about the resolution i figured he was going to go with figured it was going to be like a 50-50 warning vs lowered ticket.
I think this guy really wanted to just slam him because of driving the WRX, but pulled the guy over he was nice in the military and with his girlfriend/wife. had a heart but also said - you can't be speeding around here ---- good answer.
What’s the fun in this?…. Respectful patrol officer, respectful driver, passenger didn’t pull a Karen, car was registered and insured… just a ho-hum incident where a guy was driving to fast, and accepted a ticket…. I can’t imagine a world where people are civil and take responsibility for their actions. Kudos to the occupants and the officer.

"Improper display". It infuriates me when people obstructed their plate and avoid photo radar tickets, plate scanners, and engagement in criminal behavior, with their illegally obstructed plate. There should be ZERO tolerance for this. Fake or obstructed platesbareba serious pllroblem natiowide, and an even more serious issue in states where you only require one plate; which is stupid in amd of itself. People knowing obstructbtheir plate, it's not a matter of, 'oops, I accidentally obstructed my plate and happened to be speeding.' Some things don't deserve a break.
Do you mean the frame around the plate? I had an officer tell me the dealer frame around my plate was an obstruction is why I ask. Half the cars on the highway have them but I removed mine.
Yeah he was bookin, probably distracted again. Sporters have that need for speed, but not too bright.

Hate to say it, but it's just another typical Washington YOYO in a Subaru with a "racing" spoiler speeding and making our state look bad, especially being military!!He should know better than that!! I could go on, but I'll stop. Thanks NST!!

A: that "racing spoiler" comes on all Subaru WRX's from the factory, its part of the car.
B. He wasn't driving recklessly, wasn't racing. Just trying to make good time on a road trip in a wide open highway.

So what the OP is saying is that makes his home state look bad. Just like I would if someone from Iowa was acting a fool and speeding like this gentleman was. If you think he did him a favor you are wrong. He fully documented this guy and put him in the system why do you think he is doing all that computer typing. For now on whenever he gets pulled over they will mark where he was stopped and what he said to the police. I rather they give me a ticket then add me to a list. I hate California but those list are illegal here
