WNBA is in a sort of archaic stage where they seem to not understand marketing.
The league does not market their players they market the league. And that has not worked at all, but if they lean heavily into marketing players they may hit the same wall the NBA hit.
I believe every league wants to be the NFL where the league makes money and the players are checked. The W have the players in check but they are not making a profit

@@jordanadams9219 you know looking at it from a different perspective. Maybe the WNBA owners don't want the WNBA to be successful. Half of the WNBA teams are owned by their NBA counterparts. Maybe they don't want a second league like the NBA. Would explain the stricter, more harsh punishments the W receives for the same actions the NBA does
