Do the first pistons camshaft lobes point out or are they pointed down and out a little? Not sure if you remember since making this video, but you have them covered with the cloth and I can't tell. The issue is nobody removes the timing chain tensioner. You have to take that out. As the second you remove the chain. That thing pushes the plunger all the way out. Why the chain does not want to go back on. You have to reset it. Then put the chain on. Then the tensioner back in.... And yes copper coat fixes that issue. As it acts as a heat transfer agent...

On a 4 cylinder it doesn't matter where the lobes are. It matters where the dot or marking on the cam gear is.
