace died protecting Luffy. But yeah Luffy have traveled to many Islands with different cultures, their are many races in One Piece like "Humans, Fishmen, Skypieans, Minks, Cyborg, Giants, etc..", the Abilities you see in One Piece are not magic, there are multiple abilities, but the main abilities are abilities obtained from eating specific fruits called "Devil Fruits", in eating one of these fruits, you lose the ability to swim, and you can only eat one Devil Fruit. There are 3 types of Devil Fruits, there's the Zoan Type, Logia Type and Paramecia Type. The Zoan Type Devil Fruits grant the ability to transform into various things. The Logia Type Devil Fruits grant the abilities of Elements, such as becoming Fire, Magma, Smoke, Light, Lightning, Ice and due to them becoming elements, they cannot be harmed from physical attacks. The Paramecia Type Devil Fruits grant abilities ranging from becoming rubber to being able to create barriers, this type of fruit grant unpredictable powers. There is a lot to explain and if I were to explain everything, this would become a 5 Page Essay.
Let me explain one piece. The first few episodes are fun The 30th episode gets you hooked The 37th episode is "DAAAAAMN!!!!!!!" The next episodes are a roller coaster And just when you thought it couldn't get better, you're damn wrong. It exceeds your expectations. Do yourself a favor pls. There's a saying "We'll be waiting for you in Wano" Wano is the latest arc btw.
One Piece is just amazing! It has everything from adventure to comedy action, emotions to almost every aspect of fiction, been watching it for more than 5 years (caught up to the anime in 2017 and been watching/reading weekly since) and I've watched around 50 anime but One Piece is still my favourite. The characters and their sad backstories, the story, the mysteries, the world-building, the fights and flashbacks are all really enjoyable and makes me wish it goes on forever (even though it's been going on for 25 years)
Okay, so One Piece. Big topic lol. First off, yes it is about Pirates. Anyway so there are a few different power systems in one piece, but the main power system is Devil Fruits. It's a fruit that when you eat it you get special abilities that can range drastically, you also lose the ability to swim if you eat it. Devil Fruits are categorized in 3 categories: Zoan (animal transformation), Logia (elemental abilities such as fire, ice, sand, etc.), And Paramecia which is kinda a mixed bag of random (there are qualifications for it, but to complicated to explain tbh). The other power systems get introduced much later in the story so to avoid spoilers I won't mention them unless you really don't care about spoilers lol. As far as the size difference stuff goes, there really isn't an explanation for it (correct me if I'm wrong other fans, it's been a hot minute since I've watched/read back older stuff). There are many different races including giants, but they are a separate race from the humans who just happen to be giant sized. There was recently a large spoiler reveal surrounding the main character so to prevent spoilers for those who are fans that might read my comment I won't say anything regarding the main characters abilities aside from, he stretches like Mr. Fantastic or Stretch Armstrong. There is a 2 year time skip around the midpoint so the characters have aged a little bit, but most of the aging look is solely from the animation slowly getting better over time and the characters getting stronger. I don't think I missed any questions that aren't any crazy spoilers???
I just know I can't scroll through the comment section cause its filled with huge paras of OP content and I can't stop myself reading them through if I saw one of those but I love everyone's dedication and their appreciation to this godly series. as far as ik OP and his fandom both are extremely eccentric and loveable. i have huge respect for both OP-: "Fans and "ODA SENSEI"...!!! (THANK-YOU)
One Piece has a lot of episodes, and it will take a bit to finish, but this anime isn't something that you should watch just thinking about finishing it. It's something to be enjoyable, like all the others animes. There are the ones that like to watch one arc per month, others that manage to watch the whole anime in a month, and the ones that only watch 2 episodes sometimes, when they have a little bit of time. It's a matter of finding the best pace for you. You know that feeling of finishing a really good series and wishing you had more? We don't have that kind of problem here. There are even websites that summarize the fillers, so you can skip it if you want. Only 10% of the anime is filler, wich would be around 100 episodes. It would take around 17 days to watch all the episodes (if you don´t sleep or eat, don't skip fillers, openings and endings, etc...) so it is possible to do it in 2 or 3 months. If you set your goal to 1 year, it would be 2 or 3 episodes for each day of the year (Including the fillers and without skiping the openings and endings). The community in chruchroll even tells you the timestamps to skip the recap in the beginnig of the episodes, and you can always skip flashbacks... So there is a way to speedrun One Piece if you want to.
One piece is very very long. It will take you at least a year to watch. The good thing about that is that it is so incredible I would watch it all again. I don't regret that time spent for a second. I could have watched 30 other shows in the meantime, but non of them would be able to stand up next to one piece. This story is God level because it has been going on for so long and people are begging for more. The hype even today is absolutely insane, the newest releases are absolutely fire.
Yo you should react to a video called "The breathtaking world of One Piece" by Strawhat V. It's an 8-minute long fanmade video that showcases the incredible world building of One Piece. Oh and react to all the openings too there's 25 of them in total including the 1000 episode opening so you can do two videos in parts
Recommend video called: The Breathtaking World Of One Piece Also One Piece seems like a Behemoth and it is but there is a way to watch it that is more manageable. While there is an overarching story of one piece, and that isn't done, there are actually big stories inside that could be watched as their own segments called Sagas. Each has a definite beginning and end. And each saga is further broken down into smaller stories called arcs. If you aren't sure whether you want to watch ALL of One Piece which is a huge commitment and also don't want to start unfinished stories that don't have a satisfying end then watching a saga at a time is by far easier. Each saga is it's own adventure that also helps build the overarching story but that has a somewhat satisfying end if you want to stop there and not watch anything else One Piece. For example the first saga is called East Blue. It is only 12 manga volumes and 53 anime episodes (unless you include the filler arc and then it's 61 episodes). It has a clear beginning and ending point, although a bit open ended, and is a much easier commitment to see if it's something you want to watch. Personally I hate the grind of waiting for new episodes and chapters week to week so I wait for a whole Saga to finish before I return to One Piece and frankly that is a much easier commitment to make and while it leaves me wanting more of the characters I feel satisfied to wait another a few years before returning to the story. It's like picking up a volume of a story like Harry Potter, or picking up a season of Doctor Who. Sure you might be interested in what happens next to the characters you love but each saga can be watched on it's own and has a somewhat satisfying stopping point. I always recommend this way of watching to people. 1000+ episodes IS daunting. 53 is very much doable. You can further break it down into arcs but frankly arcs generally don't have a satisfying ending unless it is the arc that finishes off a saga.
To awnser a few questions: The main characters name is Monkey D. Luffy, the man who will become King of the Pirates. So yes they are pirates. I wouldn't call it magic, there are special abilitys gained by eating a devil fruit (you can only eat one). You get that unique power but lose your ability to swim. So whenever a devil fruit user falls into the sea you have a problem, people without devils fruit powers have to jump after them to come to the rescue. For example Luffy's devils fruit is the "gomu gomu no mi" that means he is a rubber man. So his whole body is made out of rubber and thats why he can stretch all of his body. Why are there so enormous people? That is not really explained. But when trees or animals or something like that are characters, it's explained and fits to the arc. The seasons don't have numbers, they are refered to arc-names. For example: the first arc is called "east blue saga" (or east blue arc). In the world of one piece, there is only one big landmass. It circles around the world once but is not very wide. All of the rest are small, far apart Islands with one or a few small citys. Every Island has it's own astetic, culture, people etc. Sometimes the whole animationstyle changes when entering a new Island to match the astetic (good examples are Thriller Bark and Wano). The straw hats (Luffy's crew) mostly change outfits at least once every new Island and somewhere in between the 1000 Episodes there is a time skip, thats why they change more drasticly there. Tried to keep it as spoiler free as possible :)
There’s a great couple videos called “the appeal of one piece” and “why you should watch/read one piece” by super eyepatch wolf. But videos are very reaction worthy. Consider checking them out
The one piece earth is A LOT bigger than our earth so it’s not really the same and there are 2 main Power systems in one piece 1.devil fruits which give you a certain power and there are 3 types of devil fruits and 2. Haki: there are also 3 types of haki
this anime is indeed long and very complicated. but it's fun unlike demon slayer or jujutsu kaisen where its has a very simple story, this one piece alongside naruto, dragon ball, bleach has a lot of world and character building. at first when i want to start watching one piece i always had a doubt that its gonna be a long boring anime story but after that, i take everything i said back. and now i know why most ppl call this a god tier anime/story and no wonder why it got the 2nd best selling manga/comic under superman at 1st and batman at the 3rd. i suggest that you should watch it if you have time to kill/spare, but its just the downside of this anime is that the pacing, its so long and too much flashbacks and unnecessary scene. but as a someone who also read the comics/manga i would say this is the best of the best on anime history. sorry if i explain it too long and had a bad grammar. (tldr : its a masterpiece story and insane character development) and to answer your question Main character : monkey d. luffy goal : to be king of pirate why's ppl look different? : well quite frankly i dont know how to answer that, most character that is tall and bigger than avg human are mostly assosiated with enemy/ally with good fighting capability and its kinda look like fairy tale where giants, elf, titans, etc why's there ppl with unique power? : there's a fruit that granting ppl ability ( generate fire, light, dark, ice, etc) what you looking between eps 800-1000 is a big battle of the main character itself fighting against the ruler of the new seas
The another guy with the fire ability is sabo and don’t him confused with sanji they are two different characters sabo is ace and puffy brother ace is the one that died and sabo ate his fruit when he died to get his flame power.
You should check out "The Breathtaking World of One Piece" by Strawhat V. It's an amazing glimpse at the worldbuilding in One Piece and it's beautifully put together as well!
One piece is a mix of really good story with fighting adventure and comedy, you should watch it, even with the length, not telling you to react to it on video just watch it in general.. Or you can read the manga which takes like 2 months to finish but you probably don't like manga manga
you thought the first thousand episodes were great, just wait until you see the next thousand! greatest anime of all time, dont let the amount of episodes scare you off. it is worth it.
One Piece includes slavery, forced marriage, colonialism, the military above all, erasing history, killing people who oppose the government, racial discrimination. Everything is in One Piece.
Ok I'm confused, even the people who have never watched a single episode of any anime know that one piede is a pirate anime, why did he just said 'it seems like it's about pirate a little bit'
Don't think of the episode count as a bar of entry. Think of it as a privilege. The point is not to get to the end. The point is to enjoy the adventure. By starting One Piece, you are giving yourself something to do for months if not years. Doesn't that sound great? Every time you're bored, you have something that you will LOVE to do. There's truly never been anything like One Piece. The author has somehow weaved a singular story that has gone on for 1000+ episodes. It's not like American syndicated shows which accomplish their story and then come up with a new plot afterwards to keep the show going. This has been one long story (granted, with several subplots) the entire time. It is a modern-day Odyssey. I'm CERTAINLY not claiming the show is perfect. There are some pacing issues. And, the beginning is straight up DIFFICULT to enjoy. But, I always tell my friends and coworkers who start watching it that by episode 37, they will understand. And, sure enough, once they've watched episode 37, they come to me (or even text/call me because they can't wait to talk about it) and simply say "I understand."
If you are going to watch One Piece I recommend stopping by the episodes 500ish to think if you really are liking the anime and decide wether you want to keep going all the way to the end or not
☠One Piece is known for having amazing character development and worldbuilding. The author, Eiichiro Oda, is considered to be a creative genius as he leaves hints and clues about mysterious aspects of the story, which are yet to be discovered. If you search for "One Piece theories", you will find years worth of content, of people trying to put together the puzzle pieces. If you like Attack on Titan's worldbuilding and foreshadowing, then I can seriously recommend watching One Piece! ☠
hey man, I seriously hope you see this comment. if you want to watch one piece, PLEASE USE ONE PACE. the anime has no seasons because toei animation releases episodes weekly, stretching them out to milk it for money. the first 200 episodes have decent pacing, by 300 it's noticeable but bearable, but finally after 300 the pacing gets horrible because they want to milk it for money. This is a problem only with the anime. the reason one piece is so long is because of toei stretching the episodes, if it had average anime pacing of 2-3 chapters per episode it should be at 450-500ish episodes. Please please please watch one piece using one pace, if you reply to this comment I can explain further but I dont want to make this comment too long because you might not read it then.
one Piece is the best show and the world building huge. Oda the manga writer is the best. In Japan the put the last name first so it will say Monkey D Luffy but it is Luffy D Monkey which One Piece was one of the big three in the day. All the question you ask it spoil if you ever watch it.
Why are One Piece characters like this? Some are big and some are silly? Huge body because in the old days human bodies were large and many creatures became extinct The writer of One Piece wanted to integrate the extinct wonders in our world to leave endless love for adventure, the design of some characters is funny because despite the enormity of the story Oda wanted to make viewers laugh and it is strange that most of the characters is legendary !!
Anyway One Piece does not speak to the eyes like alot of idiots thinking. but it speaks to the heart exactly thats way he reach 1000 episodes but still in top Hope you will do react for the first 5 episodes at least .
These kind of One Piece vidoeos are the worst. Because once some one seen a bunch of it they really feel like they understand what One Piece are and never watch the show.
I Recommend for u to watch it, even tho it has 1000+ episodes. Its fun to watch and youll never get Bored when watching one piece, The main Character is Monkey D. Luffy. But yeah i totally recommend for anime beginners to watch one piece. It has Diffrent types of Character style, Once you get to the 400+ episodes it will start to get even better. it has comedy in it which is amazing. One piece is one of the best anime for people to watch. Look at replies | |
It has Great world building, Plot, plot twist, and arcs. Luffy will never go down on a fight, Like he said he will become the King of Pirates. The power system is called a Devil Fruit and theres Haki too i cant explain haki very well so ima explain devil fruits. Devil fruits are a fruit you can eat and gain powers from. but theres one catch, You will lose ur swimming abilities. Luffy has a Devil fruit called "Gomu gomu no mi fruit" or Gum gum Fruit.
In fact, Luffy, the hero of the story, the person in the straw hat, has a childhood dream of becoming the pirate king. There are four seas in one piece, the North , Southeast and West seas, and what separates them is where the story begins with strange creatures and illogical legends. The reason for the power is the Devil Fruit, which will be considered a mystery even in 1000 episodes .
Perun games you saw one peice crossover with dragon ballz and the other guy with blue hair is torkio they had a crossover dragon ballz one peice and tor
you lost the most unique, best, story, character, build world... in history of anime! you know if you want or not. its annoyng that people say "its to much episodes..:" in 5 months you arrive 1000 episodes.

One Piece is one of the greatest stories of our time, fully recommended.
my god! are you a professor who ran away from OHARA or what?!? o7
Bro did the 4kids rap oh nah 😭
Wait, Oda said the OP world is the size of the sun? Do you have a source for that? Because if it's true, it shows that Oda must not have realized just how much bigger the sun is than the Earth. Setting aside the physical impossibility of a planet that size existing (because it's not like physics matters in OP), you could forget about circumnavigating it on a wind-powered ship within a single human lifetime, let alone just a few years like Luffy has now nearly done.
@@LPTheGas no Oda never said it was as big as the sun. He said it was 4x bigger than earth
One piece is hilarious, heartbreaking, exciting, inspiring and ridiculous
It just the best show man…
Do yourself a favor and get on board!
To be honest.. I could try to answer your questions... or i could recommend the video "the appeal of one piece: where to start" where a lot of your questions are being answered.. 🤷🏻♀️
Edit: there are no seasons, only arcs. It's always the same journey on the same path (only the islands and landmasses are different)
@MBYahooo Saw this video the other day. It's pretty amazing.
LOL.
"Its looks like it about pirates... a little bit..."
Ah laugh so hard that i cried.
And technologies that can resemble magic (e.g. a string summoning wind)
The most important type of power in this world is the devilish fruit.
23 seasons if u go to netflix
At the very least it would be 5 pages
Let me explain one piece.
The first few episodes are fun
The 30th episode gets you hooked
The 37th episode is "DAAAAAMN!!!!!!!"
The next episodes are a roller coaster
And just when you thought it couldn't get better, you're damn wrong. It exceeds your expectations.
Do yourself a favor pls. There's a saying "We'll be waiting for you in Wano"
Wano is the latest arc btw.
9:00 SEASONS!?!? Oh You've got the wrong idea. THERE IS ONLY ONE!
One Piece is just amazing! It has everything from adventure to comedy action, emotions to almost every aspect of fiction, been watching it for more than 5 years (caught up to the anime in 2017 and been watching/reading weekly since) and I've watched around 50 anime but One Piece is still my favourite. The characters and their sad backstories, the story, the mysteries, the world-building, the fights and flashbacks are all really enjoyable and makes me wish it goes on forever (even though it's been going on for 25 years)
I love one piece , it’s a anime that have a massive and amazing world, my favorite show ever
Explain One Piece:
Me* "Can't explain one piece, it's so amazing there aren't even words to describe".
"i think its a little bit about pirates too" LOL THE WHOLE ANIME IS BASED ON PIRATES
That wasn't Dragon Ball, it's "Toriko" crossover.
There are no seasons, please stop saying that
I just know I can't scroll through the comment section cause its filled with huge paras of OP content and I can't stop myself reading them through if I saw one of those but I love everyone's dedication and their appreciation to this godly series. as far as ik OP and his fandom both are extremely eccentric and loveable. i have huge respect for both OP-: "Fans and "ODA SENSEI"...!!! (THANK-YOU)
One piece have a lot good line with heart break
Love , dream , friend, family , past and future
That was a crossover between One Piece,Dragonball and Toriko a few years ago....Kinda fun .
If you watch it only that it will be like 2 months
Yo you should react to a video called "The breathtaking world of One Piece" by Strawhat V. It's an 8-minute long fanmade video that showcases the incredible world building of One Piece. Oh and react to all the openings too there's 25 of them in total including the 1000 episode opening so you can do two videos in parts
Recommend video called: The Breathtaking World Of One Piece
Also One Piece seems like a Behemoth and it is but there is a way to watch it that is more manageable.
Pov: u didn't read the whole comment
@@bigjockyyoutube7697 my greatest curse: long youtube comments 🤣
That's the worst way to get donut spoiler lol
Anyone else get a One Piece Odyssey trailer just now? :)
You love to see it
To awnser a few questions:
The main characters name is Monkey D.
Uhhhh not much more can be said from what ive read from the comments just highly recommend checkin out the openings
best story and worldbuilding ever written
it’s because that part was the timeskip after 2 years of training.
When the Merry burned
We One Piece Fans felt sadness
It was no ship, It was a Friend
Is this guy live under rock
one piece is an anime that has a very dark side and is covered by the comedy genre and the appearance of a unique character
Its funny how I know every detail of those 1 seconds
If there was a specific surgery to remove One Piece from my memory I would do it. Just so I could relive it all again.
There’s a great couple videos called “the appeal of one piece” and “why you should watch/read one piece” by super eyepatch wolf. But videos are very reaction worthy. Consider checking them out
ABOVE THE LAW WE ARE THE STRAW HATS ABOUND I WILL BE CROWNED! (Noticed the divide track off rip.) One piece is goated.
(tldr : its a masterpiece story and insane character development)
and to answer your question
Main character : monkey d. luffy
goal : to be king of pirate
why's ppl look different? : well quite frankly i dont know how to answer that, most character that is tall and bigger than avg human are mostly assosiated with enemy/ally with good fighting capability and its kinda look like fairy tale where giants, elf, titans, etc
why's there ppl with unique power? : there's a fruit that granting ppl ability ( generate fire, light, dark, ice, etc)
what you looking between eps 800-1000 is a big battle of the main character itself fighting against the ruler of the new seas
It took me 1 year and 4 months to catch up
I only have watched 215 ep of one piece till now..
One piece is a mix of really good story with fighting adventure and comedy, you should watch it, even with the length, not telling you to react to it on video just watch it in general..
Or you can read the manga which takes like 2 months to finish but you probably don't like manga manga
You should check out just the geography video explaining the word
Great video, thanks so much, i hope you make a reaction for the openings as well.
you thought the first thousand episodes were great, just wait until you see the next thousand! greatest anime of all time, dont let the amount of episodes scare you off. it is worth it.
One Piece includes slavery, forced marriage, colonialism, the military above all, erasing history, killing people who oppose the government, racial discrimination. Everything is in One Piece.
In the case of one piece Anime some of these one seconds is literally a whole episode 😂
Ok I'm confused, even the people who have never watched a single episode of any anime know that one piede is a pirate anime, why did he just said 'it seems like it's about pirate a little bit'
15:13 only in that season ( spoil : it's the giant woman power )
world building is so good in one piece!
9:08 The mc is named Luffy and there's zoro, nami, usoop, sanji and 99+ more
ps, not a spoiler it's just names okie
99+ more? One Piece has over a thousand named characters, not counting movies and filler.

You shouldn't watch highlights, fights, 1st and last episode, etc of One Piece.
Do yourself a favor and start at Ep1 and have a great journey
True
And, sure enough, once they've watched episode 37, they come to me (or even text/call me because they can't wait to talk about it) and simply say "I understand."
who taught the turtle buso
If you are going to watch One Piece I recommend stopping by the episodes 500ish to think if you really are liking the anime and decide wether you want to keep going all the way to the end or not
why?
there's no need to stop tho. That would be an easy question. Unless I dunno!
There is something like magic and its called haki
Try the 24 openings too its all banger thou
☠One Piece is known for having amazing character development and worldbuilding. The author, Eiichiro Oda, is considered to be a creative genius as he leaves hints and clues about mysterious aspects of the story, which are yet to be discovered.
If you search for "One Piece theories", you will find years worth of content, of people trying to put together the puzzle pieces.
If you like Attack on Titan's worldbuilding and foreshadowing, then I can seriously recommend watching One Piece! ☠
BOATS are characters, too!
hey man, I seriously hope you see this comment. if you want to watch one piece, PLEASE USE ONE PACE. the anime has no seasons because toei animation releases episodes weekly, stretching them out to milk it for money. the first 200 episodes have decent pacing, by 300 it's noticeable but bearable, but finally after 300 the pacing gets horrible because they want to milk it for money. This is a problem only with the anime. the reason one piece is so long is because of toei stretching the episodes, if it had average anime pacing of 2-3 chapters per episode it should be at 450-500ish episodes. Please please please watch one piece using one pace, if you reply to this comment I can explain further but I dont want to make this comment too long because you might not read it then.
you should watch the "why you should watch/read one piece" video
one Piece is the best show and the world building huge.

Anyway
One Piece does not speak to the eyes like alot of idiots thinking. but it speaks to the heart exactly thats way he reach 1000 episodes but still in top
Hope you will do react for the first 5 episodes at least .
These kind of One Piece vidoeos are the worst. Because once some one seen a bunch of it they really feel like they understand what One Piece are and never watch the show.
One Piece is The Goat
I Recommend for u to watch it, even tho it has 1000+ episodes. Its fun to watch and youll never get Bored when watching one piece, The main Character is Monkey D. Luffy. But yeah i totally recommend for anime beginners to watch one piece. It has Diffrent types of Character style, Once you get to the 400+ episodes it will start to get even better. it has comedy in it which is amazing. One piece is one of the best anime for people to watch.

Luffy is trying to gather a crew for 10 people and become the Pirate King. He will face enemies with no fear, even if hes weaker then them.
He Protects his friends from enemies

In fact, Luffy, the hero of the story, the person in the straw hat, has a childhood dream of becoming the pirate king.
There are four seas in one piece, the North , Southeast and West seas, and what separates them is where the story begins with strange creatures and illogical legends.
The reason for the power is the Devil Fruit, which will be considered a mystery even in 1000 episodes .
