At 8 years old I saw my first professional play with Vincent Price as Captain Hook. I can still vividly remember his prancing and gestures trying to discourage the audience from clapping to bring Tinkerbell back to life. I’ve been a fan of Prices ever since.
Discovering these old time radio programs is like discovering King Solomon's Mines. Especially the shows with Peter Lorre and Vincent Price. I swear, these programs are far superior to much of the crap in today's television.

A treasure for the world. We are so lucky so many of his performances survive (although they’re still not enough). Could listen to his voice, intonation & wry manner all night. Fortunately; thanks to Late Horror Show and others; we can. Thanks so much for posting these price-less radio shows. Most modern tv could learn from the skilful scripts and folio and brilliant voice performances. No racing through. No mumbling. No foul language. Clever, understated innuendo and sexiness, not panting, moaning & groaning. Great banter, respect, flirting and love between men and women. A glimpse into a simpler, slower more thoughtful time. Less materialistic. Less vulgar. I’m probably being a little overly nostalgic….. but falling asleep to these compilations somehow brings me some inner peace and calm. Thanks once more, so much, to whomever posted these. Peace to all. 🙏

Agreed. It’s on many of these compilations and it drives me nuts. Not all of them have time stamps to easily skip it. It’s completely out of keeping with the shows. Imho.
