@@oceanlover3530 We drove 8ok within 2.5 years of owning the first RV. We upgraded to the 2024 model because of the bigger batteries. We now can run the AC off the batteries. We no longer need a campground to plug in. We feel so free !!
We plan to return to Quartzsite, AZ and Southern CA in February or March of 2025. We hope to explore as many of the BLM lands and the Long Term Visitor Areas as we can.
Thank you! This was so informative. I've heard so much about Quartzite, of course, but never knew what it looked like up close. I wondered if you might share with me how you manage winterizing/de-winterizing. I live in Oregon and am getting my Ontour 2.0 de-winterized tomorrow. When I really think about it, it seems, to be safe, I will have it winterized from at least about October to mid-May each year. I enjoy Yellowstone in the fall, been to Canada in late August before when it snowed, and I just saw someone was in Colorado recently where it was 28. How do you two manage to explore year-round and yet keep the pipes safe?
Hello. During the first year we winterized in October and de-winterized in May. The second year, we got tired of winterizing and de-winterizing, so we stay winterized year round and never have to worry about pipes freezing. It helps that we have the Berkey water filter system which serve as our faucet.

Hi Sovann. I (Thavone) had you and many of subscribers in mind when I put this video together. Someday when you venture out with your RV / camper van , you might find the info useful. David was so mesmerized by the beautiful rainbow that he did not see the big hole in the ground. Nothing broken, he is still in one piece !! Thanks for asking.

@@oceanlover3530 We drove 8ok within 2.5 years of owning the first RV. We upgraded to the 2024 model because of the bigger batteries. We now can run the AC off the batteries. We no longer need a campground to plug in. We feel so free !!

Thank you! This was so informative. I've heard so much about Quartzite, of course, but never knew what it looked like up close. I wondered if you might share with me how you manage winterizing/de-winterizing. I live in Oregon and am getting my Ontour 2.0 de-winterized tomorrow. When I really think about it, it seems, to be safe, I will have it winterized from at least about October to mid-May each year. I enjoy Yellowstone in the fall, been to Canada in late August before when it snowed, and I just saw someone was in Colorado recently where it was 28. How do you two manage to explore year-round and yet keep the pipes safe?
Hello. During the first year we winterized in October and de-winterized in May. The second year, we got tired of winterizing and de-winterizing, so we stay winterized year round and never have to worry about pipes freezing. It helps that we have the Berkey water filter system which serve as our faucet.
