I have a blog only. I am trying to be more consistent. I need to definitely work on that. Thanks for breaking these two down. I am glad that you find them to be about equal because I think the RUclips route would be hard for me.

You don’t have to do it! They really are pretty equal for me. They both have benefits but they both also have drawbacks. So the main thing is that what you gravitate towards is gonna be the best option for you

    Hey Becca
Thank you so much for all of the videos in relation to building a platform 🙏🏾
    Really appreciate them✨
I resonate with you when you said that you’re quieter off camera, made me giggle.
I want to do both a RUclips and blog. Because as you said there are some things that you can explain better in a video that typing
Maybe I’ll see how it goes🤞🏾 but you motivate me soo much! 🙏🏾✨
For anyone considering and doubting…go for it…there’s nothing like trial and error. Once you are having fun, that’s all that matters and eventually you’ll benefit from it so the things you think people will say doesn’t matter as it’s working ✨

Just go for it! It’s not as hard as you think, because once you type it out, making a video on the same thing is easy

I blog but not consistently. I wish I could do youtube but too scared to be in front of camera. Maybe in the future!

I know it’s not very popular but some of my favorite YT accounts don’t show their faces. They just focus more on what they’re sharing instead of sitting behind the camera. Of course it would maybe depend on what you’re wanting to share, though.

Yes I agree with the above comment and think about TikTok short clips, they don’t show their faces and those videos can be very thorough.
Much like you mentioned, you don’t want to do the camera thing and same here, you can start without it and eventually you’ll build an audience that cares and you’ll be comfortable enough to be in the camera.
But overall do what works for YOU!!!

You talk in front of a 20 to 30 people every single day that you are teaching. Just pretend of the camera is a student. It’s going to be horrible at the beginning and it will get better. You can go watch any RUclipsr at the very beginning and it was rough but they get better as time goes on

Agreed about there are some RUclips they don’t show their faces. It’s a bit harder to connect with those for that is an option if you really don’t want to. Also if you have Instagram showing up on stories is an easy way to get prepped for you too. You get used to talking to the camera and they disappear in 24 hours so if it was weird or awkward it’s not a huge deal

Is a blog the only way to build your email list? Where do you get most of your emails?

    • @BeccaDavis
      @BeccaDavis  2 года назад +1

Nope! I promote my email list on any platform that I have. So it’s in the description of my TpT resources it’s in my blog post it’s in my RUclips videos it’s in my Instagram link in bio. Put it everywhere because your email us is your most valuable asset
