Everglow didnt even make it despite huge no of views for the videos Rocket Punch was nominated for first place right after they debuted and because of that they were nominated for rookie of the year

As a certified Reveluv who also stans a woolim group (Lovelyz) I think that in my opinion this song is cute but the whole thing that makes Red Velvet, Red Velvet is their ability to harmonize so perfectly in their verses. That’s why their discography is so good. I think Rocket Punch is the type of group that doesn’t really harmonize together, but each have their own individual parts. I’ve never listens to them before but that’s what I think.
I feel like they sing it too soft and less stress at some point so the singing is more flat and go in opposite direction with the music background (singing a bit slow while music is quite fast) . Comparing to their own song "Bim Bam Bum", singing and music go in the same direction.

For me, the thing is RV Vocal line has full developed voice, while Irene and Yeri vocally pretty well trained. Rocket Punch do a good job but still sound flat to me. In my opinion if other groups cover Red Velvet song, those group should be have strong vocalist at least 2 like Oh My Girl or lovelyz.
