Hi all, I am a Fulbright student from Afghanistan. I wanna give you a few tips based on my personal experience. Fulbright doesn't care about GPA much as long as its not too low, by this I mean, they don't expect you to have a 4.0 GPA. So, anything between 3 and 4 is great. Try for at least 100 score for TOEFL out of 120. Take the exam again if you score low for the first time, but a good tip is to take as many practice tests as possible before you take the actual tets. Don't panic and worry about a "Great Personal Statement" Just follow a smoothly transitioned and organised structure to put your story into words. Give it a great hook/start. Just keep it honest and simple. Don't exaggerate but also don't underestimate yourself and your educational and professional experiences. In Pakistan they don't tell us much in schools about the importance of job experience when you are still a student. You must have job experience on your CV. Mention anything, any small or big work and professional experiences you have. This step is more important than a great GPA, because even if Fulbright accepts you for the scholarship, the university where you will be placed later by the IIE and Fulbright, will ask you for your professional experience, they evaluate your CV for the work experience you have especially in the field/major you are applying for. Most of the times the university that's considering you for the admission, asks you especially about your work background in that specific field. So hey, why not just do an internship this summer ? Moreover, when you write your research objectives, be clear and realistic. Like, tell them what you wanna do with this degree, don't change your objectives once you write them down and send them to the fulbright. They stay like that. So be realistic as your goals/ objectives should be achievable and realistic. They may ask you again and again about them during university placement interviews by the universities that consider you for admission. Once you are a semifinalist, the next step that awaits you is an interview with a team that has members of Fulbright, IIE, TOEFL, GRE and an expert from your field of study. Be ready. The interview is easy. BaSic questions about your background ( Personal, educational and work ) and your "research objectives/goals" for wanting to peruse this degree. Remember, at this stage you have to know that Fulbright is not only an educational opportunity but a cultural one as well. So, convince them that you want to connect both countries and tighten the cultural ties and promote traditional and cultural values of both countries. Make them feel special because you must know that Fulbright is a "diversity and inclusion" program as well, it's about two countries connecting through their scholarly affairs. They may ask you follow up questions, don't worry be confident and tell them what makes best sense to you. Make sure you have good Internet. Good luck brothers and sisters.
Brother I have a few question regarding Fulbright After FSC we can apply or not It will take SAT GRE OR TOEFL which one Does they include math or not If we have not given any test like gre and only give the boards exam and we are eligible if we have scored 93 in matric and 94 percent in FSC
What do you think they did with these 2 changes ? Anything like any advantage we can have or anything we should take into account which could be a reason for these changes
FB has become a lot competitive now so basically they just want to focus on the top apps now hence they increased the gre threshold. This also tells u that gre is very important selection criteria for them

W/S yes you can apply if degree comes before december 2023. You can also apply to PT programs via Fulbright but no clinical specilization
