I'm in love with the sketches towards the end of the video, around the 20 and 24 minute mark.
Absolutely brilliant; thank you for posting.

    Great lessons!
I have to say, although I have decent general ability in art, these poses are by far the most challenging thing I have attempted. Not an easy challenge at all!

There are many different approaches one can take to continuing a figure drawing such as this. Keep challenging yourself with new mediums, styles, or subjects; each new endeavor is an opportunity to learn and expand your artistic vocabulary. We would encourage you to visit our course catalog on our site to learn more.

New Masters Academy, I know this is a little too late... But do you guys remember what paper was the master using? Thanks

Awesome video. Can we get the name of those artists Vilppu mentioned in the video? There's one I haven't heard of before, and I'd like to check him out.

This video is scheduled to be captioned at which point we'll type out the names for you.

Maybe I missed some examples but I heard him mention Rembrandt and Hokusai for their use of brush in sketching. In case you couldn't wait for the captions :)
And I agree, it's an awesome tutorial.

Why do I get the feeling that on the last drawing, we weren't looking at the same pose that Glenn was? The photo was quite different from what was drawn.

Because you don't mindless copy referents. You study, take what you want from reference and draw by inspiration with decisions.

Still, is there any doubt that the drawing isn't 1000 more beautiful than the photo?
