If they cut the swap time between thorns and blossoms I kinda think LW would be OP. As it stands right now you have to be super careful about when you DPS and when you heal. That time in swapping from DPS to healing can mean the difference in saving a teammate or not. At least for me. I just wish it was quicker
I don't think it should? Lifeweaver has been my main-to-go when playing support since I went back to the back when his season launched, and I already freaking love his kit. Of course you have to be careful, that's the point, even with his abilities (dash too often and you might not be able to use it to heal mid-fight where it could have helped you survive, grip a mate when it's not really needed and you might not be able to save one who is against everyone, etc etc). It would be cool yeah, but I think it's already good enough as it is. At least, we don't have to change the weapon with the hotkeys anymore...
theres def opportunities to do dmg as lifeweaver in lower ranks, but if your teammates are out of position, which is more common in lower ranks, youre gonna have to spam heal them to keep them alive if you dont have your pull. Plus your other support might not have as much healingg, like a zen or something. so doing damage vs. not being able to do dmg depends alot on your team. edit: or you pull them and they run straight back into the enemy team anyways, happens all the time lmao
I just started usin lifequeefer this season and im only silver 2 or something and I feel my petal and grip are just useless. No one uses my petal and if i lifegrip someone its like theyre stick(console) is stuck in the forward position.
Regarding low Elos taking more damage: yes they do because tanks don’t know how to use natural cover, mismanage abilities, ego peak at crit hp… BUT staying alive is key to getting damage. What he said about the reset fights and farming damage is totally true. The timing of damage is also key. You can’t do it when you see your tank getting rolled- but if there’s a pick, it’s easier snowball and wipe the rest of the team with some extra weaver damage. Also- trust your other support! Psps: weaver takes forever to reload his heal, so you may as well shoot and let the auto reload kick in. Provide constant value
love your content dude, been goin thru alot of personal stuff and watching your vids and streams really do brighten my day. Keep up the good work, i was the dentist btw from your stream
Literally had what I think was my best LW game the other day with more Damage and Heals than all the supports in the Lobby (a Moira/Ana/Kiri) with the least deaths. Truly DPS LW has no fear even into a Soldier or Sojourn and provides hella value. But yea, I get so much more confidence with LW watching these aggro plays lol
@12:06 this is just false. your statement of you dealing more dmg in low elo is a counter to your own point. you deal more damage because people are more out of position. even in diamond people dont know how to position. tanks just running up points with no cover, healers not standing behind walls, dps just running in for fun. its infinitely easier to play healer in higher elos. just like it is infinitely easier to play tank in higher elos. dps is the only role that is equally as easy in every elo.
@@TheSauceBoss_OW easy relative to elo. never did I say its easier to play in high elo. players become more in tune with the game at high elo which ends up making your roles easier to deal with in terms of healing and damage. its just like in WoW mythic dungeons. super hard healing in lower dungeons because noone understands positioning or when to use abilities but the higher you get in the dungeons, the easier healing becomes because people are thinking outside of just doing damage. but thats where the skill part comes more into play. youre cracked at healing so you have freed your mind of the thought of who to heal or when to heal, you just know. lower elo players dont have that free mental stack so they cant see pockets where dmg is fine on top of their team not understanding to stand behind a damn wall once in a blue moon

I never thought about changing something like that, Blizzard could learn something from you

Congrats on 12k subs man! You deserve so much more
What had me rolling is the enemy dps just malding over the game while my man’s just chilling on lifeweaver.

It is extreme cope thinking that it is easier to play in higher elos I won't lie. Not sure how to even respond.
