I'm currently working on my major scales and diatonic inversions in all keys...is there anything I should add to these to better enhance my practice?
The more music you can absorb the better understanding you will develop on how the inversions are used. If gospel is your desired style to learn listen to and practice these songs.

Mannnn do I need help . I understand FACE when I was young but I just don’t seem to get intervals & Melody to a song 😢. I play chord and I probably need to go back and learn chords . Do you teach music periods to help me start over and really get the basics . I don’t like the way I play . Thank you for this tutorial but I need it in slow motion s one on one 😢

Thank you for viewing my channel. My viewer requested a different approach to this song. I’m well versed in playing the hymn version as well.
Maybe your hymnal is different...just saying 😅 in our congregation, we sometimes, use "substitutions" for notes and chords to enrich the harmony and melody, and that's OK. We worship in spirit and truth.
