The northern limit lotus of Saruka Shrine in Hirakawa City, Aomori Prefecture is in full bloom this year as well, so I went to see it.
Kagamigaike, where Munakata Shrine is located, is also known as "Hasunuma" and is famous for seeing the northern limit of Japanese lotus.
The best time to see the lotus is from late July to early August.
