Shawn James - "When I'm Gone"

I’d like to think that I’ll be remembered for something good after I’m gone but the truth is that I’m just a man both good and bad. I’ve made many mistakes in my life but I’ve also learned many lessons and have evolved into a better person by learning from those errors.
No one is perfect and I truly don’t strive to be anymore.
I used to have unrelenting standards for myself and others. I still struggle with that way of thinking from time to time but I’ve made big strides to get away from those unhealthy patterns.
In the end, I want my music to give a voice to those who can’t find the words, to help release emotions for those who just can’t let go and to hopefully inspire some who are still on their way but don’t know how to get there.
