Thank you for watching my channel! If you enjoyed this video, please SUBSCRIBE and HIT THE NOTIFICATION BELL to my channel. I have fun talking about television from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s television shows and often with the stars of the shows..
I have to say that the interviewer was great. He makes any guests feel welcomed and relaxed. I also loved how well Dean knew about everything. Many times actors will not remember and the fans would know more.
Thank you very much, very kind to say. Dean and Alison are two of the most knowledgeable people you will ever meet when it comes to Little House, amazing!
I am sure Dean loves hearing that. Glad you are enjoying the interviews, more to come, in fact next week will be Little House week on That’s Classic!, watch for a couple fun releases😀
@@ThatsClassicTV He great John. He goes so deep into every answer and you can see in his eyes how much he loves talking about little house. Your channel is great and Dean is super. Other one I watched I loved was Patrick Duffy you done a while back. Another top guy
Loved listening to Dean again. Terrific interview. I had no idea about the Farmer Boy books. Will have to check them out. Thank you again John, looking forward to whatever is coming next.
@@ThatsClassicTV I realized that in the first interview when he talked about how he had gotten into Laura's writing. I was so impressed with that. I can't wait to read the story.

Hello again, thanks for the videos with Dean Butler, Karen Grassle and Alison Arngrim. I would be happy if the next interviews with Melissa Gilbert, Melissa Sue Anderson, Jonathan Gilbert, Matthew Laborteaux would follow. Of course I would also be happy to see all the other stars. The series in Germany will called Unsere kleine Farm !!! By the way, Dean Butler's German dubbing voice is incredibly good, when I hear him he sounds like the voice in German, it's unbelievable... Greetings from Germany..
As a big Little House fan from a young age, I am grateful for such interviews with the stars of Little House on the Prarie - something that many fans have certainly been waiting for. It would be very nice if you would share my messages with the stars. If the Little House Stars came to Germany, I would be the first to pay hundreds of euros to fulfill my dream. Greetings from Germany again...@@ThatsClassicTV
My pleasure, love Dean! The chicken episode is definitely in the top three for sure😀Please make sure you check out all three interview episodes I did with Dean. All are so fun.
i read all the books when I was in school, the show Aires in my country when I was a young adult, and though i was not a kid i today appreciate all the hard work you all did, thank you so much, great work, maling us fejl part of this amazing story. Thanks Lone from denmarø
So glad you were able to watch it as a kid in your country, awesome😀Glad you enjoyed the interview as well. There are other interviews on my channel with Dean Butler and other cast members. I think you would enjoy them!
@JohnCato, once again, you have presented an amazingly in-depth episode. I am sure there are other interviews with most if not all of your guests, but the relaxed atmosphere that you and your guests share, really do make for a nice viewing experience that is family friendly. Thank you so much for all your hard work behind the scenes setting up these interviews, totally amazing!
Thankyou, I adored Little house on the Prairie as much as I enjoyed this wonderful interview. Two true Gentlemen you both have put a smile on my face this evening, wonderful questions with terrific answers. The interviewer always lets his guests chat without interupting, so rare these days, top marks for an awesome video, thankyou. 😊
Oddly one of the scenes that always caught my attention was the way Almanzo said "I'm gonna get the doc!" when his brother was ill. The way he delivered that line was so interesting.
Everyone in my family were big Bonanza fans & the sense of loss when Bonanza went off the air was overpowering. So when Little House pilot came on NBC as a 2 hr movie, we all tuned in because it was Little Joe on the Prairie. 😂😂 It was Little Joe who drew us in each week to watch the show while we got to know Charles Ingalls & the Ingalls family. It was as close to a western that you could find on the air at the time because all the other westerns went away by that time. Thanks for sharing!
I think you are absolutely right. Little Joe was a big reason Little House was able to get made and then he brought an instant initial audience besides just Little House fans who have it a shot because of Michael Landon. Bonanza was a family drama as well so that also helped😀
When I was in High School I had a crush on this boy who looked so much like Almanzo (Dean, who I also had a huge crush on). I was shy & I didn't know him, never talked to him, but somehow I got the courage to ask him to my Church (H.S.) Formal. He looked shocked, but said , "yes". A couple of weeks go by, and he comes to pick me up, we get to the formal, eat dinner & he decided it was time to leave. I was sad, of course, but understood. Let's just say, I learned that just because someone looks like someone else, doesn't mean he acts the same way! I was so heartbroken!!! Hopefully he grew into a very kind man. Anyway...lOl, just thought I'd share!!! 😊
I always wondered if baby Grace was related to someone on the show because they did so many close up shots of her. When the cast first went back to Walnut Grove, they didn't even film the people talking, they just focused on baby Grace falling asleep in her seat! LOL!
Great interview dean butler seems like a gentle chill dude great personality I've been watching a lot of little house on the prairie lately on freevee that show is so great love it Dean is great as almanzo aka manly lol😂😂😂😂😂😂him and Laura were the best couple
Thank you Cade, appreciate the feedback! Dean is a passionate guy and he really cares about the Little House legacy😀Manly is pretty darn funny I have to admit.
It's my pleasure man happy to leave the feedback glad to hear that about Dean seems passionate me to we need more little house legacy glad he cares shows today can compare to little house 😀I always thought manly was funny lol😂😂😂😂😂great nickname Laura have him stuck worth him
I might be mistaken but I believe Dean talks about his time on New Gidget and William Schallert in the first interview I did with him not the Fan Questions Part 1 & 2. Check it out
@ThatsClassicTV I just watched it. Thanks for cluing me in on it. I'd love to see a video with you asking actors who worked with people like William Schallert, Burt Mustin, Gal Gordon and others who had long diverse careers. It could be like your own "clip show" with you featuring the conversations about those three actors.
I have a question. Always wondered if Dean already had, and walked into the interview, with that longer hairstyle or if it came about because he got the part. And, if he kept it long while he was young, after the series ended. Beautiful hair.
I loved your miss beedle interview. It was chock full of great insight into who she is and i think she is sooo cool! Her and mellissa gilbert are amazing wemon. But miss beedle was a bonefide hippy girl. Free love and all
