Exactly what I did in the Norway level when I found out it's actually possible to be stealthy there. I missed this tune so I pressed the alarm.

It's difficult to find such a powerful soundtrack of this style in newer games, and the gun sounds? the most powerful mp40 and thompson sounds i've heard in any games they have appeared in my experience. long live RTCW

@@Uragan00829 Thompson does sound great. Considering how uncommon the ammo is ingame, I think that the sound accompanied with the low firing rate makes it sound just as "exotic" as it needs to be, even if not realistic.
@@aixide Its sound great, yeah, but it isnt like the most powerful sound of this gun in videogames or somethin. BTW, Thompson in this game has lower firerate, which is wrong (MP40:500RPm, Thompson:700RPM.

Bro even the New Colosus and the other more recent ones wont beat RTCW. Idk if its nostalgia or the soundtrack but this game was off the chain... it was so lit playing it as a kid 😂👌🏻

In addition to that, the disadvantages of having a vintage game remade with today's graphics would take away all the memorable moments as in how the game originally looked like and how it was intended to look like.
It'll never look the same for the naked eye of a true gamer who enjoys playing games the way it was meant to be designed and played.

I don't know was it a technical problem or something else, but somehow this track once played on Paderborn village while I was playing, when there is no music at all... Must've been some problem.

Despite this is just 40 second loop it doesn't feel repetitive
Colt, thompson, FG42, venom gun, flamethrower + yelling burned soldiers and alarm in the background = action.
i love to come back to wolfenstein return to castle it is a great game i used to play this everyday and i hope there will be another wolfenstein like this

Best memories
Running through the war torn city just before entering the crypt where you start encountering the undead, this tune playing made it truly epic - trying to dodge tank fire and shit.
You know you were rocking the dualie 1911s!
you got the levels confused, this doesn't play in the village level before the crypt. It plays in a seperate village thats been bombed out where you need to escort a tank and save a defecting scientist. The level ends with you entering a bombed out store room and kicking out the grate to enter the sewers in order to access the bombed out factory.

RTCW is indeed an amazing game and OST is really awesome.
Man, as I await to enter in a Hell Let Loose server... I listen to this... really miss those days... This music also reminds me of the amazing shoutcaster Warwitch, he used this music a lot in his pre voice stuff before them big matches, infensus vs doctors, etc..
Really . Im big fan of RTCW and i dont want see any remake. If this game have to die in our memories just let it be. One of the best FPS game i had to play in my life. Ave RTCW

I have a recent computer with a great configuration, all the new games are installed and configured in Ultra and yet I continue to play and replay Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstain Enemy Territory too, the soundtrack, the atmosphere, I don't know, there's something in this game almost mystic ! RTCW Best game ever

I think you mean more like remake. A remaster would require modifying off the original game, and there is only so much you can do with this very old engine. But yeah, we definitely need more Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

I like this game's approach with military music. Kinda wish The New Order/The Old Blood had music like that, too. No disrespect to Mick Gordon or anything, but the music he did recently was only metal and little to no different music genres.

The most epic and dangerous game in the entire series. Combination of horror, action and suspense in one package. Bill totally nailed the mood of this game musically 20 years ago. Wolf 2009 was the last game in the series to me. After that, Bethesda changed Wolfenstein into another call of duty game that focused only on the military action element. RTCW involved other important elements besides the military action element that made it an extraordinary WW2 game such as paranormality, black magic, advanced Nazi technology, walking dead and Brown's score. The genre of this game should be "Action Horror FPS". There are no memorable scores in New Order, Old Blood, New Colossus or Young Blood.
Bottom line is, I quit gaming for 8 years now but I am ready to go back if RTCW is going to be in "Remake".

I played this too much I could probably mimic every sound effect from the game to some degree.... I'm that lucky 1% of 2000+ Gamers (I'm 15) who grew up with a classic game like this, recently somebody got it for me on PC and I'm just reliving memories...
