    Ordered one in February 2022, still waiting . Hoping Toyota starts building more soon. The wait times are completely ridiculous.

    Curious if you expect to see many shipments of Prius prime to land at your dealership or will it be like the RAV4 prime unicorn?

    Is it true the steering wheel can get in the way of seeing the display in front of you? And would you say the trunk space is worse or better than past Prius like 2019?

    Why has Toyota decided no to sell in the UK as the new DESIGN Prius will out sell the corolla easily and better mpg 🤔

    Still can’t find one, can’t order one either. It’s ridiculous to offer a car that no one can get. What is Toyota thinking!?

      We ordered a 2022 Prime, in 2022. Twenty one months later, a 2024 landed ! Toyota told us the day we finally picked-up ours that the wait now after ordering one is three years. Since the debut of the fifth Gen. model, I have seen just three of them on the road, yes, they are rare.

    Is Toyota or its dealers giving the $7500 credit to people who lease Prius prime?

    • @toyotatalkcanada
      @toyotatalkcanada  Год назад

      In Canada the $5000 rebate is a federal government program.

    • @Youtubeuseritis
      @Youtubeuseritis Год назад

      @@toyotatalkcanada I did not realize it is Canadian dealership- my apologies. In US lease is allowed $7500 rebate but not sure if Toyota wants to pass it on to consumers

    • @toyotatalkcanada
      @toyotatalkcanada  Год назад

      I think generally the rebates are from the government not the manufacturers

    • @Youtubeuseritis
      @Youtubeuseritis Год назад

      @@toyotatalkcanada government is allowing businesses to get $7500 per lease on EV and plug in electric vehicles. Some manufacturers are passing on all or some of this credit to consumers who lease these vehicles. Was wondering whether Toyota is doing that too

      @@RUclipsuseritis It's not up to Toyota (or any other manufacturer), to "pass along the rebate", the rebate is taken off the dealer base price at the time of sale. We got $5,000 off with our 2024 Prime, that eliminated the extra cost of our Prime. The government wants to reduce gas consumption and it's working. After 4,250Km we have used just one tank of gas.

    The Toyota Prius is NOT obtainable unless you want to pay double what they usually cost and you don't mind a really ugly paint-job. Stripped down base models that typically sold for $23k now cost close to $50k... IF YOU CAN ACTUALLY FIND ONE. At present - in the mid Atlantic region stretching from Philadelphia PA all the way down to Richmond, VA there are exactly 12 of these vehicles for sale. That's TWELVE Toyota Priuses to serve the market demand of 4 major metropolitan areas consisting of MILLIONS of people. Maybe you lazy-ass car reviewers need to pick up the phone and call or visit a dealer so you can find out if the vehicles even exist in sufficient quantities for the public to buy. The Prius doesn't and from what I've heard it won't be available anytime soon.
