As per UIDAI's new policy other relationship fields such as D/o, S/o etc have been replaced with C/o field within the Address. Filling this field is optional. You can opt for address update in your Aadhaar and choose to give your father's name/husband's name/mother's/acquaintance name on the C/o field. C/o field or Address update can be done
through both online and offline mode. Kindly visit the nearest Enrolment Centre or UIDAI website uidai.gov.in to update
the address in your Aadhaar.

The relation and the relative's name is a part of address field in Aadhaar. This was earlier mentioned as S/o D/o or W/o. We have now standardized it to C/o. Filling this is optional. You can update the address in your Aadhaar and choose to give your father's name on the C/o field or even leave it blank.

You can update your father's name in the C/o field of your address. If you didn't change it during your address update, it won't appear on your Aadhaar. Please update the C/o field or your address details by visiting the nearest Enrolment Centre or the UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in.

I have submitted hof based aadhar update but it is getting rejected. I have submitted self declaration as per specified format. But still rejected. It is rejected with below details.

सर मैं 2 बार आधार में एड्रेस अपडेट रिक्वेस्ट डाल चुका हूं।एक बार सरपंच से अटेस्टेड करा के और दूसरी बार hof बेस्ड जिसमे मैंने 10+2 हरियाणा बोर्ड की मार्कशीट अपलोड की थी जो की प्रूफ ऑफ रिलेशन के तौर पर अपलोड की थी।और बिलकुल साफ साफ दिख रही थी।लेकिन ऑपरेटर ने उसको क्वालिटी चेक इश्यू बोल के रिजेक्ट कर दिया में 3 बार पैसे भर चुका हु या तो वो रिफंड दो nhi to nujhe wo photo dikaiye jisme aapne likha ki क्वालिटी चेक के कारण हम रिजेक्ट कर रहे है

Can we add wife name in C/o field ?
To include Guardian/ Parent/Spouse Name as part of the address, select the Address correction option. Then select the appropriate box in C/o details and enter the name of the person in the subsequent field. C/o details can be updated as a part of Address update. It is not mandatory to provide C/O details while correcting your address in Aadhaar. You are required to fill the complete address and upload supporting PoA even if you want to update/correct only C/o details. It is ok if C/o details are not mentioned in your PoA document.

What does "ETC" document mean at 1:15 in the video? My application using Birth Certificate as the PoR document, which clearly states my name and HoF name, was rejected. Quite clueless which document to submit if Birth Certificate is not accepted.

Address के HOF आधारित अपडेट के तहत आवेदक (माता, पिता, पति या पत्नी, वार्ड / बच्चे, कानूनी अभिभावक, भाई-बहन) के साथ संबंधों के आधार पर पते को अपडेट किया जा सकता है।
यदि आधार धारक की आयु 18 वर्ष से कम है, तो एचओएफ आधारित पता अपडेट के लिए लागू संबंध माता, पिता और कानूनी अभिभावक होंगे।

Worst website, 2 times same process done , but rejected by saying (Your enrolment is rejected due to Data/Process reasons. You may go for re-enrolment OR re-updation please if not yet done so far)

Aadhaar services are now available only at banks, post offices, CSCs, designated state government offices or Aadhaar Seva Kendras run by UIDAI. Aadhar Center is not available for private operations. You may contact the registrars for further instructions.

Sir I know the whole process but I don't have VID so how do I unlock everything. I have looked at the process carefully but it is not working. I also tried it through SMS but it is showing technical exception.

UIDAI gives facility to their users to obtain VID using various approaches are as:
For myAadhaar Portal, the URL - >myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genericGenerateOrRetriveVID
2. Whenever user downloads his/her eAadhaar, he/she will obtain his/her VID in it
3. User can go to nearest PEC and obtain his VID
4. User can log in to his/her m-Aadhaar application, create a profile and request for VID generation
5. User has to send an SMS "GVIDLast four digits of UID to 1947 from his/her registered mobile number to obtain VID
Sir after updating Aadhar address by using head of family option my address is updated but instead of s/o it is now showing as c/o in the address . How to correct this ?
