Bought a S22 last week. Battery was horrible, until i started to disable (or delete) most apps i don't use. I'm not a very heavy smartphone user, but i do browse the internet, play some small games and watch facebook/instagram. With all apps disabled which i don't use, i can do 50% battery in 12 hours which is better than it ever was!

Pretty useless info. You just told people they can uninstall what they dont use and cant what they cant. Duh. Im guessing others watched because they thought you were going to show how to delete the stuff that samsung doesnt allow. There are way to many content providers that do nothing but echo what their fellow youtubers do. What happened to people stepping outside the box and being anti big companies and finding or creating workarounds and ways to bypass these roadblocks. I went on a channel to find out how to root, can you believe the guy said theres no need to root your device it does everything already plus its dangerouse. Wtf. There are so many reasons to root your device. Number one being privacy. Two, its your device we should be able to do what we want with it. Anyone interested in whats really going on with 5g. Go look up qualcomm 5g and read all about it. The processor is designed to do all kinds of background stuff (lots of uploading of data mostly) all while not slowing down your app your using. We were all told it was going to be for faster downloads. I think the verbage they use now is 5g will enhace the user experience. Yeah by giving us ads based on what we say do see or buy. Once everyone realizes whats gone on it will be too late. They forced everyone to get 5g capable phone yet everyone is still using lte 98% of the time

hi sarah: thats a legitimate question and one i ask myself often... so i've been working on a list of what is SAFE to uninstall. everything is actually SAFE to uninstall: worse case scenario, we can just do a factory reset and all the useless system apps will be "gifted" back to us.
here is my list of apps entirely SAFE to uninstall. i run a facebook group addressing this issue, too. i am a software engineer by background, so i am interested in optimizing android phones (which are neither cheap to buy or replace). anyone is free to correct my list (because only by working together, will we rest back control of the phones we pay for) ok here goes:
      samsung internet

That's like asking if a bike rack is essential for your car to be drivable. Why and how would an app be essential if it performs an optional operation like listening to a specific corporation's music service?

I don't mean to be rude, but this video is so unnecessary and just plain stupid. You are basically telling your viewers to delete apps they don't need, as if you are the only person in the world with common sense. At 3:05, most of those bunch of apps are not specifically for Samsung. Do you even know what force stopping apps on Android does? Why is uninstalling updates on My Files "really cool"? You should make videos with the intention of helping the community, and not focus on monetizing. Kinda shows what you are trying to do here. Take my advice if you want to stop the impending decline in views.

Often I spent hours making sure no app, including the phone app could use DATA in the background, even with unlimited plan I use data saver because they say I use about 50GB a month. I know of one Obama Phone provider that gave a half a GB free data. They call and inquired why this allotted data was used up in 2 days. The recieptant of the phone had not used the phone because they had full access to a smartphone for a short time. The Obama phone said we know you did use . All phones use wifi not your wifi but there's, so every home can have free wifi if they wanted us to but free is not in there vocabulary. South Korea had 4 k televisions 10 years before our politicians allowed it to be sold to customers
Some phones have 8k ability. I bet S
K has 16k by now. I remember when we used models and the Korean consumers were light years away. So back to my obsessive deleting and data deprivation cause my green phone avatar or app to vanish. Without it my phone was inoperable and so was and searches to fix it. I had to stubbornly reinstall most. Now I try to research what these sob do
Android has 50 or more not capitalized app and everyone has the mobile green button on to steal more data. By the way the Obama Phone the next month gave unlit data. They know these phone apps are always turning restricted data on 5 seconds after you denied them so. Facebook would help itself to data after I denied and I would catch them second after I just removed them. They had 3 Facebook because one is FB Manager. But they stopped turn it on they knew I would've give in

No. However, there are some *services* (which are listed as apps) and stopping a few of those services might diminish your phone's functionality until you restart it. For example, diminishing print services will prevent you from printing. Stopping ANT+ might affect connectivity with certain devices. I hope you get the point.

A I'm especially mad because I was trying to clear some storage on my phone Samsung Galaxy A01 what's taking up quite a bit of storage and it don't even really use Facebook on my phone that much because I have an Amazon fire Kindle with a 256gb SD card so I just use a lot of apps on there instead but it's very watered-down version of Android doesn't support very many Android apps at all so that's why I use my phone to download some things. I turn off Facebook for a minute my phone to see that somehow Facebook magically got another 80 megabytes used they found out every single time you open Facebook it makes it use at least 80 megabytes storage so that is super annoying

This guide is almost useless. Of course "if you plan on using it" then don't uninstall it! You assume that people know what most of these Samsung, MS and Google apps are.... they DON'T (for many of them). "If there's anything that's like a core feature of your phone don't even touch it!"...... are you serious??! Tech/Android enthusiasts might know which components are "core features of the phone", but the vast majority won't. The whole point of a guide like this should be to help with understanding exactly which of those things AREN'T CORE FEATURES that can be uninstalled or stopped safely. You are going to have people messing their phones up bad by using vague language like that (particularly with the Google components, as I know some of those, even ones that seem completely unrelated to phone low level functionality, can scramble things a little (at the very least) if removed). The "Google app" for example that you pointed at with your thumb and said you don't really use, is an integral part of the Google ecosystem on Android and a prerequisite for many other Google functions and will mess with all kinds of other functionality if removed.
