Day 1 of Loophole of Retreat: Venice, a symposium held from Oct 7-9, 2022 at the Fondazione Cini in Venice, Italy, in conjunction with Simone Leigh: Sovereignty, the artist's exhibition at the U.S. Pavilion as part of the 59th Biennale di Venezia. The presentations included here were given in the symposium's main space, the Sala degli Arazzi, on October 7, 2022.
