Within the wisdom teachings of Buddhism, there are many stories that refer to its founder as the Supreme Physician, a healer of all illness-mental, physical, and spiritual. The Buddha understood suffering and its antidote, and his prescription and philosophy for right living led directly to a Tibetan meditation practice that is the medicine our modern-day hearts have been searching for.
On Good Medicine, the remarkable American-born Tibetan Buddhist nun Pema Chödrön shares the gift of tonglen, a simple and elegant meditation system for ordinary people like ourselves. Through tonglen, we can use the difficulties in life-those that cause the most suffering-as a way to befriend ourselves, accept the past we have rejected, and widen our circle of compassion. These traditional breathing meditations cut through obstacles on the spot.
Skillfully distilled into a two-and-a half-hour workshop, Good Medicine offers a revolutionary practice that is already 1,000 years old-and ready to awaken our hearts today.
May we all be happy. May we all be well. May we all be safe. May we all live in peace and harmony with each other, ourselves, the earth and all that lives throughout time and space ♡
    Namaste,
    Love, Gratitude
    and Respect,
    Richard ♡

"Touch and go" with the breath became "Note and flow" for me. I'm so grateful for Ani Pema's teachings; her hallmark is precisely the "unlimited friendliness" she teaches. Peace, Ani Pema.

She is easy to follow and helpful in staying calm and intelligent at the SAME time. Thank you. Your voice sound is also helpful and i don't know the facts that prove how relaxing it is but i can prove her voice is relaxing because the last time i listed to her i fell asleep while paying attention and that is very rare.

@@rebeccaanne8546 search Pema Chodron foundation. Go to store. Find 'Noble Heart'. Or find it on the soundstrue website. It'll be about 45 usd. it's 12 sessions of around 45-60 minutes. And 2 extra sessions. I think this vid is actually one of the extra sessions that you get.

I have been struggling with getting tension headaches and tensing my jaws during meditation that could last for days for years. The part if the breath being like wind not a rock. Not a thing to focus on rather relax with the out breath.. that has solved my tension ever since.. Thank you
