I have a family member giving me a blue green time share that they have been paying for years to my knowledge. I believe the balance is paid in full. However it’s only 9500 points annually with a $1000 maintenance fee yearly. Is this worth even having ? After seeing your video it doesn’t seem like 9500 points gets me much. I would like to have some info on what’s being given to me.
    Thanks

In my opinion, it is not worth it!! I’ve owned for a few years now and it was not worth it to me and I do regret purchasing!! Some people do have good experiences, but for us the bad outweighs the good and I don’t get to vacation whenever I want to.

If you're retiring soon, work from home, have adult children and have the charter certificate then YOU'RE GOOD! IF YOU are not flexible to travel at any time it's worthless. You are being given enough points to basically travel 2 to 3 times a yr. I currently only own 4000 pts and that's enough to go once a yr. I get my most travel with using RCI/ no points but pay roughly $395 for 7 days OR $89 for 2 days or more. If you travel alot without this before you save money, if you never travel but occasionally then don't. Maintenance fees are basically paying someone else to upkeep your property, update it and cleaning it. If you rent or own a home it's always gonna be a fee. Nothing is free😂 EVER!! Enjoy the gift of vacation.

@slickrick2, You can still get into many of their resorts with that points for sure. All you would need to do is to Google the Bluegreen points chart or owners manual and you can see all the different properties you have access to and what that number of points can get you. But most of the resorts will get you at least a week. You could also trade it through RCI and probably get one and two bedroom places at many different properties. I have no idea.
But basically you own a one bedroom every year. Or you could stretch it out by just staying at the property Sunday through Friday and not staying Friday Saturday nights
