I splurged on one of the big suites on the Liberty back in Aug of 2019. We had plenty of room for all 5 of us. My husband and I had a completely separate bedroom and our own bathroom with a full jacuzzi style tub, while our 3 adult children shared the living room and their own bathroom. We had a very large deck with room for at least 2reclining chairs and a table and 4 chairs plus more space. We also had floor to ceiling windows that faced forward and gave us an awesome view. We received priority boarding at the beginning of the cruise. Even though these rooms were located on the lido deck, we never had any problems with noise and it was so convenient to go eat whenever we wanted to. Totally worth the splurge.
Oh I love that! Sounds like you had an amazing suite! My husband and I were just talking about wanting to try one of the suites in the front with the floor to ceiling windows! :) Glad you loved it. I do have a question though; do they have window coverings for the windows? All the photos I see never show coverings, so I was just curious. :)
@@westysadventures1883 yes, there were curtains for all of the windows. I know that this room only seemed to be available if you had 5 people for the room though. But it would be a great way to split costs if you have others that don’t mind sharing the living to sleep.
I just had a suite on the Luminosa to Alaska last month, I loved it and highly recommend it! I cruise solo though so it was a bit more than I needed lol. I do have a vista suite booked on the pride for Feb 23 and can’t wait!
Oh i just got off a Cove Balcony on the Mardi Gras and I had standard doors not sliders and was extremely difficult to open lol. Glad I'm not really really old yet, I'm just old, no really's yet.
We had a casino deal for a suite on the Celebration and while the room was pretty cool and the location for the rest of the ship was great for us, it was hands down the most awful balcony I've had. Right over a white awning on the deck below, and outset just a bit from the cabins above so no cover and everyone above is looking right down on you. Would take a cove balcony over that any day and if I'd paid my own money I would have been pretty upset. Was fun to try it out though! I am currently looking at another casino offer for this exact cabin, how I found your vid.
Thousands for this ?????????? Oh no A dated ship like this better have exquisite food and service. Thank you for this presentation The balcony is just so so.
Thank you for watching! You are going to enjoy the suite! Just curious, when are you going in April? We will be back on the Liberty April 14th as well! :)
We were on this ship in September 2022 I would not go back the food was cold every place we ate the carnival Mardi Gras is the best now going on the carnival celebration for three weeks in January 2023.
Not with an Ocean Suite, but there are with higher level suites. Ocean suite perks are first to board the ship, first to debark the ship, free large bottle of water, cookies delivered to your room, extra space in your room with a bathtub, and extended balcony. Thanks for watching and hope this helps!
So getting on first was awesome, as well as having the room ready as soon as we got on. It was super nice! However, we received no special treatment to debark at the end of our cruise, which was kind of disappointing.
@@westysadventures1883 what time did you get on the ship?? Was your room ready first thing along with diamond/platinum members or was there a shorter wait than balcony/interior cabins?
@@sulaa. Great questions! We were first to board, and our boarding timeframe was from 10-10:30am. However, they were a tad behind on the start, and let us on around 10:30. We could go straight to our rooms, and they were 100% ready. THAT was a super nice perk, on top of the extra space and bigger shower!
@@westysadventures1883 I booked a suite and was trying to figure out when would be the best time to board. I’d rather my room be ready since I’ve decided to not check my luggage but I couldn’t find any clear answers as to when suite rooms would be ready.. it’s hard clarifying suite perks vs. FTTF perks. Thank you! This was very helpful!
It was midship, so I’m not sure about this specific room, but I have stayed forward and back before. It’s seriously all about the weather. If you hit weather, you’re going to feel rocking no matter where you are on the ship. I personally like mid ship, but front and back don’t bother me either.

Well done Amanda! Suite looks great 👏
Thank you so much! It was definitely neat to try out a suite for a change. ❤️🛳

Going in August 2023 on this ship in an ocean suite. Got a good rate around 459 a person, can't wait!
Yay! Have so much fun! 🛳
We're on the Liberty Suite 7233 now and we paid $719.00 for 2 of us. I personally think it's worth it if you value space.
Did you book with a carnival pvp or a travel agent?

Great video!!
If there were more than two of us or the added perks beyond the room were exceptional then I'd go with one. Otherwise most balcony rooms are fine.
Yeah, the best perk was priority boarding, imo. Thank you for watching! :)

Valuable info. We are sailing on the Liberty in April - in a suite.

Sorry you had a bad experience on the Liberty. I also loved the Mardi Gras and have the Celebration booked for 2023. Have a wonderful time in January!
I really miss those post COVID prices lol
Me too! I’m a PVP for Carnival and I sure do wish I had them still to offer to my guests! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the video… I’m super excited❤️

How did 6 people comfortably share this suite?
It doesn’t hold 6 people, only 2
The max any of our cabins accommodate in 1 room is 5
