Hi! that was really helpful, thank you! I had the weirdest challenge the other day. They didn't really framed it as such rather it was described as a design home task which I had to prepare beforehand and then present in the call. In the instructions was written: '10min to present the task, and 40min - We will dive together into your solution by asking you follow-up questions, stress-testing your design, and finding opportunities for improvements 💪' So, I naturally expected just that. But what happened in reality was that they took one of my ideas (which was super product specific for them), and told me 'let's brainstorm that, how would you make it happen'. That really confused me, and I really didn't know how to proceed.
I feel like my brain wasn't prepared and I also didn't recognize this as a whiteboard challenge, since it didn't have a clear brief, it was rather one of my ideas (for a solution)
I stumbled across your video. This week will be my first onsite whiteboarding challenge. Your tips and framework are practical. Hopefully, I will nailed it. Thanks for sharing. As always, great video!
Super helpful and insightful - thanks for breaking down the whiteboard challenge in an easy to understand way. It was really intimidating for me as someone who doesn't have a formal UX background, so I'm grateful for your walkthrough! Appreciate all your time, effort, and edits to make it an enjoyable and relevant watch :)
I am that girl who survived a whiteboard challenge because I watched yours, thank you! :)
