Wow! You definitely helped me brother i use to always have train cars sitting at top of the drop and didn't know why. But I actually just started playing Planet coaster this year! Smh.. I know I'm late but I'm soooo addicted to it. Still learning
Thank you so much man, I was used to theme park Tycoon 2 in Roblox and the controls in this game seemed clunky, but with these settings they feel like one and the same so thank you!!
Hey! Great video. Learned a lot! I know this has been uploaded a pretty while back but I was wondering about the block sectioning and the minimum duration you set at 50 s. Have you tried testing it with actual passengers? I was thinking perhaps the unloading and loading time it will take for the second train will be just about enough time to not cause a stop at the chain lift, without having to change the minimum duration. I've done this by accident in some of my other coasters (place a block section at the end of the tracks and use 2 trains without changing the minimum duration as I quite didn't understand what that did lol) and I was hoping to verify with you.
Hi i am cureently working on a flying coaster. I am having issues with balancing between keeping it in the green and keeping the coaster fun/ intersting. I am noticing that i am doing one or the other or trying to keep the coaster close to the supports. I made a duling wooden hybrid coaster as my first completed coaster. Do you have any tips on how i can balance all of these?
Yeah. This video shoots more towards getting those high ratings over realism. really tough to get all green ratings and stay realistic unless you're doing a specific coaster like an RMC. Giga coasters are easy to get higher ratings to
I find the fear ratings very annoying. Back in the RCT days, we never had to worry about the fear the rides have, but with planet coaster, they want us to make the ride not too much for people. They should get rid of this.
Look at the excitement as an overall number to the fear. If the fears too high the excitement will drop. If the fears to low the excitement will also drop because it’s now boring. The main thing you should be trying to balance is the fear if you can get that in the green the excitement will also be in the green.
This is a late reply, sorry, but you press "A" and drag your left joystick left to right to select a section of the track. Then, by pressing "A", you can smooth out the selected track. Continue smoothing out the track until you like how it looks. I recommend only selecting a small section at a time, as if you select the whole entire coaster, you might not be able to smooth it out fully because some track pieces have reached their "limit".
If we didn't have Planet Coaster we would be playing Roller Coaster Tycoon World... think about that for moment. Scratch that, I would be playing RCT3 lol. anyways, having limits on console is expected. You can't completely blame frontier for that. I'm still shocked to this day that the game even made it to console honestly.
thrillville was more of an arcade style game while planet coaster is about theme park simulation. Thrillville is fun and I love it however you don't get to customize everything like you can in Planet Coaster.
Between this and your smoother coasters tutorial, you're honestly more help than Silveret is.
wow that really means a lot!
Not comparable tbh silv is more of an artist
@@JLWGameshow much does it cost in total
You just got me greens all round and gave me tons of great tips I use now thank you bro I love this game for its amazing community
Thank you I finally created my first successful coaster

As a coaster enthusiast watching this I couldn't help but think about what -2 Gs would do to PTC trains😂 Great vid though

@@JLWGames yeah I know. Realism is pretty much all I go for so I found it a bit funny
I don’t want to doing cocky but I’d say I’m definitely an advanced builder. What kind of those tutorials r u thinking about doing
That's a great question! What kind of tutorials would you like to see as an advanced builder?
Maybe quicker techniques to get rides super smooth. And how to layout a park

@@ryans413 this means you have to be careful with what you are building
RCT absolutely had a fear meter. People wouldn’t ride a ride if it was too intense.
Just Awesome your vids help me big time thanks 😎👍👍
Just did my first 800 ft coaster with all green stats
Life or bath for dry coaster?
My coaster goes to fast after drop and it’s not smooth any help
Make the drop smaller
thanks for this!
you're welcome!
How do you get the mod?

On planet coaster how can I smooth out coaster on my Xbox one?

@@JLWGames fair enough, either way great video 👍
First coaster i made no one wanted to get on it for some odd reason it was only 5 times taller than big ben
i want to make a coaster that shatters the records for height, inversions and speed
POV pls
Thrillville was better you didn’t have to worry about rides being too scary

Bro this game sucks I’ve had it for a week and I haven’t opened one roller coaster yet cuz they all to extreme no matter what I do 😂
Overuse of the word Actually. #cringelife
