    Your controller trigger was in turbo mode, look at the manuel to turn that off

      This makes so much sense. Thank you. I was digging in the manual looking for something but must've missed that.

    I would consider doing this to make a box that has the motherboard, good cooling, but with a 99Wh battery. Then I would connect a wireless controller and AR glasses (e.g. Xreal). Yes it's not as portable as a steamdeck but its still portable enough

    I considered it because I want one with keys split on both sides instead of sticks and buttons and a trackpad, all the same back keys though. Preferably running QMK or ZMK

    I’m interested in buying my first audiophile headphones. If price doesn’t matter, and all I’m looking for is pure enjoyment, what would you recommend? Thanks.

    Holy crap, D2? You're the first creator who doesn't explicitly do D2 content I've seen play D2. Throw more grenades, guardian!

    I know this is off topic for this video, but is there gonna be a jbl 306p dolby atmos setup like is that in the works?

    Ya sorry about that. I've been sorta just working on things as I have time and fixing things as i run into things, the newest version fixes a lot of your issues. With instructions now too!

      I love watching this because it's literally just me trouble shooting things for hours ❤️ Also I completely didn't expect anyone would be interested in it.

    Am I weird or is the Steam deck 3.5mm kinda weak in terms of output

  • @thejackofclubs
    @thejackofclubs Месяц назад

    its very cool and i love it. i have a 3d printer too, and i love the serviceability. but i dont like the price. buying a steamdeck is cheaper and its already a pretty serviceable device. if i saved money by 3d printing parts and assembling myself i would be on board. maybe a better and cheaper option will be there in the future. still cool though.

    Weird project to be honest, those mainboards cost more than an actual steamdeck. I guess it's just DIY for the sake of DIY.

    • @IsaacRifkin
      @IsaacRifkin Месяц назад +4

      The idea, is if you've already had your framework 13a few years, and you updated your mainboard already. You can keep the chassis and modules and use them still. The old mainboard, if it's just old not dead, can be used in Lord of ways like this, or as a standalone server, or lots of things

    • @cristi724
      @cristi724 Месяц назад

      @@IsaacRifkin Yea I got that, but I am talking about this specific SD DIY. It costs more and is much much more inferior to just buying a SD, and selling your mainboard.

    • @thebluemarauder
      @thebluemarauder Месяц назад

      What I really appreciate is that it’s much more future proof and eco-friendly. In the future as long as Framework keeps releasing new mainboards (they’re already 4 generations in and no signs of slowing down) there’s potential to just take it apart swap the boards and put it back together to upgrade to the latest and greatest hardware. There’s no similar path for the steam deck or any of its competitors.

    • @cristi724
      @cristi724 Месяц назад

      @@thebluemarauder Those are valid points, but the fact is that the steam deck is already fat and cumbersome. A DIY version that's even worse, and costs more on top, is just DYI for the sake of DIY. And it's not like the Steamdeck is not eco-friendly to begin with, you can find parts for it and it's all simple screws to replace. In regards to future proof, for handhelds it's questionable how important that is, the PSP, DS, 3DS and others are still popular after more than a decade of life.

    I think as far as diy projects go. A 3d printed tube amp, and/or r2r dac which comes with pcb with cables to connect/separate various components in creative ways

      I couldn't give less of a crap personally because every single other router manufacturer that isn't Cisco seems to be coming out with a new CVE every other month. I'm too desensitized to consumer router vulnerabilities at this point.

      TP-link at least has actual products with utility, unlike 99% of RUclips sponsorships. Perhaps not the smartest option to buy, but that's advertising for you

    Cool, This is what the steam deck should look like, they really should ditch the track pads on the next revision.

      @cristi724 Месяц назад +3

      You should try some games that benefit from the trackpads on your steamdeck, it will change your mind. I found RTS games amazing with the trackpads.
