Actually is odd and amazing that Helfgott could plays at this level. And cheers for the conductor, because she conducted the orchestra and Helfgott.

Helfgott is truly showing music genius. I saw 'Shine', I bought his first CD of R3, which was not of this quality but I was glad to have bought it. That must have been 20 years ago or thereabouts. He was a 50-something-year-old. This shows me a different Helfgott. A master. (...But he should fire the singer.) I just want to really hear those electrically precise piano sounds he makes! (H: I also play the R3.)

You play the R3??? Only a few pianists do. I tried it several times but never got it right, so I can't say that I play it.

José Ataíde Yes I do. When it was released no one but Rachmaninoff played it, for years. Even Hoffman, the guy R dedicated it too did not, probably could not. Then came Horowitz. I don't know how many play it today but I suspect hundreds in the US and perhaps more in China. I plan to post mine to youtube near Summer.

4Rachy Yes, I've seen some pianists, mostly Chinese, playing it on RUclips. Still, you have to be an amazing musician (both to read such Music and to play it correctly). That's all I'm saying... I mean, I went through it lots of times but this is one of the kind. You play it right once in a lifetime... I never did and I'm aware of it after 40 years of Piano. Please be so kind as to share your video as soon as you post it. I look forward to it. All the best !!!

Es un concierto publico. Este hombre sufrio una tremenda crisis emocional que lo dejo, bueno, aturdido. Mira la pelicula "Shine", es su biografia.
