she has a sensual voice. A voice that makes all the pain and anger you might feel go away just by the sound of it. She was a gracious woman and the world didn't deserve her.
this interview is a fraud and highly manipulative. But it has fooled many who are taken in by the clever use of make-up and by a manipulative voice and language. Diana let herself down - again and again. Diana was a psychological mess and must have been a nightmare to live with or be married to and this interview proves it. She was highly manipulative and highly unstable and used the media, and anything else to hand, to get at the royal family and her husband, hypocritically accusing him of being unfaithful whilst having any number of affairs herself. She says the marriage was "a bit crowded" - hypocritically referring to her husband when she was 10 times worse. This interview was the ultimate betrayal of her family, herself and the people of Britain - a total disgrace.
And you do? Don't make me laugh! All you have is empty-head abuse, spewing venom and vomiting obscenity. The fraudulent Panorama interview really took you in, as it did many other thoughtless fools.
mr keeper no....he isn’t a sociopath. He has a different opinion of Diana than you do, that’s all. Diana did have affairs of her own. She did ruin a few marriages. She was human, not a false deity.....a human being that is fallible, as we all are.
My grandmother, God rest her soul, used to tell me one of her favourite stories. She was holidaying in Northumberland and there was a rumour that Princess Diana was in the area at a nearby pub. She and my grandfather walked nearby to see if they could get a glimpse of her. They saw her car go past and waved, although the windows were blackened. To their surprise the car stopped and the back window came down and Diana greeted them both, spoke with them about their holiday, wished them well and shook their hands. My grandparents were by no means obsessed with the royals but this moment has always stuck with them both. She was a real and sweet woman.
.....just to think that many have forgotten this interview which shows this beautiful soul was under so much pressure and vicious attack from her own country and now we see her son Harry.....going through the same.....against the same negative power.
Callum Lynn Thanks so much for sharing this info because it really gives me some proof that she was indeed a very loving person - at least when it came to dealing with the public. If only she could’ve been as sweet & attentive to herself as she was with your grandparents. May God bless them all - your grandparents & Princess Di 💕
I love how gentle and delicate of a woman she was, but still had the heart and soul of a rebel. She was a silent fighter and her energy was so pure that it enraged those with bad intentions. She was so powerful. Wish there were more women like her.
I love watching the Princess of Wales. Diana Princes of the world. Queen of Heart❤️ Beautiful inside out🙏Rest well and the Love of Our God Almighty. Have Mercy on her soul.
Theim Patnubay mental health wasn't acknowledged as much as it is now... People nowadays don't really think of the public/therapeutic views on mental health back in the 80's through to the early 2000s.. It was all very hushed up and demonised, particularly if you were in the public eye, you were judged.
@@paintedsmut5472 yes, I know that :) And it's sad to think that during those times people were suffering alone. Now, it's time for us to break that stigma. Thank you for sharing!
Watching this in 2020 and realizing that since her tragic death, no public figure has even come close to matching the class, vulnerability and sheer beauty of this exquisite creature. RIP Princess.
Martin Bashir, Jeff Zucker, Les Moonves, John Laurinaitis and Matt Lauer as well as Trump are now paying the price. I mean, they humiliated Janet, Britney, Princess Diana, Amanda Bynes, LiLo, the Olsen twins, etc. but in the end, those males got karma instead, LOL.
Her eyes sort of read to me that she's desparate to say something but can't. Just the way she stares at the interviewer and pauses, it was almost like she was telepathically trying to communicate words to him
I remember being a child watching this interview with my mom, the reaction back then was so different than it would be now. People tore her apart! They made her seem like she was doing it for attention, that she was crazy, that she was manipulative. People would make fun of her bulimia, her depression. Because back then there was no such thing as mental health awareness. Everyone was just categorized as crazy. So for her to be as open and vulnerable as she was really shows how ahead of her time she was. And if she were still alive today she would probably be an advocate for Mental health
@@drawingroomforkids just what i was thinking... even if harry didn't fought the problems diana did, some people are calling him crazy. Looks like this crazyness is more related to speaking out rather than just being "crazy" (whatever that means)... i think people used diana's depression and bulimia as a proof to explain what they were already thinking

Why don't you face the fact that you know absolutely nothing about the royal marriage, the royal family and the British Constitution. Jacob, please go away you are a troll, if you hate Diana why watching this video and posting, keep your hatred and pathetic comments for you, Go post on C and ugly witch videos and show them your love, they need it
So false! She denied them proper motherly care by her bizarre, unstable and ultimately fatal misbehaviour. She was a walking, talking disaster. jacobitejimwins She did more to help the suffering people in the world than any royal in the 20th century. She effected the public’s perceptions of terminal illnesses such as AIDS, cancer, leprosy, producing a lasting legacy that has reverberated until this day. Please don’t assume someone doesn’t have a clue about what this woman did when the information is there for all to see.
Cade C. With respect.....I’d do everything for charity if I was royalty, wouldn’t you? It was her job to pick charities, and give them profiles. I’m just saying, it was her job! She picked great charities to support. The two sons are doing the exact same thing now. That is what they’re supposed to do as Royal family members. Diana still received an allowance for her charity work after the divorce.
I was talking to my mom earlier about her, she said that she was the only person in the royal family that she truly loved and paid attention to. I see why now.
Diana is the only royal I have ever liked too! she is just super cute and adorable, I just want to hug her! If there's one person I want to meet up in heaven, it's definitely her!
"Anyone who loves someone, would obviously be very concerned about it." That is such a subtle answer to avoid saying he wasn't perhaps as concerned as he should have been
She always got the message across without having to be super bold in her wording. For instance her saying “he had gone back to his lady” instead of “Charles was cheating on me with Camilla again”. She knew she had to be careful.
Worse she's flat out saying she was unloved and he treated his not loving her as just another one of her problems so she was blamed for everything. You hear about teens with eating disorders or cutting now like she is describing and you wonder how their parents can neglect to notice too. She seemed to have pretty good self esteem prior to marrying him too.
Poor woman, all she needed was love, and the royal family crushed her instead. She was brave enough to open up abt what happened to her and talk about her depression.
I loved princess Diana, so graceful and sweet, but that fucking interviewer I can’t stand his fucking ass . He took down Michael Jackson with that interview on ABC, will never forget.
It wasn’t not a sin after her divorce to keep physical relationship with Emad El-Din Mohamed Abdel Mena'em Fayed Egyptian royal family but unfortunately M16 and the royal family killed her in Paris 1997 with his partner. It wasn’t an accident also confirmed by ISI and mossad.
Does anyone marry into the royal family in search of true love? Doubtful. Finding true love and getting engaged after 3 dates? Paleaseeee. She knew it wasn't love from the beginning but then expected it later on..
+@@beverlyjohn6447: LOL! MJ created his own drama and mess and was much less stable than Diana. Bashir had so much fun fucking with Michael and laughed all the way to the bank. Diana was way too smart and way too dignified for Bashir to fuck with.
A princess made of today's rules. Yes. But the rules of being a princess are made centuries ago. The Queen was not allowed to be a Queen like Diana could have been!
It's a lyric of mine; having one magnificent, beautiful 'bird' or diamond, in this case Diana, and seeing across to the "greener side of the hill" and rather than realising this one 'bird' is worth more than the two in the bush, or on the "greener side", the man in question attempts to hit two birds with one stone by experiencing both the beautiful bird and the two in the bush. By being so destructive, in this analogy, rather than 'hitting two birds with one stone' the stone, instead, killed the most beautiful and most rare of the birds. A sad tale and an unimaginable waste.
"When no one's listening to you or u feel no one's listening to you, all sorts of things starts to happen" - princess diana My god! No words to describe this woman. There's so much pain in her eyes. It was too hard to watch a person talking about her life struggles so openly. she must have been in so much pain. And and I can't stop myself from saying this, but WHAT A BEAUTY! The world lost a gem on 31 aug 1997.
What baloney! She was a psychological mess and must have been a nightmare to live with or be married to and this interview proves it. This interview was the ultimate betrayal of her family, herself and the people of Britain - a total disgrace.
The way she speaks, the depth her eyes show. She is the person that has so much on her shoulder that we normally can't imagine. We hear people speak everyday, everywhere. Yet, i have never come across anybody even close to what Diana was. England would've been lucky to have her longer. What a loss it was, her death.
Princess Diana's intelligence cannot be overstated. She is just highly emotionally intelligent as well as academically intelligent. She's in tune with her self, her body, and the people around her as well as the people of our country. Just a one-of-a-kind treasure that the world really needs to return.
@@niamunt yeah, she definitely did not excel academically. I believe she didn't graduate whatever you call highschool in England. Or she got like english's version of america's GED I believe. She did not go to college either.
What you wanted the interviewer should have shouted and thrown questions on her? She was such a delicate lady and that was the right way to behave with her.
Don't recall ever seeing this interview but have come to it after watching "The Crown". What an empathic and deep person she comes across as, no wonder people loved her.
@@darren767 I don’t know why people keep saying it’s “fiction”, of course it is fictionalised in that no one could ever know the exact words shared in private conversations between two people but in terms of historical story beats, all the key elements I remember to be true from that time are present
@@damyanthelion the cast have said its fictional!......nobody disputes dates, locations, etc,....but the majority of the show is about personal interactions!....totally fictional!!
The thing is, there are always two sides to a story but when I listen to her, she appears to answer each question honestly and without avoiding the question. When you watch interviews with Charles, he avoids or consciously navigates his way around the difficult questions. This (in my opinion) is why she is so popular with the people. It’s what makes her more relatable to people because they feel a connection with her honesty and vulnerability.
Yes, she is very straightforward in how she answers but the media tried to portray this as 'being manipulative'. She just couldn't win. Unfortunately because Martin B is such a shady character, this whole interview is now being cancelled by BBC and they have promised to never show it again, and have apologised to the royal family for upsetting them.
Because she has nothing to hide. She's being honest. She said herself "I saw a divorce occur, I didn't want to have it happen here as well." And not just for her, but for her kids. She did not want the same.
Diana surely had a heart made of gold. Clive James once told: "When Diana walked into a hospital ward, everyone in it recognised her as one of them, because she treated them as if they could have been her. They were her. She was just their souls, free for a day, in a beautiful body that walked so straight and breathed so easily. The sick, she would often say, were more real to her than the well: their guard was down, they were themselves."
She lies and manipulates people. It was all good for her while she had all privileges and attention that Royal life brought to her. When the marriage crumbled, she decided to portray herself as an innocent victim and gain the popularity and attention in that way, because she was illiterate and uneducated, unable to succeed in a fair way.
This is probably the classiest interview in terms of the gentleman interviewing her and how he really heard her and listened. Diana was so beautiful and had such grace. I often wonder what amazing things she would have accomplished had she lived.
This is a great comment & I agree with everything you said. This interviewer was amazing here. He seemed to genuinely care and try not to overstep boundaries. This lady went through so much. She was such a GEM. 👊👊✌
Martin Bashir is the interviewer and he is a really shitty person, I think that Diana herself said something along the lines of doing this interview with Martin was a mistake.
Bashir is absolutely awful. He’s nice to the ppl he interviews on camera but then turns around and talks shit about them and tries to portray them in a bad light. He only used Diana to become more famous. Look what he did to Michael Jackson. He’s absolutely awful!
She is the very definition of a lady. Saying she is means she is still alive in our hearts. Notice the poise her voice her state of mind . Every thing so perfect. She is so beautiful not just from outside but from inside as well. Her eyes speak a whole lots of world. The agony the loneliness and complete honesty. You live in our hearts forever lady Diana and we love you forever.
Utter baloney! She was a psychological mess and must have been a nightmare to live with or be married to and this interview proves it. Talk about bologna! Why do you think that is? She was used as a princess because Camilla was off limits. At 19 years old they set her up. She loved her husband only he used her for children and carried on his affair with that women. That's what destroyed Diana and turned her into a mess.
Talk about spaghetti bolognese... the fact is that Diana destroyed herself because of her own manipulation, monumental emotional problems and attention-seeking egoism. She let herself run out of control and that eventually led to her death at the hands of her spoilt brat boyfriend and his drunk driver. But she chose to go there.
I often imagine what she would do now, the support she'd be for Harry and William, their wives and the kids. It really breaks my heart that she's gone.
They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and this interview truly portrays that. I felt so drawn to Diana throughout this candid video, so captivated by her honesty, that I cried. The world is a lesser place without her presence, but a better one because she was
Sarah ferguson said she was the best princess there's. Being able to undergo so much pain yet maintain a public image like everything was alright and I totally agree.
@@glen7318 I mean apparently their friends they went out skiing so I don't know and Diana seems like the type of person that once she gets along with someone who has similar interests with her she would like them and they seem like sisters so who knows
If Charles was my father, I will never ever forgive me for the way he treated her. She's not my mother, but watching this, broke my heart and I'm crying.
Charles had no other chance! He had to follow the rules - he never had a chance of his own happiness at this time. Because duty comes first. Duty never cares about what u want as person it cares about what the crown wants in order to survive.
the family arranged Camilla's marriage to her current ex husband so Charles doesn't marry her and they got him to marry Diana. During that time, the future crown couldn't get divorced or marry a divorcee, so he couldn't marry Camilla and made Diana's life hell. He was initially victim but he made Diana a poor victim too. RIP.
@@Surfing1709 He had a choice NOT to torture Princess Diana! They were both dealt a horrid hand and he KNEW that they were both forced, so why treat Princess Diana as though she was the issue. Charles is a dirty man - he could have treated her better. She was also a victim!
Duty? He did nothing special. Only travelling and visiting countries. The queen has a duty, he was just a prince. Queen Elizabeth loved Diana. She loved how people react to her. However, Camila and Charles wanted to push Diana to suicide.
She was a fierce woman and she took the royals head on, she was a fighter; and she did it all for her children to have as normal of life as possible and to be a good example to her people. That's a true Queen! 💐👑❤️🙌🏼👏🏼

You have no idea whether or not she was a "lovely" person and one cannot "feel" that someone is in a better place. If you think you can, then you are self-delusional. I love how open she was about her issues because it wasn’t normal to just be so open about things like that especially with the position she was in. Such a strong and classy woman 💕💕💕💕
I see her trying to controll her smile/laugh several times. Don't like that unnatural move of her head looking up like an innocent 18 year old... famously interpreted as a "painful" look but I find it manipulative.
Ronna Aa, At no point in the interview does Diana look sad, or come near tears. She drops her head forward and looks from under her brows, showing the lower whites of her eyes. If this is done with a raised, crinkled brow and a very sad mouth, it CAN be a sign of extreme humility, like a puppy saying "I am sorry I ate you slipper!" On the other hand, when the person has a scowl, it is a sign of aggression, like a bull about to charge. Or if the person rarely blinks and has a slight smile, it indicates they are very watchful, mindful of their exact words and probably lying their head off. In the case of Diana, she is NOT humble and apologetic. And she is NOT bullying the reporter that she has invited in. She is being very careful to give all her carefully-planned and very deceitful answers. Every time she delivers her lines (carefully designed to criticise the Royal Family, and get sympathy for herself) then she gives a little smile of satisfaction. She is doing a very very good job at making herself look like the VICTIM of the Royal Family. THAT is her aim.
Heather Rose, turn the sound off, and WATCH her. Recognise a truly manipulative and narcissistic person when you see one. You will NEVER get a better example than this.
She was absolutely startling gorgeous. And what I loved about her was just her. Her eyes spoke before she did. Her voice. Everything about her. She was just awesome❤️
How can William and Harry even stand to look at the people around them knowing full well that they all made the life of their loving and good hearted mother such a misery and that whether responsable or not, were glad that she was dead.
No one was 'glad' that Diana had died...don't be so callous. Not even Prince Fool Charles or Philip Imbecile were 'glad' that Diana was dead. Today, now that he's miserably married to the vacuous Marilyn Monroe imitation Camvapidmilla, Prince Fool Charles misses quiet, timid, intelligent Diana, even Diana's frequent crying spells.
+Catherine Murphy: Actually, now Wills and Kate are the new 'Firm' now...and Diana is smiling in pride from Heaven. Wills seems fairly content...a bit nervous at times because the spotlight is on him and Kate and their kids now. Also, he seems tense whenever he's around Prince Fool Charles or Camvapidmilla...because those two clowns still are carrying on with their nonsense. I think he's processed most of his pain and loss and now speaks fondly of his mum. The reason we don't see Harry around the Palace much.....? He's on the outs with both Prince Fool Charles and Camvapidmilla...and those two bozos essentially have disowned Harry, so Harry stays away from them. Thank Heaven Wills and Kate have their own residence with George and Charlotte, so Harry (and Meghan) can come visit his brother and his sister-in-law there without crossing paths with either Prince Fool Charles or his empty-headed wife. Queen Elizabeth is fed up with her son and with Camvapidmilla also, so she doesn't have too much to do with those two bozos outside of formal Royal events. Also, as of this year, both sons have commissioned a memorial statue in honor of their beloved mother to be built on the Kensington Palace this year, in honor of the twentieth year of her passing, her sacrifice for her people. The face of the 'Firm' has changed for the better, thanks largely to Diana's courage and her raising her sons so well. Actually, both sons are ahead of their years emotionally, thanks largely to the mature, dignified Diana. Both sons are exceptionally mature in refusing to allow themselves to be dragged into their immature father's nonsense. Harry's wise to stay away from both his fool of a father and from Camvapidmilla. Once Prince Fool Charles and Camvapidmilla die, Wills, Kate, Harry, and Meghan will be the new face of the entire Royal family.
Princess Diana was so real. She told her truth with such integrity, she was telling the world speak the truth and set yourself free. She was a strong human being who followed her heart and touched the hearts wherever she went. There is no one like her and there never be another one like her and she will never be forgotten.
You know, after watching this interview, I can see why Harry and Meghan decided to part ways with the royal family. The media can be so evil and I'm glad they were able to escape on time. I feel sorry for Diana, she didn't deserve to live that way.
I’m from America and this hurts me to watch Shes so soft and such a good soul it almost makes you want to cry she is the only one that has a bloodline that deserves to serve as kings and queens
Her responses are deep😩 damn May she rest well from all that she's ever had to go through.She's a Remarkable women she was and forever will be remembered as such . 💕
It's makes my blood boil how such a beautiful woman would have to endure so much and more to come. How understated and undermined she was despite her numerous acts of charity and humanity ❤ I just wish she was alive today to see the change In today's society and how revered she is amongst us all. It's okay for Charles to love Camilla but not for her to love Dodi, how tragic. We love you so much Diana and still do❤
I watched this having realised I knew essentially nothing about such an iconic figure, but wow. She's a much more interesting woman than she's often portrayed as being. This was pretty damned moving.
Diana's only "problem" was that she was a human being. A sensitive, kind, authentic human being. She always was too good for Charles. I really wish things had turned out better for her, she deserved it with all the charitable work she did through those difficult years of depression and bulimia. I'm not surprised Harry and Meghan have chosen to distance themselves - probably a smart move.
She should never marry Charles in the first place if she cant cope especially after she found that Charles had a bracelet for Camila on the eve of the marriaģe she should called the marriage off I believe she would be alive today
@@anntan8045 she was a 19 yo girl with dreams and hopes. At 19 I probably would've too. Charles was freaking 32. A total grown ass adult. He should've done and known better.
I admire how honest she is about everything. Most people Generally giving an interview play with words or avoid question by giving long useless answers. But she's so straight forward and open about it all and simply and gracefully answers all the questions. RIP Lady Diana
+M&M Papaya there is no ugly horses, only ugly people. and actually you're doing them a big favor by calling them horses. I'm offended😟 b/c i love horses! 😜😝😛
Diana will always be an icon of style, grace, empathy, compassion, and humanity. She was truly beautiful and way too good for that horrible family. I miss her so much. ❤
It's painful to hear that she was scolded for "wasting food" instead of receiving help for what is a severe mental illness. Tragically that kind of reaction to eating disorders is still common; she was so brave to talk about this and she did so with elegant simplicity.
Diana was binge eating and purging multiple times a day on the honeymoon. She had unrealistic expectations and was disappointed and angry. She had a physically destructive outburst, and Charles was alarmed. Charles found a therapist for Diana before the honeymoon was over. Diana refused therapy. Charles had a number of doctors see Diana trying to help her. Most of the doctors diagnosed Diana with extreme depression and bulimia. In 1981, a doctor diagnosed Diana with borderline personality disorder (BPD). BPD is thought to be caused by childhood trauma. Diana was traumatized by her parents' fighting and divorce. Her mother left when Diana was age 6. She was emotionally neglected. She talked about her childhood and said she felt unwanted and unloved. Diana had many of the traits and symptoms of BPD. She was prone to mood swings, bulimia, self-mutilation, jealousy, paranoia, lying, and poor judgment. She was very emotionally needy and emotionally immature. She had difficulty controlling her emotions. She would threaten self-harm to get attention. She attempted suicide when she was pregnant with William. I believe Charles was sympathetic at first but became irritated and disgusted by Diana's bulimia and other self-destructive behaviors. Especially since she refused professional help. Their relationship became increasingly toxic, and both were miserable by 1985. It was in 1985 that Diana performed her dance on public stage in the revealing white dress, she knew Charles would be embarrassed. It was also in 1985 that Diana became involved with her bodyguard, Barry Mannakee. Charles became aware of Diana's involvement with her bodyguard in 1986. Charles ended his intimate relationship with Diana in 1986 to protect the royal line of succession. Otherwise it would be possible for Diana to have a child by another man and pass the child off as an heir to the throne. That would be high treason. Diana's tell-all book and her BBC Panorama interview were intended to hurt and undermine Charles. Both are examples of Diana's contribution to the toxicity in the relationship and poor judgment. Diana said what she wanted people to believe, and it was extremely biased and very one-sided. Some of what she said was lies. She didn't like Balmoral and countryside living. Diana liked London. According to her butler, she never fully overcame her bulimia. She was still struggling with depression, bulimia, insomnia, paranoia, and BPD. She had been eventually treated for depression and bulimia. Diana talked about her depression and bulimia on multiple occasions. I think she was hypocritical when she implied Camilla caused the problems in their marriage. Diana was the OTHER WOMAN in Will Carling's and Oliver Hoare's marriages. Diana caused Will Carling's divorce. She attempted to break up Oliver Hoare's marriage. She knowingly hurt their wives. In 1994, Oliver ended their affair, Diana behaved like a lovesick teenager and made over 300 crank phone calls to his home day and night. There is no justification or excuse for Diana to have affairs with married men. Diana did what she wanted to do. ~~~~ The BBC Panorama interview prompted the queen to request the divorce. Basically, Diana was fired from her position in the royal family for undermining Charles, sharing the family dirty laundry with the public, and being disloyal to the monarchy. Diana was not a supportive and loyal member of the royal family. In her effort to destroy Charles's reputation, she risked damaging the monarchy and William's future. William was teased by his classmates after the BBC Panorama interview aired. Doing the interview was in very poor judgment. Good parents protect their children from scandalous information. Diana was the source of the scandalous information that upset William. He was 13 and had better sense than to share such information with the public.
@@karlamccullough5319 I appreciate you offering this history because I am ignorant of, and generally uninterested in, the royal family. However, mental illnesses are just that - illnesses - not character flaws or wilful choices. Scolding someone who is bulimic for wasting food is abhorrent regardless of their other behaviour or their willing or unwillingness to seek treatment. I can't find any evidence that Diana was ever diagnosed with BPD, only speculation. Can you cite a reference for that claim?
@katkatkatkat463 There are articles and books written about Diana's mental health. One of the books is Diana in Search of Herself by Sally Bedell Smith. I read a number of articles about Diana's mental problems and BPD in general. I read that there are 9 traits and symptoms of BPD. Diana had many of the traits and symptoms. Having 5 is considered enough to be diagnosed with BPD. One of the articles I read was about when Charles was alarmed on the honeymoon. He had a number of doctors see Diana trying to help her. One of the doctors diagnosed Diana with BPD. The royal family was upset, and there are genetic factors associated with BPD. It's difficult to say if Diana was actually "shamed" for wasting food. It may have been her perception that she was mistreated. Her self-destructive behaviors were an issue in the marriage. Diana attempted suicide when she was pregnant with William. I think Charles was sympathetic at first but became irritated and disgusted by Diana's self-destructive behaviors, especially since she refused professional help. I read about one time when Charles saw her stuffing her face, he said something like, "I suppose I'm going to see that when it comes up later on?" Not a very kind remark. Another time when Diana had not kept any food in for a few days, she was faint and wanted attention. She was doing the drama queen thing. Charles said, "Go faint somewhere else." Diana's bulimia was severe. Severe bulimia can cause nutritional deficiencies and irrational thinking. Severe bulimia can cause damage to internal organs including the heart. Approximately 5% of people with eating disorders commit suicide. Mentally healthy people do not have eating disorders. It's difficult to live with mentally ill and self-destructive people. Diana was prone to mood swings, bulimia, self-mutilation, jealousy, destructive outbursts, paranoia, lying, and poor judgment. She often made impulsive decisions. I read Charles saw a therapist during the marriage to cope with Diana's mental problems. I encourage you to do some research.
sometimes people will help you by being tough. some people can take the toughness; they’ll buck up and accept the challenge. others are not able to. my sister can only buck up if you talk to her tough. because she sees it as a challenge and it makes her overcome her pity party or whatever. my mom is not one of those. you have to appeal to her intellect. she can’t take it rough because she just retreats into her shell, and you feel bad. maybe Diana was one of those that couldn’t buck up.
No amount of attention would have been enough for Diana. Her dream wash to be queen she wanted what she saw as the highest job with all the prestige and all the admiration that goes with it. Diana had serious mental health problems. It would have to be difficult for Charles and the R F. To cope with.

this interview is a fraud and highly manipulative.

It's a beautiful experience!!
.....just to think that many have forgotten this interview which shows this beautiful soul was under so much pressure and vicious attack from her own country and now we see her son Harry.....going through the same.....against the same negative power.
Callum Lynn Thanks so much for sharing this info because it really gives me some proof that she was indeed a very loving person - at least when it came to dealing with the public.

That is such a subtle answer to avoid saying he wasn't perhaps as concerned as he should have been

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, but only one bird died from the stone
Matt Shillam explain that very intriguing and how does it have to do with Diana?
It's a lyric of mine; having one magnificent, beautiful 'bird' or diamond, in this case Diana, and seeing across to the "greener side of the hill" and rather than realising this one 'bird' is worth more than the two in the bush, or on the "greener side", the man in question attempts to hit two birds with one stone by experiencing both the beautiful bird and the two in the bush. By being so destructive, in this analogy, rather than 'hitting two birds with one stone' the stone, instead, killed the most beautiful and most rare of the birds. A sad tale and an unimaginable waste.

She was just their souls, free for a day, in a beautiful body that walked so straight and breathed so easily. The sick, she would often say, were more real to her than the well: their guard was down, they were themselves."

You have no idea whether or not she was a "lovely" person and one cannot "feel" that someone is in a better place. If you think you can, then you are self-delusional. This interview was the ultimate betrayal of her family, herself and the people of Britain - a total disgrace.
jacobitejimwins :Hm...to much time and efort you spend to trash her. Are you paid by the word?This is hard worked money.Good for you Sir!😎I only hope they pay you cash ,because direct deposit can be trailed
Come back when you have something useful to say, Mr Know-nothing.
Her eyes. Especially at the end of her statements - so full of soul, so intense.
Man, she was gorgeous. Big beautiful eyes and the cutest shy little smile. Absolutely stunning.
RIP Real Queen!! You will be missed forever!!
I love how open she was about her issues because it wasn’t normal to just be so open about things like that especially with the position she was in. Such a strong and classy woman 💕💕💕💕
Martin Bashir and Matt Lauer should be held accountable for what they did to MJ, Britney and Princess Diana.
"She won't go quietly". She made an impact on the world. A true, pure soul.
She tried hard to controle her tears from her sad eyes
I see her trying to controll her smile/laugh several times. Don't like that unnatural move of her head looking up like an innocent 18 year old... famously interpreted as a "painful" look but I find it manipulative.
@@verabolton ITS NATURAL. SHES REAL. YOUR ISSUE.
Ronna Aa,
At no point in the interview does Diana look sad, or come near tears.
She drops her head forward and looks from under her brows, showing the lower whites of her eyes.
If this is done with a raised, crinkled brow and a very sad mouth, it CAN be a sign of extreme humility, like a puppy saying "I am sorry I ate you slipper!"
On the other hand, when the person has a scowl, it is a sign of aggression, like a bull about to charge.
@@MandyJMaddison STUPID BITCH
Heather Rose, turn the sound off, and WATCH her.
Recognise a truly manipulative and narcissistic person when you see one.
You will NEVER get a better example than this.
She has the loveliest softest voice, God rest her soul ❤️
Feel so sad for her,
IKR. BTW Matt Lauer, Diane Sawyer, Martin Bashir and Jian Ghomeshi owe Britney, Whitney, Billy Bob Thornton and MJ apologies.
Maybe they're more familiar with the situation than you? Crazy right?
No one was 'glad' that Diana had died...don't be so callous.
Not even Prince Fool Charles or Philip Imbecile were 'glad' that Diana was dead.
Today, now that he's miserably married to the vacuous Marilyn Monroe imitation Camvapidmilla, Prince Fool Charles misses quiet, timid, intelligent Diana, even Diana's frequent crying spells.
+Catherine Murphy:
Actually, now Wills and Kate are the new 'Firm' now...and Diana is smiling in pride from Heaven.
LOL...
Coryraisa Bitch don't even compare her to Marilyn Monroe ! On her best fucking day there is no comparison!!!!!!!!! Marilyn is an icon!!!!!!!!
What an intelligent woman.
I wish she was here today.... She's truly a princess of the people 🤍🤍🤍
Princess Diana was so real.
I’m from America and this hurts me to watch Shes so soft and such a good soul it almost makes you want to cry she is the only one that has a bloodline that deserves to serve as kings and queens
nonsense
Her responses are deep😩 damn
May she rest well from all that she's ever had to go through.She's a Remarkable women she was and forever will be remembered as such . 💕
she look like a angel
onehandgamer 13 Sadly now she is one
Lrdcharlton You may now go fuck yourself
It's makes my blood boil how such a beautiful woman would have to endure so much and more to come. How understated and undermined she was despite her numerous acts of charity and humanity ❤ I just wish she was alive today to see the change In today's society and how revered she is amongst us all. It's okay for Charles to love Camilla but not for her to love Dodi, how tragic. We love you so much Diana and still do❤
I watched this having realised I knew essentially nothing about such an iconic figure, but wow. She's a much more interesting woman than she's often portrayed as being. This was pretty damned moving.
A Disappointed Horse Same here hun
@a disappointed horse Hi Camilla
LOL! The horse is smarter than Camvapidmilla, though.
she always has been interesting and has always been portrayed as such
Diana's only "problem" was that she was a human being.
@@anntan8045 she was 19! he should have never targeted her.
She loved Charles so much. Unfortunately he didn't love her! He'd rather be with that horse!
Sad but true.
Lol. yup. the Afghan Hound as I call her.
Princess Diana was absolutely beautiful. So gorgeous. He loved that ugly horse Camilla. What an ugly horse himself.... Rest in peace princess Diana😇
Sharon Hopton ...lmfao😂
+M&M Papaya there is no ugly horses, only ugly people. and actually you're doing them a big favor by calling them horses. I'm offended😟 b/c i love horses! 😜😝😛
My God! her voice, her smile, her eyes, her way of talking. She is indeed queen of people in people's heart.
Diana will always be an icon of style, grace, empathy, compassion, and humanity. She was truly beautiful and way too good for that horrible family. I miss her so much. ❤
They where afraid about her, she was saying the truth, that is why they killed her
Camilla seemed to be very cunning women who didn't liked the popularity what Diana was getting.
And Charles is/ was coward.
Yes they killed her so sad,
They didn't kill her. Stop with this nonsense. Even Diana's friend told the letter about a coming "car accident" was forged, and it was proved.
@@frname7665 the police looked into all the conspiracy theories and proved it was an accident.
Yes.
She was such a beauty . Gorgeous . Very attractive woman
It's painful to hear that she was scolded for "wasting food" instead of receiving help for what is a severe mental illness. Tragically that kind of reaction to eating disorders is still common; she was so brave to talk about this and she did so with elegant simplicity.
She was recieving help.
~~~~
The BBC Panorama interview prompted the queen to request the divorce. Basically, Diana was fired from her position in the royal family for undermining Charles, sharing the family dirty laundry with the public, and being disloyal to the monarchy.
Diana was not a supportive and loyal member of the royal family. In her effort to destroy Charles's reputation, she risked damaging the monarchy and William's future. William was teased by his classmates after the BBC Panorama interview aired. Doing the interview was in very poor judgment. Good parents protect their children from scandalous information. Diana was the source of the scandalous information that upset William. He was 13 and had better sense than to share such information with the public.
@@karlamccullough5319 I appreciate you offering this history because I am ignorant of, and generally uninterested in, the royal family. However, mental illnesses are just that - illnesses - not character flaws or wilful choices. Scolding someone who is bulimic for wasting food is abhorrent regardless of their other behaviour or their willing or unwillingness to seek treatment. I can't find any evidence that Diana was ever diagnosed with BPD, only speculation. Can you cite a reference for that claim?
@katkatkatkat463
There are articles and books written about Diana's mental health. One of the books is Diana in Search of Herself by Sally Bedell Smith. I read a number of articles about Diana's mental problems and BPD in general. I read that there are 9 traits and symptoms of BPD. Diana had many of the traits and symptoms. Having 5 is considered enough to be diagnosed with BPD.
One of the articles I read was about when Charles was alarmed on the honeymoon. He had a number of doctors see Diana trying to help her. One of the doctors diagnosed Diana with BPD. The royal family was upset, and there are genetic factors associated with BPD.
It's difficult to say if Diana was actually "shamed" for wasting food. It may have been her perception that she was mistreated. Her self-destructive behaviors were an issue in the marriage. Diana attempted suicide when she was pregnant with William. I think Charles was sympathetic at first but became irritated and disgusted by Diana's self-destructive behaviors, especially since she refused professional help.
I read about one time when Charles saw her stuffing her face, he said something like, "I suppose I'm going to see that when it comes up later on?" Not a very kind remark.
Another time when Diana had not kept any food in for a few days, she was faint and wanted attention. She was doing the drama queen thing. Charles said, "Go faint somewhere else." Diana's bulimia was severe. Severe bulimia can cause nutritional deficiencies and irrational thinking. Severe bulimia can cause damage to internal organs including the heart. Approximately 5% of people with eating disorders commit suicide. Mentally healthy people do not have eating disorders.
It's difficult to live with mentally ill and self-destructive people. Diana was prone to mood swings, bulimia, self-mutilation, jealousy, destructive outbursts, paranoia, lying, and poor judgment. She often made impulsive decisions.
I read Charles saw a therapist during the marriage to cope with Diana's mental problems.
I encourage you to do some research.
sometimes people will help you by being tough. some people can take the toughness; they’ll buck up and accept the challenge. others are not able to. my sister can only buck up if you talk to her tough. because she sees it as a challenge and it makes her overcome her pity party or whatever. my mom is not one of those. you have to appeal to her intellect. she can’t take it rough because she just retreats into her shell, and you feel bad. maybe Diana was one of those that couldn’t buck up.
So much pain. Can you imagine Charles even said she is wasting food.
She was such a beautiful person in all ways, all her charity work, loving nature, and being an incredible mother. I miss her.
I love her and how she's so open and real.
I just imagine Prince Harry watching this... I don't blame he and Meghan for wanting to leave that cursed royal family
Mary Anthony Yeah I can understand
Mary Anthony agreed that’s the resentment Harry feels towards these Royals!! Ran away with his own family
I think that’s one of his main reasons. I’m sure he’s watched a documentary or two
But she willingly married one lol. She is a hypocrite
Yes, notice how the media show incite the demonising of Harry. So, glad he has gone to live his true life. Up the royals.
a strong woman with a beautiful heart and soft voice i admire her more
She lies and manipulates people. It was all good for her while she had all privileges and attention that Royal life brought to her. When the marriage crumbled, she decided to portray herself as an innocent victim and gain the popularity and attention in that way, because she was illiterate and uneducated, unable to succeed in a fair way.
Rest in peace Diana. (1961-1997)
She seems to me like the one and only celebrity in the world sincerely shy and 100% down to earth. You can't fake your behavior that much, no way
Authenticity at its greatest. She deserved much more than the world could give her.
2:05 her eyes were brimming with tears and she was overwhelmed with emotional pain but she fought it back.. And concentrated on the next question 😢😢
No amount of attention would have been enough for Diana. Her dream wash to be queen she wanted what she saw as the highest job with all the prestige and all the admiration that goes with it. Diana had serious mental health problems. It would have to be difficult for Charles and the R F. To cope with.
I am glad that Harry and his wife got out.
And I pray they stay away from that toxicity.
