We visited in November.. It’s a tropical place.. and you will always find a bit of rainfall and sun.. but in October, monsoons would start receding.. so it won’t be much of an issue..

Go to krabi first.. then come back to phuket.. so that you can easily catch your flight on the last day.. we took a cab. But there are local buses too which would be much cheaper..
See both are same in terms of sea.. but just that you get to explore new islands.. every island has a different feel, in my view.. you basically do island hopping in these kind of trips!
Phuket has a lot more stuff to do than Krabi.. but both the places have their own charm.. there is no harm even if you want to stay at phuket only. So much to do in Phuket. Even 7 days would seem less in the end! :)

I would suggest you wrap up Krabi first.. krabi mein 4 island ke alawa 1-2 aur activities hain... basically 2-3 nights are sufficient for Krabi.. phuket is indeed more fun..
At what time does this tour end in the evening ? I mean by what time do u reach back Ao nang ? What is the mode of transport in krabi if you can say since after returning from this I ll go Bangkok by air at night.
Motion sickness became an issue on Phi Phi island tour.. since it was a longer journey.. But Krabi Island tour had frequent halts.. we didn’t have to travel for long in one stretch. So motion sickness wasn’t really an issue..

Long tail boats are good if you want to have a slower relaxed ride.. not sure about the pricing. And yes, they do assist for snorkelling..
