These deals have been getting really good. I got my dad a Samsung A35 for “free” as a Christmas gift. It cost me $87 in total for a month of service with Total wireless (Verizon network), taxes, and $3 to port a Google voice number to them. They will unlock it after two months, and it’s not required to pay a second month of service. Sure, a few hoops to jump through but $87 for a $300 phone on sale is nothing to scoff at!
9:58 If you disable the "Moto" app it gets rid of the bubble. That app is pretty much useless. Also, fun fact! If you have a Motorola device with a headphone jack, chances are they installed an FM radio app! Connect some headphones and surf the radio waves!
I'm currently, and right now daily driving the Samasung Galaxy A15, and it is so much better than the Motorola G Pure I had for 2 years. Plus the upside is I get 5G Unlimited for $45 a month and all I have in my area is Verizon tower for service. Definitely a 9/10 for me.
How long do you have to pay these plans, to unlock the phones? 1 month? 3 months? 6 months? 12 months? Can any of them switch to cheaper plans and still qualify to unlock? Or do any just have a calendar-time unlock, where you pay one month, wait 6 months, and it auto unlocks? I'm not saying I can't think up uses for a phone with no cell plan to use as a camera, a WiFi tablet, or running an app and display for some device like a backup camera or ODBII dongle in a car, a BlueTooth control app/display for an appliance, a lithium battery, an audio component, or whatever.. But I prefer having my utility/tablet phones unlocked and ready to activate (usually on Visible or Twigby in my case) if I break or lose one of my (two) activated phones.
It's hilarious that the G Play and the A15 have 90hz displays, but apple can't put anything but 60hz displays in the non pro iPhones that start at $800 😂💀
This Samsung Galaxy A15 5G is basically the best free phone ever also if you don't feel like paying the carrier, then trash the SIM card and problem solved
I just upgraded to an A15 from my One Plus N200 a few months ago, so yes. It's my daily driver phone. A bit upset as mine was $350 after activation, a phone case, a screen protector, a USB-C power brick, and wireless earbuds (which I really don't need...), but whatcha gonna do?
