Some of the nicest guy's I ever met was him and Greg' the Hammer' Valentine at a meet and greet, and Roy 'Honky Tonk Man in the late 90's, they were absolute legends ❤
I'm 46 and grew up in Florida. My Father would take me and my Friends to Orlando all the time. I had my Foam 2x4 with me. I remember being in the 3rd Row on the Floor at the Royal Rumble. The place would explode when each wrestlers music came on. It was the Golden Era of WWF! Enjoy your Retirement.
I'm Jim's neighbor (who does NOT watch "Wrasslin") & we got off to a *rough* start when he was building this home. *Every* single time they handed him a 2x4, the forest echoed with *"H'Ohhhhhh!!!".* I didn't realize it wasn't directed at me but I do now. 16,764 *H'Ohhhhhhh!!!'s* later & he's an ideal neighbor. ~Bonnie
Great video thanks for showing us around your house. Happy belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Just setting here on the couch out in the country in Oklahoma with a nice fire and watching it snow.
Hacksaw is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time!! I grew up watching him. I was born in 1979 and hacksaw is a big part of my childhood memories of when I still believed they were really angry and fighting each other. They were amazing actors and stuntmen!! Deserve so much credit for what they did for children and adults that don’t want to grow up!! Thanks Hacksaw!!!
I had the pleasure of meeting Hacksaw Jim Duggan at the ICO Pro promotion in 1992 he is a nice guy and I show him again in 2012 at Comic Con. I like what he said "we aren't all lead singers in the band i was the drummer".Give Cancer a wack with that 2x4 tough guy HOOO
Had the chance to meet Jim in Miami back in 2012. He was doing a book signing for his autobiography "Hacksaw" he was promoting at the time. He was very nice, humble and down to earth, he talked about his bouts with Andre The Giant and other wrestlers of that era. He was very sweet and lovable and it was very nice to have had the chance to meet him.
This was a pleasure to see. We get bombared with some many negative shoot interviews and we hear many horror stories that it is nice to see Jim and his wife still together and enjoying each other. I also appreciate his "band" comment - everyone can't be the lead singer but what a ride it is to be apart of the band. God bless
I'm 42 now. When I was a kid it was so cool to see hacksaw with the 2x4 and all that energy made him my favorite wrestler. Thanks for all the great memories.
Seeing this man again brings back so many memories from when I was a kid... He was one of my favourite Wrestler's. May he have many more years of health, prosperity and joy...
I thought Cancer took this amazing man away from us. Glad to know he is still going strong. You gave me alot of excitement in my teen years. Thank you so much Hacksaw!
Met this man 5 times he remembered me at 2. Nicest wrestler I've probably ever met next to Bret Hart, but you could tell he don't take no bs. A real man. God bless the Hacksaw!
If Flair and Hogan are the singers then you're definitely the drummer because you're the heartbeat of wrestling, loads of great wrestling memories over the years Hacksaw, thank you very much 💯🤝
I'm so incredibly happy for you, Jim. Thank you for all that you've given the wrestling world and your fans. Wrestling loses far too many men & women at a far too young age, and they leave us having put their bodies on the line just to entertain us. So it's beautiful when we get to see a wrestler enjoying a well deserved retirement. Here's to many more years enjoying your hand built home with your wife, daughters and the fur & feather family!
Jim did a cameo for me for my birthday and he was so kind and thoughtful I’ll never forget what he said to me about my best friend who passed away and my sister and my father he’s just a solid good person… ironically he has the same log cabin kit that my buddy just sold for 550 and moved out of Rhode Island lol

His dad was chief of police of Glens Falls at the same time my Uncle was Chief of Police of nearby Fort Edward. I’ve always felt a real hometown connection with the mighty Hacksaw Jim Duggan! Very nice homestead you got there! 👍🏻

Something about Hacksaw's voice just makes me smile & takes me back to my childhood.

What a great guy this man is. I stopped him one night on I-20 about 30 years ago while I was a State Trooper in S.C. I think he was speeding, not sure but didn't give him a ticket. Not knowing who he was, when he got out of this vehicle, I remember saying to him that if he was not a pro-wrestler that he waisted his life, he stuck out his hand and said that he was HackSaw Jim Duggan. We had a good laugh that night. What a great guy this man is. Glad he is now living in SC. Blessings Jim Duggan, we will meet again.
Seeing Hacksaw Jim brings some great memories from a more innocent time. So good to see him and his pride in his place in life. Good human and even greater example of how to live life.

Duggan was my first favorite wrestler. First saw him once in the Dallas Sportatorium. but really started watching him regularly when he joined midsouth!
How can anyone who likes wrestling not like/love this? Hacksaw is class, this is great and it's cool to see a former superstar at home, just being normal & chill w/his nice Christmas decorations.
SO MUCH about this made me so happy to watch. 1) Hacksaw is like a childhood hero. It's very strange to me to see him as an older guy just taking it easy like my dad lol. But I am very happy to see he has a nice safe home. 2) He reminds me EXACTLY of my dad. Lives secluded. Loves the outdoors. My father doesn't have chickens, but he has alley/porch cats that he takes care of and gives names to according to something about their personality lol Just the little fatherly things that he says stand out to me big time- like when he showed the decoration duck and he had to make sure to tell the quick story about his his daughter got it for his wife 3) His wife (just like my mother) collects little knick knacks. For my mom, it was salt and shaker peppers, and Mickey Mouse memorabilia. My mom got REALLY into The Walking Dead when it came out and she got to collecting The Walking Dead Funko pops. And my mother also collected those Santa's village figurines. 4) I still think about his home invasion all the time. I understood from reading the news when it happened that Hacksaw and his wife live pretty secluded. It made me think of my parents, and I often hoped that perhaps someone should help them install some kind of security or surveillance system. I'm VERY relieved to see that Hacksaw got cameras. And apparently Hacksaw is packin' LMAO so yea, maybe don't mess w the the man bc he aint fighting with 2x4s anymore LMAO He seems like he leads a very low key and chill lifestyle these days. I know he has 2 daughters. In my mind's eye, I can almost see Hacksaw driving them crazy offering them food and money every time they come to visit lmao. I wonder who does it more, Hacksaw or his wife. The wife is usually the one who's like "Ohhh the boys/girls are not hungry, leave them be"... but 5 mins later "are you SURE you dont want to eat a little something?"
Out of all the wrestlers I've ever met and I've met a lot. This one is the most genuine kind-hearted individual that I've gotten to meet hacksaw you're the man and I'll always remember how kind you were
Duggan is one of the class acts from the golden age of wrestling.

Met him twice and he was one of the nicest wrestlers I have met. He loves meeting his fans.

Best story ever!!!😂
I choose to believe this is true because it’s a great story.
What a humble man, a true WWE hero. He stayed grounded despite all his success😊
With all the tragedies in wrestling its so nice to see one of the golden era legends living their best life into old age. Good on ya hacksaw.
You can tell he didn’t abuse alcohol ,use drugs or steroids! Why? Because he’s still alive! 🙏🏽

One of my childhood heroes. Glad to see he’s doing well and living his best life. Not all wrestlers have to live tragic lives.
Sad because a lot of them seemingly do...

And apparently Hacksaw is packin' LMAO so yea, maybe don't mess w the the man bc he aint fighting with 2x4s anymore LMAO
He seems like he leads a very low key and chill lifestyle these days.
Remember last year someone tried to break in and Hacksaw kicked his ass... it was ALL OVER the news
@@MyNameIsUnavailable I mentioned that in my comment. Like two times.
