What a classic! NY used to be flooded with those assortments. We used to buy them wholesale from "MIDWEST FIREWORKS" in Deerfield, OH. Wouldja believe they used to be packed 4 pcs to a case??? You couldn't unload a truckload of those without getting a hernia! I believe at the time we were paying somewhere between 65.00 and 67.50 per case, depending upon the quantity of the order. 100+ etc... What a difference twenty years makes.

Vapor Trails is good and colorful but a little to slow for my liking. Actually, I think you'll be impressed with the Chinese New Year cake. It's pretty good.
Just got this assortment the sucking thing is, they removed the mini copperheads and add another cone also, they replace the small bottle rockets with the jumbo ones but hey it was buy 1 get 2 free not bad

If they were going to do that, then they should've compensated by upgrading the festival ball shell kit to a regular artillery shell kit. I just hope they didn't increase the price of the assortment as well.

Adrian Heim Well that's a pretty general question, lol. Before I can answer that, I would have to reply to that with several questions. 1.) What store(s) do you usually go to? 2.) How much do you plan to spend? 3.) What are your preferences? (Novelties, Cakes, Artillery Shells, etc.)
Adrian Heim For canister shells, I would try either Diablo, Contaband 24 or Black Mamba. Diablo would probably be the best of that bunch, but if it's too expensive for you then Contraband is a good alternative (I don't see the prices listed on the Pyro City website, so you'd have to do the research in that category). I'm not too familiar with Black Cat items, especially when it comes to cakes, so you would have look up some videos and see what your preference is on some of their cakes. You can't go wrong with their firecrackers and bottle rockets as they're considered to be some of the best on the market. I wish I can give more advice, but beyond what I just said, it would be too much of a guessing game. Good luck!!
Actually the assortment was worth $150, but with the buy 1 get 2 free coupon I was able to get this, The Exterminator shells, and the Contraband shells all for $150. So, technically, I did get this assortment for $50, but I also had to purchase the other two canister shell kits because they were priced at $150 as well. Basically, it's 3 items for $150 instead of the regular offer of 2 for $150.
I've never had the Godfather assortment, but my fellow youtube pyro fanatic fadedking did an unboxing and a review of the assortment. According to him, it wasn't worth the money that he paid for it. Tyler Lemmones You're best bet is to check out the safe & sane assortments. I'm not a big fountain guy, but the Mystical Knight assortment is a good safe & sane assortment. Check out TheBestYears1996's channel, he does an unboxing of that assortment. I would also look into checking out other stores in your area if you want to get a better deal, since Phantom can be a bit expensive.
Angel Cuevas Phantom has the buy 1 get 1 free "promotion" all year long, but believe me, you're better off buying from Phantom when they have a buy 1 get 2 free promotion just about 2-3 weeks before the 4th of July. Prices are more reasonable during that promotion.
The bee fountain isn't that good I get those cheaper and smaller that last just all long. And phantoms is ok but you should check out boom city that's where I got the pandogoras temple it's twice the size of that. You did get some pretty nice stuff in there too!

Every major firework store sells it's own version of the New Yorker assortment (with different items from different brands, of course). This assortment is still packaged with the same items that were in this video, so you should get the same exact thing if you purchase it this year. cool fireworks i bought my fireworks form the grocey store i have got a chance to light off all my fireworks in my area we cant have any thing that goes up in the just gournd stuff Arizona have pertty werd laws too lol
But from what I hear, some steps were taken to ensure that the Arizona laws would allow most, if not all, 1.4g fireworks within the next year or two. You should be able to see some sky puke in your backyard hopefully as early as next year.
