- May 30, 1999 -Trying to stop T.K.'s revenge on the thugs who robbed him, Robert is shot (in an embarrassing part of his anatomy), hits his head and lapses into a coma. Angry Jerri decides it is time T.K. was removed from the Peterson home. An angel named Max appears to convey Robert to Heaven. Just as a tearful T.K. comes to Robert's bedside to beg his forgiveness, Robert recovers, and all is forgiven.

It was real issues but in the last episode they wasn’t been real about it. If I was gonna stop my son from shooting some thugs. I would’ve played it cool until the thugs left. Interfering in that confrontation would’ve made me and my son look weak to the thugs which would’ve led to them shooting me just like how he got shot

I understand they’re pissed, scared, & a whole lot of other emotions, but TK’s heart was in the right place. His little bro got his grandpas watch jacked, & he saw how much it meant to him. He took care of it the only way he knew how. Wasn’t his fault they got jacked.

@@Adam96616 lol, he went away to college at the end of S3. He was mentioned a few times in the 4th season as a reference but no updates. At least they didn't act like he never existed but you would have thought he would have either made a cameo or a character mentioned, 'I called Michael and he's going to try to get here'
I was dissapointed that Michael never found out that Robert got shot. I was hoping Jerri or Zaria would have contacted him. He should have been there as well as Wendell. That's a great observation.
It really wasn't TKs fault. Robert didn't have to go down there. You can't help everybody in every situation.

I remember we had to wait an entire year for this episode after the season 4 cliffhanger.

Does anyone else think it was stupid Micheal was not in this eposide you would think his dad being shot would bring him home from college?
That's a good observation. This was pretty typical with these 90s shows. Characters would disappear never to be heard from again. It seems like after Michael left for college he was never mentioned again.
I'll admit TK was a cool and interesting character and put new spin on the show. But why'd they have to replace the clean cut normal Black guy with the brotha from the hood. That was also typical of 90's Black sitcoms. Always doggin out the smart clean cut black guy. Look at Fresh Prince, Family Matters, In The House, and the Jamie Foxx show.

David Mcgee Idk they never said why but that didnt bother me much cause i was not the biggest Micheal fan i more so missed wendell the show went down hill when he left to me.
David Mcgee i think his actor had some other gig then. That was why he was sudenly at "college". So they just could not bring him back even though it would basically be necessary in this episode.

Mrs. Peterson's a rare find. What she said at the 6:30 mark and that entire scene speaks volumes and is definitely missing nowadays (a Queen standing next to her King and WANTING him to be there). How many times have people said the man is the lucky one to have her but the woman appreciates him enough to say she's lucky to have him? She also said she "needs" him as well as the family. Very rare. That's a forgotten kingdom...family unit. Underrated show.

If Robert really wanted to reach the mainstream audience and from a hood perspective at the same time, then instead of all this guardian angel sequences, he should've just displayed 2 versions of TK's decision. See what happens if TK pulled the trigger, and one sequence if he didn't. At least the episode could be able to reach everyone who were in relatable situations. But we all know, the execs over at the WB network wouldn't be feeling the reality part.

I'm surprised Robert didn't get that pissed off. He was far calmer than Jerri or Zaria were. I wish he would have called both of them down. I understand Zaria and Jerri were upset and pissed off but they didn't give TK a chance to explain. I'm glad they came to their senses and forgave TK. Makes me wonder if Michael showed up if he would have been angry or calmer and more understanding.

They were too judgemental and to "Perfect". TK could of explained himself. Even though he went down there with a gun,he was trying to get it back. It wasn't his fault he got jacked. He was picking up a gift. The only thing I got from this teaching is to forgive,but also don't judge. There's only one person that can judge and that's GOD SIMPLE.
This is probably the most underrated show of all time. It lasted a decent amount of time (5 seasons) and yeah I've heard of it but no one ever talks about it anymore and I had to go out of my way to find the episodes. The only reason I'm here is because I was interested in seeking out the first shows to air on the WB network, long story, and wanted to watch all the shows as part of the WB's launch. I'm not sure how popular it was in its day but it seems all but forgotten now and that a real shame. Glad I found this channel and very thankful for this series.
