Perfect summer cruiser, top down, radio turned up, kickin out the Jams and catchin a tan. Brings back memories of being a kid, my Mom loved convertibles and kept the top down all summer long. She had one just like this back in the day. R.I.P. Mom...😔
When I was a kid, my Dad had a car similar to this one! Many summer vacations, I practically grew up in the back seat!! The back seat was my couch, no seatbelts on, it wasn't a mandatory law back then. The good ole days, Gas .65¢ a gallon!
Good to have met you today Nick, we was there when you were getting the Impala ready for the test drive, nice Impala, I told you that you have the best job, driving all the car's, Pat and everyone was super nice, keep up the good work, glad you beat the rain.
Nick That hesitation is likely remedied with a filter replacement located where the fuel line connects into the carburetor. My friends and family all owned similar Chevys from 68 through 77 and they all clogged up eventually, causing the engine to bog down when you stepped on the throttle. Your mechanic is probably very familiar with that.
Hi Nick again from here in the D Michigan and Thanks so much for sharing this video of the 73Impala I absolutely adore the 73 body style & Convertible with 400 , hey if I had a pocket full of money I'd be on my way. ✌❤🤲🤩🐴😇😎
Beautiful car!!! What color would you call that? Is it green? Brown, root beer? Never the less I love it! Go ahead and ship her to me. Your check is in the mail!
My uncle had a red convertible Electra 225 Ole duece an a quarter! Had the straps that hung off the back bumper I used know what those were for but I forgot lol not the curb feelers but the strips off the bumper
My family had a 4 door Caprice beautiful riding car but a pig on gas mileage maybe 8-10 mpg city, 12-14 highway. Frost year of pollution control devices, non catalytic converters, it was a 4 bbl carb. Hesitation and carb popping was common even when new.
@@Nebulasecura Lol...I personally think anything bigger than a 22 is too much but to each his own. I'd probably do an SD Forged 20 inch Caprice replica on this. Anything bigger and you lose that comfy float that is my favorite thing about big cars.
@@Nebulasecura Yeah I'm not a fan of new style wheels on classics. I've seen exceptions but in general something about it just doesnt hit my eye right. The replicas that are coming on the market are a great compromise. You can fill out that wheel well some but keep the classic look.
Over rated Bobby! If you need the wipers then that means the top has to go up and the top should never be up on this unless your storing it for the winter!!

Those early to mid 70s were the last of the great style Impalas and Caprices in my opinion . A ragtop is a bonus !
Personally my favorite impala's the ones from The 1960s, 1990s, to the late 2000s
So true Danny!

Nice Donk Nick, she'll sell fast! 👍
Man that is one slick unit.
That is one beautiful land yacht! I would love to cruise around with the wife in that on some nice warm summer nights. I love the fender skirts too!
The shot of the underneath took 10 minutes that’s one long beast.
I tried that with my 75 Electra and half of it wouldn’t load into the cloud
Sweet Caprice, nice color too!😎
Thanks! 👍
Caprice before the G B platform. HUGE car.

It's a caprice
Yeah that rain sucked but hey at least I got this one knocked out before it came a pouring.
Wow! Now that is a classic! Absolutely super!
This car won’t last. It’s a hood classic.
Some one was buying it as he was doing the Video it already Sold
I literally was thinking exactly what you said.
Chevy loved the color brown in the 70s 🙋♂️ From Corvettes to Monte Carlo
olive green
My uncle had one of these red with white interior and a convertible he put a 454 in it himself that beast had plenty of torque 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
This is testing the limits of my financial discipline. This whole being a responsible adult thing is overrated.
Beautiful car. I believe the Oldsmobile delta 88 convertibles were based on this platform.
That is like the big brother to my car, this is the craziest thing I've seen in awhile.
This is a beautiful Caprice few fixes here and there and you will have a great car for the summer time
Woah, a 73 rag Caprice in that color. :D
Sweet , just change those rims 👍

Sweet 73
I wish I could have gotten this one.

Nice ride, needs a little love. I wonder what the original paint color was? I hope whoever buys it doesn't defile it by Donking it out.
It's already a Donk. A Donk is a 71-76 Caprice or Impala.
Very cool 😎 chevy cool Nick behind the wheel, great performance thanks Nick stay cool 😎 😎 😊 🤟

Man don't come on here with that ignorance!!!!!

40 dollars in gas is 10 gallons and that aircraft carrier gets about 10mpg.
Have a good evening.
🙂
Let me guess it's Biden fault and not war between Ukraine and Russia? Like I said ignorance
Reminds me of the car driven in drivers ed wasn't a convertible though
Thank god she doesn’t have oversized rims. I hate that trend so much
I'm not a gambling man but I'd bet it'll be wearing some in the near future.

This is SO Beautiful
That is a beautiful car. I would buy it in a second.
This car has shitloads of character. A Route 66 car for summer.
That's a rare beauty
I remember my dad having a 73 Caprice Classic came from the factory with a 454 fully loaded that was a sweet car

Beautiful car all it needs is a paint job and 28” rims
Yup , white with chrome an gold daytons on vogues
30k for a hooptie
Thats a decent price for a Donk (71-76 Impala or Caprice), in this condition, in today's market. It's some light work away from being a stunner.
Rust is never “light” work!
@@JamesBlue28 I think he could've pulled $40k from what I've been seeing. These prices on old schools are ridiculous
