I was researching some mold stuff for latex masks, I want to do slip casting for a Mushroomhead mask I 3d modeled and printed! This seems to be a really good way to make them without opening the mold!

Also, every pull is not 13-20 % smaller than the last I was talking about mold to mold. That was elaborated on quite a bit when filming but didn’t make the edit lol I’m sorry I see these when you all do. I’ll try to have some better quality control on these quick tip videos in the future. Always reach out if you have any questions or need clarification on anything. And these skulls were sculpted by my friend Justin Mabry. We’ll have a cool video of me painting 24 of them very soon.

I’d just like to add that once it’s done draining you need to let it dry for quite some time with a fan on it (to speed things up) but depending on temperature and moisture in the air it could take anywhere from an hour or two to a whole day but I usually leave them drying over night. Then look and feel around for any parts that aren’t totally cured especially in the deep crevices that the fan may not have gotten to and then you can powder and pull. This video kinda makes it seem like you drain it and then pull it and I apologize for that lol another good rule of thumb if you’re not sure if it’s ready to pull is you can just wait til the mask starts to pull away from the mold which will take at least a day.

What should I use if I don’t have a airbrush for a Myers mask rehaul?
