Gameplay Mechanic-wise, the alternate is my favorite killer. It’s cool how it can create so much confusion and chaos when it’s played right. I also like how the survivors also can’t tell whose playing as what survivor either.
if u want a direct counter, strong bonds reveals who is and isnt a real survivor. whenever u see a survivor, try knifing them, if its the killer they will die in a few swings. just be wary of any survivors that randomly appear, especially if its right after a down. for his spiders, you can one shot them with your knife. for his tentacles try to break line of sight. if slowed, your best bet is to try and get a good mine or lockpick off if caught by it.
Honestly, i play him more on his mimic side. His human side can lock doors.and disable objective, pair that with perks that trigger when knocking people, and it can make a pretty nasty chain reaction.
this was the first ever killer i played against, i was, kicking, screaming, and crying bc i definitely didnt die 2 minutes in i cant unsee the Shrine map as the map from chapter 3 (i think) of The Mimic ☠☠
The first slasher I went against was someone using the rockstar. I did actually get to the point of all generators being activated but then died. I was so confused on why the gens kept exploding 💀
I’ve witnessed the same type of players insult their ‘friends’ openly and calling everyone else on the server ‘losers’ for playing killer. They’re actual menaces to the community.

Honestly players like that should get their chat privileges taken away, today i saw a level 50 get shitted on by high level players because she wasn't used to playing as Alternate and they were making fun of her saying how the spiders (Alternate's skill or something) were doing a better job than her it was so rude asf 😭🙏

Alternate cannot replicate weapons so just ask everyone to have one weapon on their hand

Very strong mobs that walk around and have a bunch of health. Like those tall dudes if you get close to them they scream and one shot you
