Malick pricks into a most wonderful memory I have, with his melodious voice. As a very young girl of 18, I formed a bond (to which Im failed to give a name even today) he was an artist. There was something about him.his shoulder length hair. His baggy shirts and his bag he wore across his chest.he was 12 years senior to me. We listened to music,went to see art exhibitions, went to see jerome rehearsing his dramas. songs of Kasun, indrachapa, nadeeka were our companion.we took long walks and talked about books, movies actors and life. I looked forward to see him all the time.And i believe he did too. We were not lovers but it was something divine.we never told each other the love we felt. But i knew it was there.I loved him and i felt he did too.it was unspoken of.not a single day passed by without us talking to eachother. Time flew I had to leave the country for higher studies.kept in touch.then I longed he would tell me that he love me. Or at least I should have told him how I felt and that I love him. Fast forward 13 years later im married and have a baby. We still keep in touch. I still feel that love i had as a young girl towards him. But only now I dont want to say it to him. He told me just about two years back when I told him that I was expecting, that he loved me all that time and even now but he could not fearing it would stain what we had. It was pure love. He cared and protected me as a child. Held my hand along the way. Touched my temples softly, only to hand me over to the father of my son today. When im old enough to understand his pure love I have come a bit too far in life. I told him that i loved him and love him too. We are now seas apart. I cherish all the time we spent anf Malick stirred all these memories in me. Before I stop, he is doing well and still lives in colombo. He told me අපි තවම ආදරය කරනව, ඒ ආදරය කවදාවත් වෙනස් වෙන්නෙ නෑ. Im relieved. Thank you Malick.you talk to peoples heart xx
Not sure how many time I have listened to this song. One of the best I have ever came across in Sri Lankan music. As lot mentioned here, he is one of the most underrated musicians. Hope he will do more creations like this in future.
I think this artist is really really talented in singing. Omg this song is soo difficult to sing perfectly like this. Ths is an outstanding performance. I think this whole creation is in high standards. im really looking forward in more creations from him.❤❤😍😍😍😍
